Kirt’s POV:
I was in the ambulance, I mean we were in the ambulance because Ben was lying lifeless like dead, he was still breathing but he could barely breathe, I was looking pity at him holding his soft right hand while Tucker was holding his other hand, putting on his face and crying. It took like forever to get to the hospital. We rushed down to push him to the Operation Room. Then we headed to the reception to fill his form, I was shaking my hand a lot, really hard to write, but thank God Tucker did it for me. Wow! A while later, the doctor went out, she was really rushed.
“Hey, I need your help. Ben is losing a lot of blood. We need
one of your bloods to donate him.”, she explained in horror. “What’s his blood type, doctor?”, Tucker asked. “He has a rare blood type, O. I’m afraid.”, she said. I was glad my blood was O type. So I ran to the her “Doctor, my blood is the same type. Maybe, this will work.”, I said. “Good, come with us.”, without a moment, we quickly went to the laboratory to get my blood. It took like five minutes to get my blood out. Then they took the bag and ran to the room.
Then the doctor came out with a relief on her face. We rushed to ask her about his condition. “Woah, woah, slow down! Ben was not injured heavily, but his stomach was hurt but we took the bullet out, also we had bandaged his wounds, so he’s out of danger. But, he should be practiced walking, or else the stomach will pain him more. Oh and he’s in room 515”, she explained and we thanked her.
Ben’s POV:
I didn’t remember what happened after that, but I could hear gunshots, sirens and voices. When I regained my consiousness, I woke up to see a white place, like blank. Am I already in heaven? Then I looked around to realise that I was in the hospital, I got up but my stomach was really painful, thank goodness the two love birds came to me and helped me. “Woah, Ben, don’t get up yet, just relax, everything’s fine.”, Kirt said then he looked at Tuan. “Hey, can you keep an eye on Ben for me, please? I’ll head to the shop to buy some food and medicine.”, he said then ran away, leaving me and Tucker alone in this quiet room.
Tucker’s POV:
After Kirt reminded me, he went away. Great! This is my chance to talk to him.
T: Hey, everything will be aright. Your step-brother is dead. You don’t need to worry.
B: T-Thanks, Tucker. But I made you both worried, right?
T: Yeah, if you could say that.
B: I’m sorry, that I have to sacrifice for you.
T: No, no, no. It’s not your fault. It’s our fault not be able to protect you. Can you forgive us?
B: (shook head) No. It’s not your fault, I know. Forget about it!
T: Thank you, Ben! So, about Kirt, you love him a lot, right?
B:I… uh… I-I.
T: I know. You do love him!
B: Y-yes. I’m sorry Tucker but Kirt is the one who always be my side.
T: I-I don’t know.
B: We were best friends and now, we’re like boyfriends.
T: I see. So, can we be best friends? Despite all of this?
B: Of course I will. Best friend!
T: Then can you say ‘I love you’? Just once and can we kiss after that?
B: O-ok! I love you!
Then I came near him and lock our lips together. I was a fast but soft, sweet, passionate kiss. Our tongues were dancing until Ben pulled out, reaching for air. I hope Kirt didn’t know about this. He was in his tomato face, trying to hide his cutey face. I came and hugged him so that he could calm down a bit.
And, then we quickly backed off when Kirt arrived.
