Introduction

THE SELECTION has always been a tradition of the royal family, something taken seriously by them, and even despite their lack of appearances, this generation is no different. The only thing is, why has the royal family had a ban with the press against this Selection being documented?

THOUGH THERE have been several theories of what happened circled around, the most popular beliefs are what were written in this edition. This will also simply be on the information gathered prior to the ban of the press.

The Royal Trio

PRINCE KASON. Somehow, even though the prince has been rumoured to have been confined in his home his entire life, the prince has managed to make a name known for himself in the streets. Criminals, mostly, have circulated information on the prince and have even provided us with proof that there is a great chance that this information is true.

Even if we've only seen the prince in pictures, it's obvious he has no care, whatsoever, for much. Simply in a photo, you can gathered that he's likely one of the most troubled, ill-mannered princes we have had in the past, and this is coming from a picture that was taken several years ago.

But, no one quite knew of the prince's habit for sneaking out of the palace and slipping his way, secretly, into our society that has adjusted to living without the royal family. Over the past few months, resources have caught the prince, clad in black, meeting with a hooded girl in the back streets of what was once known as the province of  Sonage. No one knows exactly what the ever-so-secretive Kason Schreave is up to, but everyone can take their guesses.

NOT QUITE following in his brother's footsteps, Prince Alec has never been seen outside of the palace. Therefore, aside from the very rare interview (the last one dating back to when the boy turned fourteen), we haven't gotten to know much about the prince. But, we have been working on uncovering some things from the past.

Even from a young age, it seemed that Prince Alec was covering up the lack of his brother's efforts, working as hard as possible to maintain the eldest prince's reputation. The younger twin works from behind the shadows in an attempt to cover up his brother's tracks, but little was he aware that it wasn't doing a bit of good in the public's eye.

This being said, even the young, Princess Carmen has been working to help Alec with their brother's work. One can only make the assumption that Prince Kason will be looking for a wife, out of these girls, merely so that they can pick up his slack.

Old News

QUEEN ELISE and King Rory were the happiest couple in Illeá the day of their wedding, but ever since that night, the couple has not even been seen standing next to each other. In family photographs or interviews, Queen Elise will sit to the far left, Carmen, Kason and Alec in the center, while King Rory sits on the fair right.

Rumours have been an uproar lately with people claiming that something, several more theories as to what, happened on their wedding night that tore whatever potential the family had. A speculation on the no-press agreement being vanquished has also been spread among the people, creating hope that more, reliable news on the Selected will be coming soon.

A/N: First off, the date is the current date of the Selection, not the actual date I posted it on! Second, the date is in the middle of the purple moon, right after the first round of dates (the second ones about to start). Therefore, if your character wishes to question a member of the royal family, it must be once you are on the second date for 'The Purple Moon'.
