When Charlie heard the knock on the door, a surge of emotion flew through her, fear, excitement, wonder, fear again. What if it was Val or someone, what was she supposed to do then, she refused to just hand her friend back to that vicious monster.

Hesitantly she walked over to the door and opened it to see none other than Cherri Bomb standing there. A wave of confusion washed over Charlie as she wondered why Angel's best friend was here; she was sure Val hadn't told Cherri what had happened to him.

"Welcome to the Happy-er Hazbin? Hotel! I'm Charlie, Princess of Hell, what can we help you with today?"

"Hey, Charlie, I'm Cherri Bomb, Angel Dust's friend. I-um-I just-I kind of figured that you guys here would want to help me find some way to stop Da-Valentino. What he's done to Angel has gone way over the top and I'm done with his shit messing with me and my friends and colleagues."

"Uhh, yeah, sure, come on in. Of course we all want to stop Val too, it's just, um. How did you know exactly what happened to Angel? I didn't think Val would've told anyone."

Cherri stepped in and walked with Charlie to her office.

"It's a long story that I really don't wanna get into right now. I don't really know if I can. Wait, how do you know what happened to Angie? Is he here? Val just let him go afterwards? That's really not normal."

"Oh, no no, Alastor-The Radio Demon-went and rescued Angel. Unfortunately, he wasn't quick enough to keep anything from happening and Angel will definitely be scarred for a long time, but at least he's safe."

"Yeah I know he'll be scarred ... I will too..." She trailed off, memories and guilt filling her mind.

"Hey, Cherri, do you wanna talk? I know you don't know me too well, but you seem like something's on your mind and I'm basically the therapist here. Why don't we have a chat?"

Cherri looked at Charlie, confused why she was offering to help her. Nonetheless, she sat down at the princess' desk and began to spill the beans.

Once she was done recapping and explaining very thoroughly that she did not want to do any of it, Cherri decided it was time to start asking for help going against Val.

--

As soon as he was done talking, Angel saw Alastor's face turn to a look of pure hatred. He could only hope Al wouldn't do anything stupid 'cause then he'd probably get a similar fate, which would probably be much more scarring for the asexual that Al was.

"Please, don't do anythin' you'll regret, Al. I can't have ya landin' in the same boat as me." Angel cried as Al's expression turned murderous.

"My dearest Angel, there is no need to fret. I will be perfectly fine. Valentino however, definitely will not be."

The room filled with the sound of Alastor's static as he imagined a million different was to torture and kill the fucked up overlord that had so absolutely horridly ruined his good friend's afterlife.

"Alastor, please don't do shit. Imma go get some water okay? I'll grab ya some too 'cause ya look like ya could use some. Just, stay right here. Okay?"

Angel walked out of the room to go fetch two cups of water. Just as he was passing Charlie's office to get to the kitchen, someone walked out and right into him.

"Oop, sorry." A very familiar voice said. Angel whipped his head around.

"Cherri?!?! Whatcha doi-" Angel couldn't finish his sentence. Just seeing his best friend's face had triggered some serious memories and he crumpled to the floor in a helpless heap.

It's happenin' again! WhatdoIdo?!?!? Jeez I can't even look at ma bestie without bein' dragged to a flashback. Gah- why does it hurt so much?!?!???

"ANGEL?!?!" Cherri felt horrible. He just collapsed when he saw her. Of course she should've known it'd hurt him to see her. She didn't mean to run into him, Charlie said he was upstairs in his room, trying to sleep. What the fuck happened to him? Why was he just laying there and shaking? Was he okay? Cherri's thoughts were all over the place.

Charlie walked out of her office, having quite obviously noticed the commotion just outside the door.

"Angel? Oh Angel, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Charlie knelt down to comfort him, but he was in an unresponsive state, just shaking violently in a ball on the floor.

"Oh Lucifer! Do you think he's okay? What's wrong with him? What did I do to him?" Cherri started to panic, very much struggling with the idea of hurting her best friend for a second time.

