The afternoon after class I drove straight to the clinic to meet with John and Andy.

Kathy had offered to give my mom a ride so she can be there for me.

I arrived and parked my car, seeing Andy already there with John, a blonde looking guy, and a familiar looking woman who looked like a Forever 21 model with a serious hangover.

Seconds after I arrived, Kathy's car pulled up next to mine.

"Hopefully you weren't waiting for long," I said as I approached them after climbing out.

"A while," the woman snarled at me.

Alright then.

"Oh, you must me my possible stepmother," I said, then smirked.

"God, I hope not," Juliet scoffed.

"The feelings mutual. Doubt anyone would want a cranky Joan Rivers as a step mother," I snapped.

"Excuse me?!" She gasped offendedly as John spat out his coffee and Andy's eyes widen in shock.

"That's enough Alex," my mom's voice and we turn to see Kathy pushing her up the ramp. "Believe me, honey, she's not worth it."

"Well, well," Juliet said, crossing her arms. "If it isn't little Lizzie."

"Still all attitude, aren't you Juliet?" My mom said, looking up at her.

"Cute, Lizzie," Juliet scoffed. "But I'll have you know I'm doing A LOT better than you. Married, wealthy... Oh... And I can walk."

This fucking bitch did not just insult my mother.

"And may be close to having a family, too. Andy and I are also trying for our own child soon," she smiled.

"Wait, I though having sex with animals was illegal," I said, tilting my head to the side.

I swear, if looks could kill, Juliet would have had me decapitated with a  glare at that exact moment.

"Jesus...!" The blonde guy said, covering his mouth in shock as Andy went pale and then John intervene.

"That's enough, everyone," he snapped. "Now, let's go inside peacefully, then go on with our day."

"Oh, uhh, by the way, I'm Beau," the blonde guy said. "I drum for his side project."

"Pleasure," I greeted as we shook hands.

"Well, let's get this over with shal we?" Andy asked.

"Let's," I said as we all walked in.

"Now, results should be ready in a week or more," the nurse said as she neatly placed the labeled vial of blood in the tray.

Alex and I got up and she grabbed her bags before suddenly something fell out as she grabbed it.

I looked and saw what it was, which kind if surprised me.

An inhaler.

She quickly grabbed it and shoved it back in her purse, looking at me with a stern yet worried look.

Wait.... Alexandra is asthmatic?

She then sighed as I kept looking.

"My immune system is all messed up, and sometimes my lungs don't work right," she said. "This is just in case I suddenly get an asthma attack, but its been a really long time since my last one."

I frowned and nodded. "How long has it been?"

She pursed her lips. "When I was 15. Other times its just coughing or wheezing, but its not too severe as it was when I was little."

I nodded. "Well... Be careful..."

She looked over at me with furrowed brows, before her face relaxed.

"Umm... Thanks," she said with a nod.

We then signed some papers before leaving to meet with everyone.

"Well?" Beau asked.

"Results will come in about a week, give or take," I said.

"We'll call you when we get them," Alexandra said.

"Alright. We need to get going back to the bus," John said.

"Right," I nodded, then faced Alexandra and Liz. "Guess this is goodbye."

"For now, depending what the outcome is," Alex said.

I nodded. "Take care of yourselves," I said. "And if you need anything, just call me."

"We'll be fine... But thank you," she said.

I nodded as we all exited the clinic, heading ou seperates.

"I can't believe this," Juliet snapped.

"Jules," I sighed as we climbed into the car.

"Oh, don't even Andy," she snapped. "Don't even!"

(A/N: I feel like a jerk for putting this line, and don't regret it😂😂😂)

I groaned and she continued.

"I just want to know when the hell did you fucked Elizabeth Brighton, of all people!?" She snapped.

I sighed. "It was after that break up we had. I was drunk after a show and.... It just happened in a blur," I said.

She grunted and looked away. "Fucking brat even had the nerve to talk to me like that... Unbelievable."

I sighed and looked out the car window.

At least tour ends in a few days.

So, I saw how Jake and Inna (ÆLONIA) covered the song "Crawling" by Linkin Park, as a tribute for Chester Bennington.

Honestly, they both did pretty good, and in my opinion Jake is totally underrated as a singer.

HOWEVER, only one thing went through my mind watching that cover and it was this:

So, people will say Inna is a terrible singer and stuff when she's just controlling her voice, yet will listen to Juliet Simms's breaking and croaking voice and say she's an AMAZING singer????????????

Like, OKAY, Inna isn't exactly the GREATEST singer alive or whatever, I'll confess that, but she is definitely SO much better at singing than Juliet is.

Seriously, this just confuses me. 😕
