We soon arrived and Daniel cut the engine of the car.

"We're here," Daniel announced as everyone climbed out.

"You guys live here?" I asked, seeing the large estate house.

"An old friend does, but he let's us stay whenever we tour so we don't have to spend so much on hotels around here," Remington said as we walked and I noticed some people around.

"God, I feel so overdress," I said, fixing my dress as I saw how casual-ish they looked.

"Shy is probably here, she can let you borrow something," Emerson said, then observed me. "Looks like you are around the same size as Shy. If not, me and Remington are pretty small in clothes."

I chuckled as we walked in, and are immediately met with Samuel, Sebastian, and a short girl with black straight hair and dressed somewhat elegantly but not like me.

"Finally, I thought they caught you guys," Sebastian said.

"Barely," Remington laughed.

"By the way, Alex, this is my lovely girlfriend, Shy," Emerson introduced me to the girl as he kissed her cheek. "Babe, this is Alexandra Madelaine Brighton slash Biersack, our new bestie."

Shy and I laughed as we shared a hug.

"Nice to finally get to meet you," Shy said. "The guys have told me so much about you."

"Good things, I hope," I smiled.

"Hey Shy," Remington spoke. "You got something for Lexi to wear that she can borrow?"

"Why of course," Shy smiled before holding her hand out to me. "Right this way."

I smiled and took her hand as she lead me upstairs.

Shy and I are apparently the same size in bottoms and shoes, but different size in shirts, so I ended up borrowing a striped top from Remington that did fit and a pair of blue shorts and boots from Shy.

I kept my make up the same and loosened my hair before we we to join everyone outside, where I then see the boys were setting up, probably to perform a little.

"Over here," Shy said as she took my hand and we headed to a spot near the stage.

Remington and Emerson then came over to us.

"Hey, we decided to do covers the rest of the night," Emerson said.

"You ladies got any requests?" Remington asked.

"Well... I don't know. Alex, you're our guest. What do you think?" Shy asked.

"Hmmm.... Alright, uhh, top of my head, how about a Michael Jackson song?" I shrugged.

"Oohhh, alright," Emerson smiled. "I enjoy your presence more and more."

I laughed as Remington and Emerson hurry back to the stage.

"I'll go get us something to drink," Shy said, and I nodded as she hurried off while I watched the guys finish setting up.

Shy then came back with some margaritas once they finished a quick soundcheck before starting.

"For those who don't know us, we are Palaye Royale," Sebastian said into the mic, and we all applauded. "Now, we're just gonna be covering a few songs mostly, but we'll play our songs, too."

I smiled as then Remington took the stage and spoke into the mic.

"This cover goes out to a special lady in the crowd tonight. Sing along if you know the words," he smirked, winking in my direction.

I blushed as then the music started.

Emerson, Sebastian, Samuel and Daniel started to sing, Remington doing some MJ dance moves on stage, making me laugh as he then started to sing.

I smiled as and laughed as I watched Remington sing and dance across the stage, the others helping him with backup.

I laughed as the crowd cheered and whooped, making me blush as I was helped down, back with Shy as Remington kept singing, looking at me the entire time.

Everyone cheered as the song finished and I smiled daringly before getting up and climbing on stage again, Remington catching me and laughing as I then kissed his cheek, his face suddenly going red as he smiled shyly and hugged me, everyone cheering out and teasing him, his brothers especially taking notice of his blushing face and teasing him.

The band sung a few more songs before deciding to stop.

Once the party started to die down and almost everyone pretty much dropped where they were, Remington and I snuck away to the stables barefoot and went to the pond nearby.

Since it was dark, we depended on our phone flashlights. We held each other's hands before arriving and claiming a spot on a small patch of soft grass before laying down and looking up at the night sky after turning off our flashlights.

There were so many stars out, probably because we were a bit of a long away from the city lights.

"This is probably cheesy, isn't it?" Remington asked.

I chuckled and reached over, holding his hand. "I don't mind cheesy. I think its cute."

He chuckled as we looked at each other. "Thank you for playing knight and shining armor... And for that song. You sung it well."

"Anything to make up for the shit night you were succumbed to before we rescued you," he smiled.

I smiled as he then rolled over so he was facing me, and I did the same, which seemed to bring us closer.

I bushed and looked down, and suddenly Remington slowly reached up, placing his hand on my cheek, gently stroking it with his thumb.

"Alex?" he mumbled with a small smile.

"Yeah?" I asked.

He seemed like he wanted to say something as I looked into his brown eyes.

"What?" I said, placing my hand over his.

He then pursed his lips, before he leaned over and pressed his lips against mine.

I was surprised by his actions, then relaxed into his embrace and kiss him back, placing my hand on his cheek as we kissed.

We then pulled back and I looked up at him, a bashful smile on his face.

"S-Sorry... I didn't know how to say it..." he said. "I really like you, Alex. A lot."

"Yeah?" I asked.

He nodded.

I bit my lip quizzically before smirking and leaning over, kissing him again.

He was taken by surprise and I pull back smiling. "I like you a lot, too."

He smiled as he sat up and I sat up with him, moving closer.

"You've pretty much kept me from losing my shit completely, and always looked out for me, always supported me and treated me right," I said. "No guy has even done half of what you've done for me."

He smiled. "And you're different from all the girls I've even met. Tough, talented, caring.... What isn't there to like?"

I reached for his hand and held it as I looked at him. "You really think that?"

"I know that," he smiled.

I smiled, reaching over to kiss his cheek.

"Alex?" he asked.

"Yeah?" 

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked.

I smiled. "I would love to," I said.

He smiled as we leaned in and kiss again before looking up at the stars, his arms around me as I rested my head on his shoulder.

Life is actually pretty good.

Also, am I the only one who kind of thinks Palaye Royale covering a Michael Jackson song would sound pretty good? I don't know, I'm actually just curious to hear how Remington's voice would sound with Michael's lyrics.
