About an hour later, the car arrived at a huge white building. It looked old, as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. It looked kind of scary.

"Um.. Sir?" I asked, nervous. "Are you sure this is the right place?"

The man said nothing but just took my suitcases out of the trunk, put them in front of me, and drove off.

"I see I didn't get the red carpet treatment," I muttered to myself as I dragged my suitcases inside. There was nothing except a receptionist's desk and a single black chair. The whole room was just black. I walked up to the receptionists desk. To my puzzlement, there was nobody there.

"Hello?" I called out. No answer. "Hello?" I yelled, a lot louder. "Anyone there?" I noticed one of those ding bells on the counter. Just as I was about to touch it, a voice growled.

"Don't you dare touch that." I screamed. In the place where there was nobody, an old woman who looked like they should work at a library was sitting, staring at me through her glasses. Upon my screaming, she rolled her eyes.

"Stop screaming and tell me who you are already!" She barked.

"P-P-Persephone," I stuttered.

"Last name?"

"Blackmire."

Her eyes darted to the computer and her fingers tapped the keyboard like lightning. She reached under her desk and pulled out a slip. She filled out the slip, her eyes darting back and forth from the computer to the piece of paper. Finally, she handed it to me.

"Here's your room number," she said. "There's the door." She pressed a button and a door I hadn't noticed opened. "Well?"

"Uh..." I dared to speak. "Aren't you going to lead me around?" The lady's eyes went wide, almost as if she was scared.

"No!" She coughed. "I mean, of course not. Fellow patients will lead you around. Just hand them the paper."

She left through a fit behind her desk, and left me alone.

Here we go, I thought as I walked through the doors with my bags.

Hey guys! So... What do you think? Any ideas on what I should do? If so, just let me know! I'm always looking for help on my stories!
