If you're reading this, you have been selected for a dangerous, yet extremely important mission.

We are FADE.

FADE is the Federal Association of Defense Experiments. We have outposts across the globe and outside the globe. This message is being sent from our Head Quarters fifty miles away from the nearest city; the city of Maplecrow.

Now, I wouldn't be entrusting you with such information unless your cooperation was crucial to the existence of all living things in the galaxy.

His name is the Hunter. He is an advanced robotic assassin with practically impenetrable armor, enhanced abilities, and a thirst for blood. He doesn't look or sound like much, but if you didn't consider him a threat, you'd find out soon enough just how wrong you were.

While our experiments are more than capable of taking on a task such as this, the Hunter is expecting them, and will have counter measures already in place. For this plan to succeed, we need people, or other, with skills he has never fought against before. It will give us an advantage, even if only for the first encounter.

Is the entire galaxy in danger of a single assassin? No. He works for a group of super villains, for lack of a better term, dubbed the Callers. With the Call of the Wild at their disposal, plus many other lethal or mind controlling serums and sonar frequencies, on top of their powers and their untraceable whereabouts, they pose a threat to Earth and all planets in this solar system and the next.

The Hunter is just that. A Hunter. And at the top of his list is a local hero by the name of Silver Wolf. Now, you may be thinking; Why would any of this be of any concern to me? Let me explain.

Fear is a key component to any conquering evil. Powerful heroes under mind control, terrorizing the people they once protected. Betrayal, pain, fear, death. Helplessly beaten into submission, the galaxies will cave in and the Callers will reign supreme.

If you think the idea is far fetched, that the mind control can't last forever, you aren't alone. But we've seen it... On a smaller scale of course, but... Heroes that swore to never take the life of an innocent person, manipulated and controlled, forced to do just that. When the Call is lifted, they are left as empty husks of pain and grief, their souls tarnished and battered with what they've done.

If you care even the slightest bit for life anywhere in the universe and beyond, you will answer our call, and help fight against theirs.
