"Hey~Iris-chan~!"
"Gingerbread! I thought Irie-sama told you to let me handle this."
The ginger spun around in midair, giggling gleefully.
"Well~I pestered him until he would let me~!"
Iris scoffed and tapped her whip onto her shoulder.
"Fine. But don't get in my way, Gingerbread."
"Hai, hai~!"
Spanner frowned slightly.
"Now there's two of them..."
Tsuna sighed as he pushed off of the wall behind him and slowly made his way over to Hito.
"Don't worry, Spanner-san. Just continue with the eye contacts and the headphones--Hito-kun and I will stall."
"Be careful, Tsunayoshi, Vongola."
"Hai~/H-Hai."
Hologram-Reborn was now crossing his legs, watching them closely.
Hito swallowed two HDW pills, closing his eyes before opening them; he took a calm breath as he stood beside Tsuna.
The brunet smiled at the teen's determination before looking at their new opponents.
"Hito-kun, worry more about the Death Stalk Unit than the other two. I can handle them..." His eyes switched to a bright yellow. "...Myself." Tsuna flicked his wrist as a black pistol appeared in his hand; he smirked. "And I'll do it...Reborn-style."
The baby-hitman raised an eyebrow in amusement as Hito sweatdropped slightly.
"Eh?"
Tsuna smirked as he suddenly pointed his gun at Gingerbread.
Bang, bang!
Gingerbread widened his eyes before twirling around, barely dodging the bullets.
"Ohoho~! Naïve, naïve~!"
Tsuna was unaffected by the insult as he quickly pointed his gun at the ground; he shot two bullets at it.
Hito snapped out of his stupor and charged at the Death Stalk Unit(DSU), blazing past Iris, who scowled and raised her whip while turning around to face him.
"What do you think you'r--!"
"Chaos Shot."
Iris jerked her head back to narrowly dodge a bullet to her face; Gingerbread wasn't so lucky as he got shot in the shoulder.
Tsuna smirked before charging his gun up as Iris screeched and attacked with her whip.
The brunet dodged the attacks and flipped backwards when Gingerbread shot knives at him.
"Spanner-san, I would find a safer place to complete those eye contacts and headphones."
"Ah. I'll move then, Tsunayoshi."
Gingerbread finally noticed Spanner in the room and giggled.
"Ohohoho~! There you are Spanner! Boss-san has sent us to kill you~!"
Spanner ignored the other, causing a tick mark to appear on Gingerbread's head.
"Oi--!"
Suddenly, there was a gun pointed a few centimeters from his face.
"Mayhem."
A rain of Sun flame-bullets was shot out at Gingerbread as he barely dodged them; he was grazed by a few, but he didn't bleed since he was a puppet after all.
Tsuna glanced over a Hito and saw that the blonde used 'X-Stream' on one of the DSU monsters; he smirked.
'Looks like Hito-kun is handling them well so far.' Tsuna switched his gun go his left hand. 'The contacts should be almost done by now...'
He caught Iris's wrist with his right hand when she was about to attack him from behind; he aimed his gun without looking at her.
"Destruction."
A concentrated beam of Sun flames snipped some of her hair as she yanked her hand out of Tsuna's grasp.
In reality, the brunet was merely playing with the two; he wanted Hito to finish them off with his perfected X-Burner.
Spanner was typing on his computer in the corner of the room; he smiled briefly before unplugging something.
"Vongola!"
Hito turned to look at Spanner and caught something; he was hit by a DSU beast for losing his concentration, so he crashed into the wall.
"Hito-kun/Vongola!"
"...I'm fine."
The cloud of dust settled, revealing the blonde, who had a trail of blood running down his chin; he wiped it away with his thumb.
When he opened his eyes, he revealed an 'x' in each of them; his red headphones were placed on his ears.
Tsuna smirked.
'Let's see if Hito-kun can finally perfect his X-Burner.'
