I sat up as Kendra got dressed.

“You sure you’ll be okay without me here? This flu seems pretty gnarly,” she said.

“I’ll be fine, and I’ve only been throwing up a lot, its probably something bad I’m eating. Gives me time to restock the fridge,” I said.

“Okay, I’m trusting you. I’ll send Craig later to check on you,” she said. "Later.”

“Okay. Bye,” I said as she left.

After watching some television with Kendra’s tabby, Pugsley, I decided to use the bathroom for some reason.

After that I decided to get some flu medicine and opened the medicine and my eyes fell on a box of pads and I realized something.

My period is late…

I gulped nervously as I overlooked some facts, from the period to the vomiting and sometimes craving and then quickly got changed and I ran to my car, driving to a nearby Walgreens and buying some pregnancy tests and two 2L bottles of water.

I made it back and drank all the water before taking the tests and waiting, pacing the room nervously.

Wait a minute, but… the baby can’t be Craig’s. He used a condom.

That means…. Oh no…..

The timer beeped and I looked at the 5 tests in front of me.

All positive..

I threw out all the tests and everything as I suddenly felt dizzy.

I’m pregnant… With Ronnie’s baby.

That was my last thought before everything went blurry and I felt myself falling before it all went black.
