Mark's POV

I walked into my first period class and dropped my bag on the ground next to my chair in the back of the room. I flipped through Instagram as I waited for students to flood into the classroom and for class to start. Once the class was full, the bell rang and the teacher stood up at the front of the room. He opened his mouth to speak, when suddenly a certain Irish loud mouth slammed opened the door and strut into the room.

He dropped his bag on the ground and sat down in the first empty chair, putting his chin in his hands and smiling innocently. The teacher just rolled his eyes and went back to the lesson he hadn't even started. After all, everybody had something better to do than argue with Jack and just end up losing.

After class I ran after Jack and pulled him to the side.

"What were you doing in my class?"

"I got kicked out of my other class." He smiled and walked off.

The next day Jack was late again. The teacher droned on and on about something meaningless and boring. School may not teach me how to pay taxes or raise a family, but at least I can find the area of a triangle.

My eyes wandered around the room when suddenly Jack caught my attention. He was turned in his chair and sticking his tongue out at me. I smiled and stuck my tongue out to mock him. He returned with another goofy face. I fluffed up my hair to make it stand straight up and look ridiculous. We went back and forth, trying not to laugh and catch the teacher's attention. I never noticed, but eventually the entire class had completely forgotten about the lesson and was staring at us. Including the teacher.

Jack finally looked around him at all the students watching him cross his eyes and make childish faces at a boy across the room. He just burst out laughing and fell out of his chair. The teacher scowled and snatched Jack up back to his feet.

"Jack, Mark, you two need to step outside." He opened the door and watched as Jack happily bounced out the door. I shyly stood up and trudged outside, hiding my face as I made my way into the hall.

Once we were outside Jack leaned against a wall and started goofing around on his phone. I stood next to him, biting my lip nervously as I watched the clock, waiting for the bell to ring. Suddenly a question popped into my head.

"Hey Jack, what did you get kicked out of your last class for?" I raised my eyebrows at him. He just looked up at me and smiled widely.

"Being disruptive."
