*Yawns as she wakes up*

Me- Hello, world! What a beautiful day!

World- *sweetly* Hello~! Just a question from all your angry fans- WHERE THE FUDGE-POPPING HELL HAVE YOU BEEN YOU ANNOYING RUNAWAY WRITER YOU!?

Me- ...Don't yell. :-(

Yes. I know. Don't look at me like that. Let me just take a deep breath before I begin. *takes a deep breath*

I understand that it has been over a year (?) since I updated 'The World's Meet'. I also understand that many of you are very angry/upset/maniacal over me not updating and also because 'The Past reads the Future: Myth Reading-The Lightning Thief' has been removed from Wattpad. For the former, I really have no excuse except exams and laziness so I suppose I will take every threat, insult and rage-fit you throw at me. I was actually going to use the excuse of Hera putting me to sleep for her evil selfish reasons (torturing impatient fans) but then I realised- Why lie? I'm so freaking sorry guys!

For the latter, well it was some sort of copyright issue (maybe I should have kept the page-long disclaimer for that story?) Wattpad is such a meanie. D: Anyhoo, I'm back now and I will try my best to satisfy your unending thirst for chapters. Even though I don't know where I'm taking this story. And most of my fans and readers have probably quit on me and left me.

I wanna cry. T.T

Still, I hope you enjoy anyway. It's a sad chapter though (Percyyyyyy~! T.T). Also, I will start the disclaimers again starting next chapter. I know many people want to be in the disclaimers but I'm in a bit of a disorganised state of mind. Can you please give me your requests in messages, guys? Along with a description of your characteristics and even your favorite characters from both series. Thank you! And do send me any requests. Constructive criticism is always appreciated.

I'm writing a new story. Do you mind checking it out maybe? It's not fanfiction, it's chicklit-ish. 'Tickle Me Pink.' Check it out, if you want.

Anyway, read on!

Disclaimer- No own PJO or HP.

Harry POV-

“Percy is missing.”

Just saying this, I should’ve known what the reactions of all the demigods would be. Still, it was unexpected.

On their faces ran a variety of emotions. Shock, consternation, grief, denial... but worst of all- a lingering suspicion as they stared at the wizards who had delivered the news.

We had looked everywhere, of course. The students and demigods alike had swept the entire castle of Hogwarts. George and some other older wizards along with Hagrid’s knowledge had even crossed and looked around in the castle grounds and in the nearby villages- muggle and wizarding alike.

But Percy Jackson was nowhere to be found.

The worst part was the way this whole incident made the wizards look- careless, disorganised and even a tad bit suspicious. What are the odds that the same day a large-scale international magical exchange takes place, a demigod was found missing in a wizard’s dorm?

I couldn’t help asking this either. And I was sure that running through the demigods’ minds were the same doubts.

Evening and still no Percy. The entire mood of the castle was nervous and jittery. The younger students continued with their daily activities, not suspecting for a second that anything was wrong. But  me and the others knew. McGonagall was a nervous wreck and even Chiron was being summoned to the castle.

I got together with Hermione and Ron and slowly the three of us walked up the winding stairs towards the headmaster’s office where a meeting was underway...

The tension in the room could be cut with a knife. That was the only description I could come up with to describe the mood in the circular room.

I myself had never seen so many people gathered in the headmaster’s office before. McGonagall sat at the head in the chair where Dumbledore used to previously sit, her head resting on her arms. The campers from Camp Half-blood sat on one side in the armchairs while the wizards on another side, facing each other. The whole scene just spelt out wrong.

There was also a deep sense of foreboding in the atmosphere. McGonagall sighed deeply. I almost felt sorry for her: to be in-charge of this whole mess, just when Voldemort had been defeated and the castle rebuilding was underway? It was like one crisis after another.

“We have a problem.”

Meanwhile...

“Juno!” the blonde-haired boy yelled in pain as a searing pain hit him, “Juno! What’re you doing to me!?”

Be silent, little hero , the regal voice purred, The more you struggle, the more the pain.

After a while, he stopped experiencing any pain. It was like his body had run out of any as he grew numb. He couldn’t feel, couldn’t walk, couldn’t speak...

His eyes, though, glared openly at the haughty goddess in front of him. The only question in them- Why?

Forgive me Juno said with not a hint of apology in her eyes But where you are going, you will feel more pain than that. Much more. Think of it as preparation for what’s to come. Form new allies, new enemies and complete your quest to save Hera. That is your duty. And of course, ultimately sacrifices will be made.

