*Andy*

Some time passed but it was still hard to believe it was true.

I'm a father. Alexandra is my daughter.

It all feels like a dream.

The day we recieved the results I stayed to get to know Alexandra for a day. We went to lunch and then just spent the day at her house, all jsut talking.

She's everything you would expect from a Biersack, including stubborn.

She looks a lot like Liz, minus the blue eyes.

She's currently studying for music production and physical therapy, loves some of the bands I grew up to. She also loves reading and played in the girl's hockey team in her high school for a while, but decided after a few months that she liked volleyball better.

Alexandra soon finished her semester and was going to spend three weeks with me, just until her next semester starts.

Since I will be touring during then for BVB, once her semester begins, she'll be flying back to Altlantic City.

Also means the guys will meet her. They were made aware of everything, which surprised them.

CC and Jinxx offered to come pick up Alex with me to meet her, also since they wanted to see Liz, mostly Jinxx since he knows her more than CC.

We soon arrived to the house and knocked on the door.

Keeping my word, I hired another nurse to help Liz's current one while Alexandra is gone.

The door opened and Alex stood there.

"Hey," she said, brows furrowed as she saw CC and Jinxx.

"Wow, John wasn't kidding," Jinxx said with wide eyes.

"No shit, its like looking at little Andy Sixx with a wig on," CC said.

"What the hell is Andy Sixx?" I asked. "Isn't it Nikki Sixx?"

"Funny story, we'll tell you later," Jinxx said.

"Hey," I said offensively.

"I'm guessing you two are in his band?" Alex asked.

"The name's Christian, but I also go by CC, Ceeses, Chuppy, or Chris," CC said excitedly as he shook Alexandra's hand energetically. "Take your pick."

Alexandra laughed at his hyperactivity.

"I'm Jinxx," Jinxx said as he introduced himself.

"Alexandra, or any nickname that derives from it," Alex shrugged with a laugh. "Nice to meet you two. Come on in."

We all stepped in just as Liz rolled her wheelchair into the living room from the kitchen.

"Jinxx, is that you?" She greeted happily as they saw each other.

"My old friend," he laughed as they both hugged.

"I should have at least told you that I was leaving," Liz said as they pulled back. "How's Sammi doing?"

"Didn't end too well. She lives in Europe now, though," Jinxx shrugged. "I met Alice some time after we split. You'll love her."

"Can't wait to meet her," Liz chuckled. "And I believe I also remember Christian Coma over here."

"Good to see you again, Lizzie," CC said as he also shared a hug with Liz. "Ashley and Jake are hoping to see you, too."

"I hope to see them as well," she smiled. "Though right now I'm a bit stuck with my new ride here."

"Heard about that. So glad you and your daughter lived. I'd have lost it on the spot if I heard one day that one of you or both of you died," Jinxx said.

"Thank you, Jinxx," She smiled as then Humphrey hopped into Alexandra's arms.

"By the way, Alex, if you want, you can take Humphrey with you," Liz said.

"Wait, what?" She asked in shock as she held him.

"He's your companion," Liz smiled. "You should take him along. I got his paperwork done already, its in my top drawer in my room."

"But won't you be lonely?" Alexandra frowned.

"Oh please, I've got two good nurses here, I'll be alright, honey," Liz said. "Plus I'm sure Andy won't mind. He's got cats at home, right?"

"Umm, yeah, its no problem," I shrugged with a smile. "I'm sure Crow and Femme would love to have a friend."

Alexandra furrowed her brows as she looked down at Humphrey, but then smiled. "Okay... But if I go next time, he stays."

"Of course," She smiled.

"Should probably get going. Are you ready, Alex?" CC asked

"Uhh, yeah, my luggage is already in the hall if you want to get it. The duffel bag and purse is a carry-on, so you can just leave it," I said.

"Got it," he nodded as he headed down the hall.

"Andy," Liz said, and he turned towards us.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Remember what I said," my mom said sternly.

He pursed his lips. "I promise, Alex is in safe hands."

My mom nodded as Andy went ahead to help CC and Jinxx with my luggage.

*Alexandra*

Soon it was time to leave and I took a deep breath as I held my breath and let it out in a heavy sigh.

This is it. These next few weeks will just be me and my father.

My first time outside Atlantic City since after the accident.

Yesterday I saw my grandmother before she left.

*flashback*

"Los Angeles? How exciting!" My grandmother said. "That's across the country, right?"

"Yeah," I sighed. "But I still worry. I'll also be on tour. I mean, eventually people will know I'm related to a rockstar, and I'll probably end up on some cracked-up rockstar version of the Kardashians! My stepmother might as well be Kris Jenner...."

