Chapter 19

[3rd POV]

When the Royal Paladin Knight woke up in his bedroom, he couldn't have felt any more relaxation. After all, there were no more wars that happened and everyone is in peace.

Aichi glanced over to his side and saw Kourin sitting and reading a book. He yawned and stretched his arms as he sat and went closer to her.

"Good morning, Kourin." He greeted and gave a kiss on her cheek.

"Good morning, Aichi." Kourin gave a smile at him and looked back at the book she was reading.

"What are you reading?" Aichi asked, bringing himself closer and looked at the book.

"It's a book about motherhood, I've been wanting to know what it's like to be a mother." Kourin replied, this made Aichi become curious.

"Motherhood? Does this mean you…" Aichi wondered and Kourin nodded, she blushed and covered her face with the book.

Suddenly, Aichi felt excited. He embraced her and both of them let out a set of giggles.

"Remember when I said that I want to become the mother of our children? I want to, and then one day when we're actually ready, I'll do my best to be a good mother." Kourin explained and she put the book on the bedside table.

"That's awesome, I can't wait! I'll make sure to teach them the ways of my swordsmanship! It's going to be so much fun when that happens, Kourin!" Aichi excitingly said as he continues to cuddle with his wife.

"Mhm, I'm excited as well." Kourin replied and she embraced him back.

When Aichi was walking at the hallways of the castle, he met up with Takuto who was also wandering around the castle by himself. Takuto noticed him and stopped in his tracks and spoke.

"Ah, young knight! I've been looking around for you."

"What is it, your highness?" Aichi asked as he looked at Takuto who approached him.

"A letter from the Dragon Empire has been received. We are invited to the wedding." Takuto replied, making Aichi happy.

"That is fantastic! I'll have to inform my wife about this! She'll be thrilled to see her friend in a wedding dress." Aichi said.

Takuto chuckled. "You seem to be in a good mood today, mind if I ask you what set this mood of yours to be positive?"

"Oh, it's a good thing, your highness. Kourin and I both agreed to have children! When we get old enough to be ready, we will have them!" Aichi said. "That is why I'm very happy!"

"Wonderful, your future children will become next in line for the throne. Either that or you would also make them become the next leaders of your clan?"

"I'm fine with both, as long as we raise them into good children."

As time went on, all kingdoms have achieved peace. They lived a good life without war and conflicts.

And now on to the wedding…
