AHSOKA TANO

Ahsoka slowly opened her eyes. She saw Lux standing in a corner of the room and Anakin sitting next to her. Both looked overtired and overly concerned. She groaned a little, chasing away the last of a drug-induced sleep, and causing both of them to look at her.

“Anakin, Lux… What happened to me?” she asked them.

“You fainted,” said Lux, to which she gave him a dirty look that conveyed, I do NOT faint, so he corrected himself. “Excuse me, blacked out, and the medical droids have just finished treating you.”

“How long was I out?”

“Five or six hours. No big deal,” replied Anakin, but Ahsoka could sense deep relief from both of them.

“You were both worried for me, weren’t you.”

“Yeah. But you’re safe now, and that’s all that matters,” said Lux soothingly.

“Can we go out to the bridge?” she asked. “I don’t like these surroundings much.”

“All right.” With Ahsoka leaning on both of them, they made their way down the hallways and out to the bridge. Obi-Wan looked surprised to see her out of bed so soon, but said nothing.

Going up to the viewport, they watched the endless, starry galaxy that was their home with new eyes. Hugging her two special friends tight, Ahsoka thought about her vision, and its meaning. I don’t need to think about it right now, she thought to herself. It’ll all turn out okay. I know it will. I just know it will.
