Lunch wasn't terrible, but it could have been better. I shouldn't complain, though. At least it had flavor. Though being watched by a nurse to make sure I eat everything is something I'm gonna have to try and get used to.

Oh well.

After lunch, we were given medication. I'm stuck on 2 antidepressants I have to take once a day.

After that, me and Bret spent some time outside in the yard.

I liked it here. There gardens and trees some trees, a small koi pond (fenced off for safety precautions), and a snack bar nearby.

Bret and I sat under a tree, overlooking the semi-tranquil scenery before us.

I looked over and noticed he had a lot of bracelets like the ones they gave me.

Only instead of red, green, purple, and blue, I saw also turquoise, yellow, orange, a kind of teal color, white, even pink and black.

"What are all those bracelets for?" I asked.

"Hm? Oh, these? I forgot what most of them meant. But I do know purple is to keep me away from sharp objects or something and I think yellow is some dosage thing for my meds or something about sleep. I don't even remember anymore," he shrugged. "Should be getting some off soon."

I nodded as he looked over at mine.

"I can see they at least let you go outside," he said. "That's kind of a privilege, to be honest. I almost lost that, but Dr. Francis pulled some strings for me."

I nodded. "That's good."

"Yeah. Its not really so bad here. I mean, at least here the staff actually gives a shit whether you live or die instead of some paycheck," he said. "Though some can be a little strict."

"Well, at least they care," I sigh.

I then started to think about River.

I really fucked up. It was so stupid of me to do that.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Bret asked.

I sigh. "How could I do this to River?"

"Who's River?" He asked curiously.

"My brother," I said. "He's the one that found me OD'ed and bloody."

"Damn. Well, at least you guys have parents, right?" He asked.

I shook my head. "Just walked out on us when we were kids. River had to drop out of high school to raise me, and we had to hide from the system until he was 18."

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have asked," He said.

"Nah, its okay," I said. "What about you?"

"It was just me and my dad, but... He stopped visiting me after a while... I don't know why..."

He looked sad as he said that.

I frowned and reached over.

"It'll be okay," I said.

He smiled a bit.

"Thanks," he smiled.

Soon, a man in a doctors coat wslked out. He looked relatively young, but not too young, but I admit was still handsome. His black hair was sleeked back nicely and his skin was pale. His white coat was open, revealing an elegant suit and tie.

He looked a pretty high class guy.

"That's Dr. Francis. He's a cool guy,"  Bret said as he spotted us and approaches.

"Well, I got therapy, and I'm a selective mute. Wish me luck," I mumbled as we got up.

We soon met up with him and he gave me a friendly smile.

"You must be Raven Stone," He smiled.

I nodded a yes.

"Nice to see you again, Dr. Francis," Bret smiled at him.

Dr. Francis looked worried as he looked between me and Bret, and I scrunched my eyebrows.

"Y-You too, Bret. How do you feel?" He asked.

Bret shrugged. "Just sleepy right now. I'll see you later at movie night, Raven."

I nodded, smiling a little as he walked off.

"Okay... Well, are you ready for your session?" he asked.

I shrugged.

"Oh come on now, I don't bite," he laughed.

We then walked in to start our session.

Hopefully it goes by quickly.
