Clarke's Pov
I walk out of the palace with Amy and four other guards. "Any word from Tom?" I ask her.

She shakes her head. "No not yet my queen." She says and I let out a sigh. "I don't know why he wanted to stay in the village until the commander decided to reply?" I say to her. She smiles. "Well my queen he wants to make sure that your safe and that this nation is too." She says and I smile.

"I know Amy but still he didn't have to it's not like the commander is going to send an army." I say with a chuckle and then look at Amy but she looks down at the ground.

"You don't think the commander would try to send an army here, do you?" I ask with concern. "I'm not sure my queen....but she might." She says and I let out sigh. "Then I have no choice...I know that it might not happen but I rather be safe than sorry.....tell the generals to send for my army." I say. She nods her head then bows then walks away.

I then see Echo with Raven and Octavia walking towards me. "Echo what are you doing?"

"Octavia wanted to talk to you so I was bringing her to you." She says with a smile. I smile back at her. "Thank you." I say then look at Octavia.

"What did you need?"

"I just got a radio call from the radio that Abby gave me before I left and she told me that the commander was there talking to Her about coming here." She says.

"Does my mom know I'm here?" I ask.

"No I didn't tell her anything about you." She says and I smile at that. "Good so is she coming here with the commander?" I ask.

"I don't know she hasn't said anything since then." I nod my head. "Well great I guess I will see my mother a lot sooner than I wanted to but oh well." I say.

"Do you care if we walk with you?" Octavia asks and I shake my head. She smiles and then we continued to walk down the path.

"So how did you end up becoming trikru?" I ask Octavia. She chuckles a bit. "Oh well when we were forming the alliance with them they were training in our camp and I tried to fight this one grounder but he kicked my ass but I never gave up and Indra respected that and she asked me if I wanted to be her second and I said yes." She says with a smile.

"I see." I say with a chuckle. "So now it's your turn how did you get here and how did you out of all people become queen?" She asks. I chuckle at that. "Well after I escaped with Raven we just kept walking or well I kept walking with Raven on my back but anyways we kept walking and then queen Nia found us and she took us in. Echo became Our mentor and about four months after that we became warriors and then I started to study medicine and then....then Nia went into battle with trikru and then She named me the next queen before she died and here I am today." I say looking at the ground. Raven puts her hand on my shoulder. "Nia meant a lot to the both of us and we both lost her." She says. I look over at her and smile.

"I'm so sorry Clarke." Octavia says. I look at her and give her a small smile. "It is what it is." I say looking straight ahead. "I cannot dwell on the past I must keep my head clear so that my people can survive." I say.

She smiles. "I can tell that your going to be a great leader...you were when you were leading the 100." She says. I smile. "That was when life was a bit more simpler." I say and all three of us nod our heads. I then look behind me to look at Echo and I see her looking down at the ground.

"You alright Echo?" I ask. She looks up at me and nods her head. "Come on Echo what's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing my queen." She says and that's when I know something is wrong and I stop walking. I then look at Octavia and Raven. "Could you two give us a second?" I ask. They both nod their heads then walk a few feet away. I then turn back to Echo.

"Now tell me what is really bothering you."

She lets out a sigh and looks away. "It's just there is so many things going on right now....I mean the mountain men are taking our people, we have no grain and there's not enough meat." She says.
I grab her shoulders and bring our foreheads together. "I already have a plan for all that there is no need to worry about anything. I will handle it." I say. She lets out a sigh. "But how?" She asks.

"If the commander wants my help she's gonna have to give me things in return." I say and that's when she removes her forehead and smiles at me. "That's actually a great idea." She says and I smile. "I know I came up with it." I say with a chuckle. She laughs and I grab her cheek. "I love you Echo." She looks into my eyes and then leans forward and connects our lips. After about ten seconds we pull apart. "I love you too." She says. I smile.

"Clarke!" Octavia screams. I run over to her and look at her worryingly. "What's wrong Octavia?" I ask.

"Abby just radioed....her and the commander will be here in two days." She says and that's when I look at Echo and Raven. I then let out a sigh. "I have no idea if they will be a danger. We must be prepared ." I say.

Echo nods her head and so does Raven. I then look at Octavia. "I know your trikru but if things go bad I must know where you stand?" I ask.

Octavia lets out a sigh then looks down. "Clarke your my friend but I can't just turn my back on my clan." She says and I let out a sigh. "I understand." I say walking away. Echo follows me. "Clarke are you ok?" She asks. I shake my head. "I know she had to choose her clan but it didn't make it hurt any less." I say with a tear threatening to fall.

"Will you be ok?" She asks me. "I don't know......but I guess I have to be.....for my people....for you." I say stopping my movement and then looking at Echo.

"I really don't want to fight but I will if I must." I tell her. She nods her head. "No matter what happens I will stand with you." She tells me. I nod my head. "I know you will." I say and that's when Amy comes running over to me.

"What is it Amy?" I ask. "My queen I have told your generals and Part of your army will be
here tomorrow." She says. I nod my head. "Good how many will that be?" I ask.

"150,000." She says. "I nod my head
"let me know as soon as they get here." I say and she nods her head and walks away.
