When you noticed how sparce the marketplace of Rinde was, you knew exactly who would be the one behind it. There weren't any clear signs that Yennefer was behind the fact that half the townspeople were gone, but you knew she was in town and that meant it couldn't just be a consequence. You had been friends with her over the years and although you didn't see eye to eye on every matter, you had managed to stay close no matter how much time you spent apart, meaning you knew when she was around, even if she did everything to cover her tracks.

It didn't take you long before you found where she had been hiding out, only to find that even if she wasn't leaving her explicit trail, she certainly wasn't hidden away. When you entered her home, you quickly found where she was amidst a scene you never thought nor wanted to witness. The missing townspeople were all there, but seemingly not imprisoned, at least not by physical chains, rather entwined with one another committing illicit acts that they were unlike to do if in their right minds.

You didn't want to see the people of the town in such explicit acts but there was nowhere in the room to look without an intimate view of the butcher or the baker or the candlestick maker. You tried to focus your eyes on the only other fully closed person in the room- Yennefer. She sauntered towards you, a sultry look from below her lacy black mask. As she reached you, her sharp nails trailed across your cheek as she attempted to caress the plump skin.

"I did hope you would join us," she crooned.

You took a step back to remove the contact from her.

"What are you doing?" You questioned. "What is this?"

A content smirk curled upon her lips. "You're jealous, aren't you?"

You couldn't help but scoff at her comment. It felt as though bile rose in your throat as you thought about what she was doing to the innocent people, using their minds and bodies for her own enjoyment without consideration of her victims lives.

"What is there to be jealous of?" You said. "You shouldn't do this, Yennefer, they are innocent people."

Nonchalantly, she rolled her eyes. "Look around, there is little innocence anymore."

Yennefer flaunted her hands around to the people forced into the unspoken acts around the two of you.

"You are no longer the Yennefer I once knew," you said in a pained whisper, now lost to where the woman you had called your friend had gone.
