I just like the song. I guess if you thought about it a lot it would relate to the story? Kinda? Not really? Okay then. It's Pitchfork kids by AJR if you wanted to know but not watch. Ill shut up.

"Rock, paper, scissors!"

"Dam it!" The beret loving boy put his head brown in shame and dropped his scissors down to his lap as the girl to his right playfully hit his hand with her rock. Tucker sighed, crossing his arms to show he wasn't going to play (and lose) again. When Sam raised her hand in the form of the rock to try to tempt Tucker into playing another round, he changed the subject. "Danny was awfully dramatic earlier. So what if we heard a story a million times?"

Sam rolled her eyes and socked him in the arm. "Yeah, but we should have at least humored him. This Dan thing, you remember last time. It's driving nuts I bet."

"Is your boyfriend making you soft?" Another hit was delivered with a combat boot to the leg this time.

After an hour had passed, another island came into view. On the island, a mansion stood dark and proud. In the mansion, a writer was left alone once the master of time sensed that a speeder had arrived at the doors. A pounding knock came from the doors, and the ghost tried his best to ignore it. After a few seconds passed, he had assumed they thought no one was here. The pounding began again, but he also heard someone he had forgotten was on the trip all together.

"Hey Ghost Nerd! You too busy writing fan fiction?"

Ghost Writer closed eyes. He groaned, sliding down his chair and floating down to the floor, an act of a petulant child. At the moment though, he didn't care. The jock on the other side of the doors that he was floating to was one of the most interesting but annoying characters to write. He was so idiotic, it was hard to write a steady personality.

He yanked the door opened and a hand immediately phased through his head. When the man in an orange suit kept his hand through his head a second to long, he took a step back and almost got away with slamming the door on them. The real outcome though, was that the many students and teachers shouted in worried protest of being left out in the open for longer than they have been, and the blonde jock shoved the door back open.

And under his breath, the ghost writer would sigh, and his computers would type the occurring events. He could only mumble, "This will be an interesting chapter."

His glowing green eyes scanned over the many humans at his door, counting twenty two annoying brats. Before another word could come out of the students' and adults mouth, a monotone voice came from the ghost. "So, you finally decided to continue the story? I was worried, for it seemed that for a while that you were stuck in the longest break in history. Not as bad as some other authors I know, but bland enough to make me... add, a bit of, excitement to say."

Ghost Writer walked back towards his computers, slowly floating up higher and higher. Mr. Lancer passed Jack, leading the group into the dimly lit room. The nerds marveled at the sight of so many books in a single room, as even the library back home could never even hold this amount of books. Star and Kwan were silently amazed as well, scared to voice their thoughts.

Paulina stood next to Dash, the two of them looking around in disdain. A sneer graced Paulina's 'oh so perfect' face, and in her high voice, voiced her disappointment. "I thought we were, like, going somewhere cool! This is a loser lair!"  In her mind, Paulina could only wish of meeting the ghost boy instead of being in a.. a... library.

While most of the people stood around in complete awkwardness, six words clicked into Danny's mind. "What do you mean, this will be an interesting chapter?"

Not many students heard the raven haired boy, but his friends, family, and teacher had. The ghost in front of them kept a placid expression as the humans crowded the ground under where he was circling his many typewriters and computers. "I thought it was quite obvious really. I'm writing your story."

Dani remembered back to the speeder, where she had spilt her deepest thoughts. Her anger boiled inside of her, assuming that he had done the same as before to her cousin. "You're messing with our heads? Our actions? For a book? Is his coming back your fault to?"

The adults that once underestimated the power of the Ghost Writer realized the seriousness of the situation. Even Lancer, who had learned all about the ghost in front of him didn't think he held this much power.

The dead author, who had settled into his chair by now, typed away the words and actions being said and done. He didn't glance their way as he spoke in the same monotone voice, "I'm not changing your actions. Just making you take a... different path for lack of better words at the moment. And Dan was to come anyway. I'm writing because a good friend of mine came over to tell me of what was to come. He knows I'm often on the hunt for a good plot, and graced me with your story."

He looked down to them finally, addressing the two Fenton adults directly. "I must say though, of all the paths and plots you could have had, you choose this one. This story is interesting, yes, but really. My mansion? You could have done so much better."  He pushed his falling glasses back up and continued writing.

On the floor, Dani mumbled in a voice only the people around her could hear, and the writing ghost that recorded it all, "What a jerk."

———————————-

Dani floated around in her ghost form still, looking like she was sleeping in the air with her eyes closed and in a lying position, and Small Bob had come into the house unseen to rest on the ghost girl's stomach. Sam, Tucker, and Danny knew better only because of her grumpy grumbling.

Even though Ghost Writer disapproved of their decided destination, he understood that the next five days will also probably consist of the adults trying to find the safest ghosts to visit. And if he wanted a full plot, that means he'd have to house the humans to keep them safe for a few hours before the book would start to get very interesting. So now, many of the students were lounging or sleeping on the few couches scattered around the many bookcases and desks. A few of the nerds were reading the books written by their host. The Fentons had fallen asleep cuddled on a sofa near the corner, and Lancer was walking towards the mysterious trio and Dani.

"And seriously, that man is a selfish jerk that doesn't care for anyone other than himself and his stupid bo-" The young girl that had been rambling on and on to the exhausted teens, finally came to a stop when the teacher came over. She went into a stiff sitting position while still in the air, moving Small Bob onto her lap. She usually was comfortable around people, but mostly when they're more her age, like Valerie a year ago. Plus she found it slightly weird being around him while in her ghost form but Danny wasn't, so she could exactly talk about anything like that around him.

The overweight teacher sensed the direction in which Dani's mind drifted, and clearly Danny could too. "You know Dani, Lancer found out. He's cool with halfas too."

Dani visibly relaxed ever so slightly, and Mr. Lancer sent a smile her way that she gladly returned.

And then the ghost writer thought as he wrote everything down, maybe this stop was useful for something after all.

————————————————-

Dan removed his hands from the weak ectoplasm now floating around aimlessly, which used to be a weak, but 'living' ghost. Its consciousness had abandoned it hours ago. Its weak, but present, mind following soon after. The flaming haired ghost inhaled deeply, and a sinister smile took form upon his face. His chuckled consumed the quiet room behind the door. His small feed from the ghost gave him more strength, more power. He didn't need it really. It was more of a... light snack. The second time late King Pariah had been a delectable dinner. When he finally gets his hands on dessert though, he should never feed again. That won't stop Dan though, from making the entire Ghost Zone and human realm fade.
