Ben’s POV (Point of View):
Ever since I was Ben, my life was never easy. I had a terrible childhood because of my biological father, or just say by his name, Chris. He was a heavyset, angry man and never showed me his fatherhood. He never drank but just being ‘responsible’ for the family. But he was also evil and masterminded as well. My family and me were his slaves, especially my mom. She had to bear her pain for so many years that she couldn’t live for long. She gave birth to my old sisters and me, but that didn’t satisfy him. He hooked up with women despite with his old ages, later had a son, my step-brother. But I never knew!
My family (including mom, my sisters, their children, my grandmother…), yeah, big family. I remembered being such a weak, useless, pathetic boy who would never become a strong man because of Chris. I was having low self-esteem, which letting me to harm myself every day, even if my family tried to stop me but it was no use. I wished I had wanted to die but it never came true anyway, perhaps God might have sent me for a reason, that would shatter his ego. But I didn’t know that. However, when Chris went somewhere else, I decided to try arts (music, writing, etc.) and watch some animes, movies, etc. I was fond of that, especially crimes, murder mysteries (which could be a good use to expose Chris.)
I had relatives who used to be his ‘victims’ that was also abused by himand they supported me for the future so that I never ended up being a regretful person, waiting to die. I would be glad for them.
