Nico - Thirty Six

With Will's hand in his, Nico walked down the twisting cobblestone paths of the Park. The trees blocked most sunlight, occasional slivers of it shining through and making Will's eyes sparkle as the light hit.

Animals chattered around them, rustling in the bushes as they walked past.

Birds tweeted in harmony as Nico continued to lead Will through the park. "Where are we going?!" Will asked for the fifth time in the trip.

Nico sighed, false annoyance. "You'll know soon." He only answered, continuing to pull Will behind him.

It had been maybe an hour of walking, but Nico knew it would be worth it.

"Tada!" Nico exclaimed with fake enthusiasm. Will cracked a smile, "No need to be a fake Neeks." Will teased, Nico blushing at the nickname. Looking at the building, Will quickly discovered what it was.

The brick building was covered in Ivy, the thick vines in the cracks of the bricks, the windows, and even in the doorway. Ivy wrapping around the door frame like a hug.

There was a dark oak porch, with a pair of stone steps.

Multiple varieties of flowers spread through the yard. From roses, to violets, to lilies, and even some daisies.

Above the ivy covered door frame, lay a sign. It hung by a thick batch of strings, reminding Will of when his cousin (who was a girl scout) used to weave strings through her fingers and make balls of string that she claimed were her 'car keys.'

The sign was wet, but the letters were faintly on the surface.

"Demeter's. . . Plant. . . Sanctuary?" Will read uncertainly.

Nico nodded shyly. "Yeah. I thought we could get some flowers and. . . visit your mom." Nico admitted, a tinge of guilt hitting him lightly in the gut.

Will managed a shaky smile, "Okay." He said, voice wavering with emotions.

Will's hand still in Nico's, both of them walked up the stairs. They stood sturdily, and as they stepped onto the porch, it creaked.

"You gather whatever flowers you want. This place had been abandoned for years, so it isn't stealing. . . Technically." Nico ordered, looking at the blonde gently as they detangled their hands. "Thanks Nico. . ." Will whispered, his eyes roaming over a few patches of flowers.

"No problem." Nico said back.

"And Will?"

Will hummed.

"Call me Death."

A/n:

Yep. . . Bye bye!
