Will - Thirty Nine

When they stopped at McDonalds, Nico's phone started to ring. "Crap." He cursed under his breath, leaving Will still teary eyed from the grave visit. In fact, his pocket had 2 flowers in it.

Crimson Amaryllises.

Her favorites.

With his hand in his pocket, Will tightened his grips on their stems. He couldn't bring himself to hurt the flowers petals.

"I'm sorry, I have to get this." Nico apologized,  "Here's my credit card, order whatever you like." He offered as he answered his phone.

Will nodded mutely and took the plastic card.

Walking up to the cashier, he looked up at the menu quickly.

"Can I have a number 7?" He asked, eyeing the 10 piece chicken nugget meal with a large fountain drink.

The cashier nodded, a frown prominent on his face.

"Are you alright?" Will found himself asking. The teen whimpered. "Can you come with me to the storage room. . . I have some things I need to get off my chest." He said, close to tears.

Will, being raised to always help a person, nodded and immediately followed the cashier.

The two disappearing into the storage room.

Nico looked over his shoulder, freezing as he couldn't find Will.

"Imma have to call you back. My grandmother just. . . Um. . . Died in front of me. And I need to dispose of her body properly before my parents come home. . . Bye RaRa."
