What I thought was a dreamless sleep turned out to be anything but. I was sucked into my past and my nightmares. My heart racing as the thoughts churn around in my mind. 'A monster. A freak. Something to be feared. The Devil...' The thoughts wouldn't leave me.

I was in darkness. I couldn't see anything. I waved my hand in front of my face and still couldn't see it. Suddenly, I saw a light and went towards it. Once I reached there I was standing in the living room staring at my past self. The blood on her hands. The terrified look on her face. Tears streaming down her face. I reached out my hand to her but it slid right through.

"NO!" I screamed and tried desperately to hold onto her. Each time my fingers slipping through nothing as the memory faded. The walls closing in as I shake violently. "No...no no no...." I mumbled and clutched my hands. It really was my fault wasn't it? I killed my own father. My heart threatened to pound out of my chest. The walls turned into shadows and I was surrounded by figures.

"Come on bitch. Hit us! Kill us like you did to him!" A shadow screeched at me.

My breathing came out rapidly as they closed in. I was gasping for air. The closer they got the more I freaked out. "B-b-back away..." I told them shakily. They laughed and pretty soon I was entirely surrounded by dark shadows. I was shaking and crying as they came in closer and closer. "Please...b-back away.." I tried again but they just closed in faster.

"Who's gonna make us?!" A different shadow screeched at me. 

I tensed and pushed my arms out as if I could push them away. The shadows turned into people and they had burn marks on them and broken bones. I froze and screamed loudly. A voice appeared from behind me.

"You see...a monster..." it whispered.

I whirled around in hope of finding the voice but found nothing. Instead a hand landed on my shoulder forcing me to turn around and look dead into the eyes of my dead father. I screamed.
