Jessica and the others came to Mary and Noah's house at 5:00 PM.

"Omg! It's such a beautiful mansion!" Jessica exclaimed as she entered the house.

"I know right!" Lucas agreed.

"Why do you live at such a disconnected place, inside the forest?" Shirley asked.

"Uh...This house was bought by our parents as a holiday mansion, that's why it's built here, and we moved in when we left our old town" Mary explained.

"So guys, let's see their whole house first. I bet it must be very beautiful from inside too, " Lucas said.

They entered the kitchen, it was very huge and stunning with white marble tiles and a platform. There were many beautiful windows and a big black dining table in the middle of the room.

Jessica immediately went to the kitchen to fetch something to eat.

"Mary, there is nothing in your fridge!" Jessica said, shocked.

"We have some food in these polybags. Since we moved here some days ago so we didn't get time to buy something so we just brought the food kept at our old home, " Noah said.

Jessica went to the dining table and took out some cans of cold drinks and some chips, while getting the junk food that she desired, one tiny piece of paper fell down along with all the items.

Percy picked up the paper and was surprised.

"This bill is from today, you told us that you brought all these things from your old home, and how come these cold drinks and snacks have just been bought if you brought them from the place you used to live?" Lucas questioned with a hint of confusion.

"Um.." Mary was cut off by Noah who was standing near the living room window.

"Guys come here! There is a peacock! Come fast!" He shouted.

"But Noah was standing just beside me a moment before!" Shirley said but no one except Percy heard her because they all were busy with Noah.

"Yeah, I noticed that, " Percy said.

All of them ran to the window to look at the peacock.

"Where is it?" Shirley asked.

"It was just here. Maybe you were late and it went away while you came, " Noah said.

"Anyways, Jessica, will you come with me? I want to show you something!" Mary said.

"Yeah sure, " Jessica smiled.

Mary took Jessica to her room. It was as big as the kitchen. But surprisingly, there was no bed there.

"You don't have a bed?" Jessica asked, wide-eyed.

"No. It was too heavy to shift with all the other stuff so it will come tomorrow, " She lied.

"Oh. So what do you want to show me?" Jessica asked.

"Come here," Mary said.

As Jessica came near the her, Mary held her arms tightly and bent down closer to her neck before piercing her fangs through the soft flesh. Didn’t matter how much Jessica tried to scream because Mary had put her hand over her mouth forcing her to keep quiet.
