The cooling breeze blew through my mane. I raised my head, and looked down onto Matthew's house. Conda was upset. He stood over near the gate, waiting for some sign on me. Suddenly, he pricked his ears. He whinnied out. He could smell me. LuckyBoy raised his head, and saw me. He neighed. Conda turned, and begin to gallop towards the fence. With the wind in my mane, I turned and walked away. Tango stood by, he had come with me. "Did you see them?" He asked. "Yeah, Conda's devastated. He wants to see me." I reply. We continued walking. He didn't respond. I sighed. Suddenly, we heard a pounding of hooves. We stopped, listening; waiting. A cry of pain echoed through the trees, rumbling through my ears. Without a second thought, I galloped towards it. A cream colt had been taken down; by a bear... I cantered over, sniffing him. His name was Arrow. He was only two, poor boy. His legs still twitched, and he took shallow breaths. "There, there Arrow. I promise you'll be ok." I laid beside him. "Close your eyes, I'll protect you." I whisper. He closes his eyes, and eventually his breathing stops. I stand up, and rest my head on his neck. "I promise, you'll be save." I utter. A roar of anger is heard. Tango is off near the creek, trying to fight off the bear, whom I know as Kuno. He was abandoned by his mother, because of his strange colouring. He had a caramel brown coat, rather than bark brown. Tango was trying to protect a small black filly, who had stumbled. There was only one thing Kuno wanted; me. I had scarred him down his right eye, and now he was half blind. I snorted in anger, reared and caused as much noise as possible. Kuno turned, growling. "You." He spat. He ran towards me. I stood by ground. I had my hooves firmly planted in the dirt, and my neck high. I swished my tail. He got close enough to attack and tried to club me with his paw. I jumped to the side, and kicked him in the side of the neck. He growled in anger. "Look what you've caused! I'm half blind! I lost my territory because of you! Other bears beat me! And now you shall pay!" He snarls. "I'm not afraid of you, and I'm sure as hell not scared to die." He shifted his weight back and stood on two legs. He bit my wither. I screamed and bucked. He lost grip and fell backwards, as my hoof smacked him in the head. He landed with a loud thump. Tango watched carefully, making sure I was okay. Kuno jumped to his feet. He barged into me, pushed me along. I constantly tried to re-gather myself. My hooves just keep slipping. I looked to my side; he was trying to push me into a tree. I now knew what to do. I sprang backwards. He crashed into the tree. His paw at gotten trapped in between to branches. I reared up, and smacked him in the face. He landed hard. He was motionless, but still breathing. "Quick, he's just unconscious." I say to Tango, who walks off with me. The whole herd has scattered. He had to re-gather them. A journey in which I would not join him in. "Thank you for everything, Tango. I've really liked staying with you. Sadly, I should begin my travel home." I say, stopping. "I guess this is goodbye." He replies, resting his head over mine. "Goodbye, Tango. I hope the herd are all fine." He steps backwards. "I will. And you have a good life, remember; give up, give in or give it all you've got."

We go our separate ways. I've been walking for almost two hours now. Through a patch of thick trees, I can see a flat field. I softly and swiftly make my way through the trees. There, is a paddock, with a beautiful running stream. Three horses graze inside it. A bay, a brown and a chestnut. They seem to all be mares. I carefully walk over to the paddock. Hiding behind a large garden, is a cottage. Small, but firm looking. The three mares look up. "Oh, dear." One mutters. "Who is she?" Another whispers. "Be polite." The last, the brown, says walking over to the fence. "Hi. I'm Jules. That's Crossover and she's Falk." She's says politely. "Hi, I'm Amazon. Don't worry, I'm a game horse." I reply, greeting the other two as well. The door to the cottage opens. I'm unsure of who or what they are. A soft 'thump, thump' is heard from the footsteps. An elderly lady walks over to us, followed by an elderly man. I wonder who they are...
