Marinette's P.O.V.

It has been a week since the 'incident' , and things were going back to normal. Plagg has a free schedule so we decided to have a bonding time . We all had different places on where we want to go , so we played rock , papers, scissors  for it . And I won followed by Tikki and then Plagg who came last . I went through my closet , trying to find if the clothes I made last night . There it is .

We're going horse back riding. Since this was a family outing, I couldn't invite my friends over. I quickly changed and went down . Tikki was bringing a picnic basket along with a camera for pictures. Plagg was preparing the car , making sure that we have everything we need .

Once we reached there , the sight was beautiful. One one side , we could see the horse stable and the picnic area , but what caught my attention was the field , it was breathtaking.

Tikki and I got caramel horses and Plagg got a black one . We took some silly pictures , and had a little race around . I felt so alive . I love being free . I never had this much freedom since my duty as a princess was always in the way . I think the last time I rode a horse was when I was 8 years old . My parents would always look at me every second making sure that I wouldn't fall .

I sigh .

"Thinking about your parents ?" , asked Tikki.

" I just miss them so much", I replied.

"They're always watching you kitty", Plagg came up.

"I just wish I know what they were going to tell me before the incident."

"Us too, they said it was really big and it was for your future , but I'm afraid that's all I know ."

Suddenly, Plagg's stomach made a call.

"Really Plagg?"

He just pouted

"Come on , it's time for lunch  anyway "

After placing the horses back at their stables and washing our hands , Plagg was the first to stuff his mouth with food . I was trying to eat without chocking from my food with laughter . Tikki shook her head at Plagg's appetite, while he just ignored her and ate what was in his plate. For dessert, Tikki got her famous cookies and baked goods.

"Hey Uncle Plagg " since we chose a spot far from the others , I can say uncle or aunt . It just feels weird to call them mom or dad after what happened with mine.

"Yah?"

"Are the rumors true that you're going to open a bakery for aunt Tikki?"

"Yup , I just need to do a few more paper work , than it will be open soon."

That's great . Aunt Tikki always loved to bake . I remember once when she babysat me , we made a triple layer chocolate cake and left it for a while to get more sprinkles and marshmallows for decorations. And when we came back , we found it gone with Plagg and a few other chefs and maids in a food coma . When they woke up , they said it was the best they tasted . And ever since , Tikki wanted to open a bakery and make a name for herself.

It was getting late , so we packed our things and left. They day was so eventful and I am so tired . Tikki was already sleeping in her seat and Plagg was still awake from drinking coffee that he accidentally made . He was in a rush and thought he brought chocolate milk , but made coffee instead.

I was about to close my eyes , when my phone rang. Who could it be ?

Unknown number

I was scared, but at the same time , I was prepared. I got an app that cost a few money , but it records all your calls and what you say and also stores messages that were deleted. The perfect app to use. But it was also well hidden. And they wouldn't even know it . The icon has a headphone and microphone. Hiding in plain sight .

I tuned it one and answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Hello princess , I am the murderer of your parents , tell me , how is Paris ?"

"You tell me , I know that you're here "

"Smart , I like that "

"Why are you doing this ?"

"Revenge "

"For what exactly "

"Did you know that I was suppose to be your fiancé "

What?!

"What are you talking about ?"

"Everyday , I see you , but you don't see me . I know you ever since you visited that orphanage "

"You were stalking me since " that was not a question.

"I wouldn't call it stalking , more like watching you without you knowing "

"That is the meaning of stalking"

"But anyway, yes , I was going to be your future husband . See, I send you gifts and I was what you consider a friend , but that was all you see in me ! So I asked for your father's permission to court you , but he refused! So he got what was coming to him ".

I felt sick.

"But when I herd about your arrangement , my thought was , if I can't have you , no one can "

This guys insane ! I quickly hang up. Plagg looked at me alarmed . "Was it him ?" I nod. He grabbed my phone and called Master Fu . "Hey , yeah it's me , I need more guards , he knows she's here ......... Okay ............. Perfect ."

What's going to happen now ?