The next thing she knew, Cherri was surrounded by all the hotel staff, having heard her shout Angel's name. Alastor had come running and glared at Cherri as soon as he saw her. Once he noticed Angel, however, his expression changed from hatred to pure and utter concern. He scooped the spider demon into his arms and carried him back up to his room, laying him on the bed when they got there.

"Shhh, it's okay my Angel darling. Everything is just fine. You're safe here. I've got you now, you're safe." Alastor whispered calmly to Angel Dust, while gently stroking his back.

--

Cherri figured it was time for her to take her leave. She handed Fat Nuggets (who had been squirming quietly in her arms) to Charlie and left. She felt very guilty and wished she'd just never sold her soul to fucking Val.

--

Just as Angel was finally starting to calm down, the door to his room opened and he freaked out again, fear written all over him. Thankfully it was just Charlie, but that didn't seem to comfort Angel too much. Alastor squeezed him closer, reminding his friend that he was still there and not going anywhere.

Al looked up at Charlie, silently pleading for her to leave. She got the message and sat Fat Nuggets down before leaving the room again. Angel, hearing his precious baby, looked up and a small, tiny smile crossed his face, knowing his pig was there to help comfort him.

"C'mere Nuggzy, come to Mama." Angel called as calmly as he could, his pet quickly jumping onto the bed and snuggling up against Angel.

"Hey, Angel?" Alastor asked after about 15 minutes of still and silence. He looked down to see the furry spider asleep in his lap, Fat Nuggets curled right up beside him. Alastor couldn't hold back a smile as he summoned a book to read until his friend woke up.

--

Cherri wasn't going back to work ever again, she decided. Not for Valentino. She couldn't. It was 10pm, she was supposed to be at work 2 hours ago, but she couldn't even muster the energy to get out of bed. She felt like shit, to put it simply. She couldn't stop replaying the events of the other night in her head. She hated every second of it. She needed an escape. Something good, better than just fighting some random demons. If only Angel were here, they could have a ton of fun and blow some shit up.

She paced her room, trying to come up with some way to escape her life without going back to Angie. Suddenly, an idea popped into her head; she hated it and really didn't want to do it, but it seemed like the best thing for Angie and the others. She had hurt enough people and the only way to stop that was to get rid of her entirely.

Hastily, Cherri searched for a pen and paper and wrote a note once she found some.

To Anyone Who's Ever Met Me:

I'm sorry, I know you cared about me and maybe some even loved me, but I have to do this. I have to protect the rest of you, keep you from getting hurt. The only way to do that is to eliminate the one who keeps hurting you guys, ... me. I really am sorry for everything I've ever done and for having to leave you all this way. I'm not sure what will happen to me once I'm dead again, but I'm about to find out. I love and care for every single one of you who cares enough to read this ... except Val and his gang. Thank you for understanding and I hope you can forgive me.

Your favorite bomb ever,

Cherri xoxo

Tears were streaming down Cherri's cheeks at this point, dripping off her face and landing softly on the paper in her hands. She read it over again, quickly, just to make sure it covered everything before crumpling the paper to a ball in her hand.

Slowly, Cherri Bomb took a deep breath, trying to not only calm herself, but prepare herself for what she was about to do. She closed her eyes. It was time.

Solemnly, Cherri walked to her weapons room and decided not to go out with a bang for once. She picked up her deadliest knife, one made of heavenly gold, and took another deep breath to prepare herself.

She started dragging the blade across her skin with no rhyme or reason, she just wanted to do as much damage as she could. She took one final look around her room and another deep breath, not noticing the small shadow in the corner.

She lifted the knife to her heart area and started to plunge it in, but just before she made contact, the knife flew out of her hand.

** Trigger Over **

"Now now, my dear. I may not know you, but I do know that this will not help anything."

Cherri-confused-looked around and found nothing, not noticing the shadow had grown in size.

"Where are you? Who are you? Show yourself!" Cherri croaked out in fear.

Suddenly, the shadow transformed into a solid figure; none other than The Radio Demon himself, Alastor. Cherri screamed in both surprise and fear.

--

Angel slowly came to, Fat Nuggets still curled in a ball in his arms, but as he looked around he noticed Alastor wasn't there. Where could he have gone and why?