Her eyes glinted coldly.

Just remember to get your priorities straight.

Some feeling crept into the boy’s body but mostly because of the rage he felt at these words. He coughed out a single bloody word.

“No.”

Juno laughed coldly. Oh, but it’s not a request, little hero. Her smile faded. It’s an order.

And now Jason Grace, she continued, staring into the boys startling blue eyes which reminded her so much of the eyes of her husband’s.

Forget.

Harry POV-

This was chaos.

What was supposed to be a meeting to discuss what was to be done about Percy’s disappearance had transformed into a full-scale one-sided shouting match between Clarisse and me. I don’t think I need to specify which side was shouting.

“YOU SHOULD’VE BEEN MORE CAREFUL!” Clarisse shrieked at me, anger emanating out of her like heat waves, “HOW THE HELL CAN YOU NOT NOTICE WHEN A GUY WHO’S FUCKING SLEEPING IN THE SAME DORM AS YOU IS KIDNAPPED!? HAVEN’T YOU LITTLE MAGICIANS BEEN TAUGHT EVEN THE TINIEST BIT OF VIGILANCE IN YOUR STUPID SCHOOL!?”

Okay. Even though she was probably right, she didn’t have to go so far to insult and accuse Hogwarts and us. The other campers were just sitting there in dejected positions while Clarisse continued in her yelling spree.

“AND YOU!” she shouted, pointing at McGonagall who looked up, slightly startled, “I THINK I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS WHOLE LITTLE EXCHANGE IS ABOUT! YOU WANT TO DIVIDE US, DESTROY US AND ULTIMATELY TAKE OVER OLYMPUS! DON’T THINK I DON’T GET WHAT ALL THIS SHIT IS ABOU-!”

She was interrupted by a hand on her shoulder. I stared behind her to look at (and applaud) the brave soul who had tried to stop angry Clarisse. Then realization hit me like a load of bricks.

Annabeth. Percy’s girlfriend. Right.

“Stop it, Clarisse.” she muttered, “We’re here to devise ways to find Percy. Not yell at them.”

Clarisse’s eyes softened as she looked down. “I’m sorry. Annabeth.”

She glanced towards us, bowed her head and sat back down.

“Sorry. I don’t know what came over me.”

There was an uncomfortable silence. I glanced over at Annabeth and surveyed her state. She looked terrible. Her blonde hair was awry all over her face and her grey eyes only held an icy resignation. During the entire meeting, she hadn’t looked up once until she intercepted Clarisse. Her eyes looked like somebody had sucked the life out of them. She’d even handled the news that Percy was missing with blank, emotionless shock. I didn’t know whether or why she was hiding her emotions

Also, as far as my knowledge, in the entire course of the day she hadn’t even cried once.

“Anyway”, McGonagall said, shifting uncomfortable. I’d never seen her before looking so unconfident and uncertain. “I think we should first start by looking at all possibilities as to where Percy Jackson could’ve gone missing.”

“He’s not around here, like around Hogwarts and its surrounding areas”, Rachel said solemnly, “I just, I can’t sense him out here. I usually can. But now, it feels like there is a fog. I can’t see any further. The Oracle doesn’t even seem to remember what Percy looks like.”

“Alright” McGonagall said, regaining some of her confidence again. “At least we can rule out anywhere in the castle and all the wizarding communities. As I said though, we should look at all the possibilities if we want to know his whereabouts. Was he kidnapped? Maybe he went by his own will? Maybe he has been harmed. If that’s the case though, we really must hurry otherwise he can...” she stopped, casting an uncertain glance at the demigods, “...di-”

McGonagall couldn’t complete her sentence though. She was stopped midway with Annabeth suddenly getting up and startling everyone around her. She was looking down with clenched fists, her hair covering her face.

“Excuse me.” She mumbled and was out of the room before anybody could say anything.

Shit. Katie got up. “Um,” she said awkwardly, “I’ll go...”

I don’t know what came over me but suddenly I stood up. “No, I’ll go.”

The campers raised their eyebrows at me. I knew what was going on in their minds. I hardly knew Annabeth, what the hell was I going to say to make her feel better? But I had a hunch that she was going through the same stuff I had gone through. And more than anyone, for some reason, I felt I understood where she was coming from.

For some reason, I felt I owed it to Percy to make her feel better.

Poor Annabeth. Poor Jason (although I don't like him that much). Next chapter will have more Percy and more Voldemort too (disclaimer and canon!)

Toodle-oo!