"Oh, I'm sure it won't be that chaotic," She said. "I'm sure somehow everyone can get along."

"Doubtful," I sighed. "Though... She seems a bit too obsessed on being with my father and his career...."

"Sounds suspicious... What was her name again?" She asked.

"Juliet Simms," I said. "She was in some band before leaving it after almost winning some award show."

"Sounds strange," she said. "It does sounds like this father of yours could also be in trouble...."

"He might... I did research on that woman," I said. "She's a Scientologist... Grams."

"Oh... That does sounds a bit serious," she said in a grave tone. "What is it?"

"Its some crazy cult formed by a bunch of psychos in the 50's or something," I said. "There are people whose families are split apart, and... And people are even killed for being against it."

"Oh my goodness," My grandmother gasped in shock.

"Yeah. I have a feeling she probably dragged my father into it, too...." I said. "Its supposedly a rumor, but..... I'm actually scared about it. I haven't told my mom, though."

"Hmm.... There's no need to tell her. I know you wouldn't succumb to such a thing," she said, reaching over at her nightstand and taking her ornate little wooden box in her hands, opening to reveal an antique rosary.

"Your grandfather gave this to me on our wedding anniversary, long ago," she said. "Take it, for good luck."

(Picture: Alexandra's grandmother's rosary)

"But..... You'll forget...." I frowned as she placed it in my hands. "And this means so much to you. Besides, I'm not as religious as you...."

"So long as there's hope, we'll both be alright. I'm already forgetting so much... And eventually I will be weak... Trust me, you will need it more than I do, my dear... I have hope in you," she said sadly. "But do remember this.."

I pursed my lips and listened.

"A heart with good intentions will be the light that guides anyone from the darkness."

I furrowed my brows. "What does that mean?" I asked.

"You are wise... You'll eventually know," she smiled

I pursed my lips before clutching the rosary in my hands and hugging my grandmother.

"I love you, Grams," I said. "I hate that once I leave you might forget me, but I'm always going to remember you no matter what."

She laughed and hugged me back. "I will eventually remember everything. But I love you, too."

*end of flashback*

I wish I knew what she meant exactly...

I sighed. Why is Alzheimer's even real?

I turned to see my mother at the door smiling at me.

I then walked up to her.

"Humphrey isn't friendly with other cats," I said. "He makes sure he's superior when there's other cats..."

"I know," she laughed mischievously. "But Andy and Juliet don't."

I laughed. "That's evil."

"We all gotta be a little evil sometimes," she smiled as she then held my hands.

I held them back tightly.

"Stay in touch... And don't let anything negative get to you," I said.

I nodded before sniffling and pulling her into a hug.

"Don't cry.... This isn't goodbye, honey," she said.

"It feels like it," I said.

"Well, its not," she said, pulling back and holding my face. "You can always come back whenever you want."

I nodded as she then perked up.

"Oh, and... I also saw you were leaving this," she said, reaching into her pocket and pulling out my inhaler.

I sighed. "I don't think I need it... Its been years, anyway," I said.

"I just want you to be safe. Its just in case," she said, putting it in my purse. "Besides, Andy smokes. I don't want you going down because of his second hand."

I pursed my lips and nodded. "Okay... But I doubt I'll really need it."

My mom nodded before taking my face in her hands and kissing my forehead.

"You've grown so much," she said.

"I'm gonna miss you, Mom," I said as I hugged her.

"I'm gonna miss you, too, Alex," She said as she hugged me back tightly. Whatever happens, call me."

I nodded as I kissed her cheek.

"Hey kiddo, we're ready!" CC called out as my luggage was moved to the car.

I took a deep breath as I hugged Kathy, too, and them waved goodbye as I headed towards the car, stuffing my duffel in the back next to Humphrey's carrier, him in it, as me and CC climbed into the back. Andy was in the driver's seat as we waved goodbye and pulled away.

I took a deep yet shaky breath.

"Hey," Jinxx said, making me turn to him. "L.A. has its ups and downs, but overall its a nice place."

"Plus you got us," CC smiled, patting my back. "Lizzie's our friend, so you can bet your ass we're gonna make sure her daughter is treated better than royalty."

I laughed. "Thanks, it actually does make me feel a little better," I said.

"No problem," Jinxx smiled.

Then remembered something. "So, someone explain to me this Andy Sixx thing?"

CC burst out laughing as Jinxx spun around. "Get comfy, its story time!"

"I WAS A TEENAGER!!" Andy protested. "Why must I be ridiculed this way?!"

I laughed as then I was told about it.

Maybe it won't be THAT bad after all.
