Nico - Nine

Nico watched as the injured boy shot up form his cot. Having watched Will move and turn for the past half hour, he winced.

"Careful." He warned lightly from the corner of the room.

Will shot him a death glare. His eyes full of unshod tears as his hands slowly touched his injured shoulder.

"Why do you care?" He spat, grinding his teeth to stop him from crying out.

Nico couldn't help but smile.

"I saved you for a reason. Right?" He told Will with a smirk. Will raised an eyebrow, still frowning. "And why is that?" He questioned harshly.

Nico sighed, reach behind him.

He then pulled out a gun.

"I'll shoot you if you don't join up with me." He stated bluntly.

Will's eyes widened at the sight of his gun.

"And what if I say no?" He asked stupidly.

Nico almost face palmed into his gun hand.

"Then I'll shoot you and you'll have more than just a few broken bones to have healed." Nico told him. "You're not gonna kill me?" Will asked hesitantly.

Nico gave a short chuckle.

"Only if you don't kill me." He shot back. (Wow. I wasn't trying to make a pun. But I think I did. A guy with a gun, shooting back a comment)

Will looked at the gun with caution, still sitting on the cot.

"Okay." He paused, "I'll join you." He stated, making Nico softly smile.

"See, that wasn't to hard!" Nico said, putting his loaded gun back behind him.

"One one condition!" Will exclaimed, making Nico sigh. "Shoot." He stated. (Another pun you say? Why yes. I believe it is!)

"I get to live here. With you. Personally getting to know you, and you don't kill me in my sleep because if it." Will told Nico, "Do we have a deal, Death?" Will questioned, spitting the nickname Nico had been given like venom off his tongue.

Nico shrugged.

"Okay. But just so you know, I'm gonna have to heal you."

Will raised an eyebrow.

"With what?"

Nico, again, shrugged.

"Just some deadly poison that will give you some strange powers. Or maybe just mess with your mind so your body will heal completely faster than normally possible."
