Adrien's P.O.V.

I zipped my bag shut. I'm finally going to see my mom after all these years. I grabbed my phone and texted Marinette.

You ready?

As ready as I'll ever be .

I picked up my bag and ran to the limo that was waiting . Gorilla was still void of emotion and Nathalie handed me a book . It was about the rules of being a prince. And it was thick , very , very thick. "You have to study and master all of this before you get there ."

"All of this ?"

"Yes ."

I better start reading then . I was barely half done with the book when the plane started . I sigh . I looked over to Marinette and saw her sleeping . I'm thankful that her dad let us use his private jet .

I picked Mari up and carried her to the bed that was behind the seats we were. I laid her down and covered her with the comforters. Once I was done , I closed the curtains for privacy . Plagg and Father said that we had to bring a minimum of 3 guards . They were now at their seats catching a break.

I turned back to Marinette . Unfortunately, there was only one bed and even though it could fit two people , I don't feel comfortable in doing so . Does she even know about the arranged marriage? I don't know. I just sat next to her and held her while she slept. His mind wondered to his talk with Plagg .

*flashback*

  Marinette was putting away the last of her luggage, Plagg and Tikki pulled him over.

Adrien threw them a questioning glance ." Adrien, we have to tell you something." "Yes?"

Tikki sighs. "Marinette didn't want you to worry ... But someone is after her ."

Adrien's eyes widened. Someone was after his princess ? Well he has to go through him first ." Who is it?"
Plagg looked around to see if Marinette was close , but she went to her room , claiming that she left her phone at her desk. " all we know that he goes by the name 'hawk moth'."

Adrien was quiet in thought for a while . "This explains the extra security." Plagg and Tikki nodded. "Oh , and befor I forget , here " Tikki gave him a medium container filled with warm home made cookies. "Just in case you both get hungry in the flight ."

Adrien took it ,"thank you Tikki."
She smiled and Plagg brought her closer to him, "just promise us that you'll take care of her ."
"I will", he promised.

* End of Flashback *

"While I'm alive , no one will ever harm you " , I said quietly. I kissed her forehead and grabbed a hand and continued reading.

Marinette's P.O.V.

I woke up to see Adrien asleep. It seemed he was only 2 pages from completing the book . I noticed that one of his arm was around me . I blushed and took it of . I sat up and saw how tired he was . I got off the bed and let him lay in it . I covered him with the comforter and stretched .

I looked out the window and noticed that it would take a few more hours before we arrived. I opened the curtains that was used as a divider . I grabbed 5 bowls and made some cereal and got some warm bread and water for me and the guards . They were already half awake when I gave them food .

"Thank you " , they said .

"No problem ", I replied .

I had my tray of food and went back to Adrien . He was still asleep . I smiled and sat down on the floor and ate my food. I grabbed my phone and used my headset to play music. I didn't know what to choose, so I just shuffled them .

Best Friend by Jason Cheng started . I find it funny that we have the same last name . I took my sketch book and began to design my next outfit .

And it came out faster than what I expected. I even had time to make it . Maybe I should were it when we arrive.

I changed and saw that we were going to arrive in an hour . I didn't want to wake him up , but I had to .

"Adrien, wake up."

"Ngah "

"Adrien, please were almost there "

"Mhm"

I am so glad that I brought mint . I took some and kissed him . That seemed to wake him up . "I want more ." He pouted . I giggled, "come on kitty , we're almost there , I mad you cereal and got some warm bread and water ."

He reluctantly got up and went out for breakfast. And it was until there that I realized what I did . Oh my gosh! I kissed him ! On the lips no less. I'm not even his girlfriend and I kissed him and he said he wanted more. Oh my gosh ! Oh my gosh!

I took deep breaths . Calm down Marinette. Calm down . I was finally calm , but I still felt heat in my cheeks . Adrien came back and it was a good thing that I was facing away .

"Uh , Mari , I'm going to change ."

"Oh , right , I'll wait outside ."

I went out avoiding his gaze . He cannot see a tomato faced me. The guards were busy , but just to be sure , I grabbed a book and covered my face , making it look as if I was reading .

Adrien's P.O.V.

After changing , I began to panic .I was freaking out in different reasons. The first was about seeing my mom for the first time in who knows how long and the second was that Mari kissed me ! She kissed me ! I felt as if I'm in cloud 9. I smiled but then frowned . I should ask her to be my girlfriend and I better do it soon.

And as I thought of her , she appeared.

"Marinette will you be my girlfriend?" , I mentally kicked myself. Way to go Adrien , go scare her away . To my surprise she smiled and accepted. I picked her up and hugged her .

This is the best day of my life !
