Growing up with seven sisters, Jaune took up cooking to help out around the house. Over the years, his skills were top notch, but he had to stop because his mom and sisters started to gain weight quickly because of his semblance.

In Beacon, Jaune cooks a meal for the two teams, and the six girls, especially Pyrrha, are hooked on his cooking. As romance blossoms, and hundreds of pounds are gained with no sign of stopping, Jaune can only wonder; why him?
