Bonnie was in her antique/magic shop as she received Caroline's call.

"Ok, I got to meet Caroline, Soph" Bonnie said to the shop assistant, a fellow witch as well.

"Hey, don't worry. I'll hold the fort here." Sophie said.

As she walked to her house, the phone rang. The display said Elena.

"Hey you." Bonnie said as she picked up

"Hey. Just to let you know I will be changing planes in New York and should be with you tomorrow."

"Cool. Caroline is here already." Bonnie informed her friend although it was not really necessary as Caroline had texted Elena.

"I am so happy you guys are coming," Bonnie said,"especially Caroline as I have not organized anything really. I was so busy at the shop. "

"Oh, she'll take care of everything. So glad your shop is doing good" Elena was happy to hear her friend's little business was thriving.

"Thanks to your idea to add the antique flare to it. Hey, read the article in the Geographic. You are a real star of the archeology world." Bonnie said.

"I've been asked to be a consultant on a show they plan to do using one of the sagas, but I don't know."

"Do it. It will be fun." Bonnie said.

"I'll think about it." Elena said and as she heard another call alert, she had to break the conversation,"got to go- my dad is calling, sorry."

"Ok, no probs." Bonnie slipped, ending the call.
As she got her house and got her keys out of her bag, the taxi with Caroline and Klaus pulled up.

Caroline literaly flew out of the car. While the taxi driver got all the blonde's luggage out, Klaus watched the women squeeling happily as they went into a hug.

"Oh, I forgot to pay" Caroline said as she realized the taxi drove away.

"Was there a guy in the taxi?" Bonnie's witchy eye was very observant.

"Yes. I'll tell you all about it." Caroline grabbed her suitcases.

Bonnie just shook her head a little giving her friend a smile,"I guess, Stefan is history!"

Caroline turned to her friend, "He so is!"

They both walked into the house with Caroline telling her friend all about Klaus and the invitation as well as what she was going to wear to the Ball.

In New York, Elijah and Rebekah were boarding their flight to New Orleans.

"Seriously, inviting Aya to be your +1 is - uh, haven't got words for it" she griped at her brother. "You have to uninvite her."

"That would be very rude."

"Still, she is your assistant, and she looks at you with starry eyes and you should not encourage her, especially cos you are in love with someone else" Rebekah said.

As she said 'cuz you are in love with someone else' , Elijah gave his sister a semi-wide-eyed look like who said I was in love.

"You so are. Elijah, why don't you go to Nova Scotia," Rebekah said,"and don't even try to dispute it. You never have a one-night-stand. As far as I know. "

"Can we not talk about my private affairs in the public?" Elijah pointed out to his sister that they were in the plane, even though it was first class, and there were not many passangers there.

"Fine"Rebekah gave up, and as she was about to put her phone to airplane mode, she saw a message from Klaus, "Got my +1!"

She quickly typed a text back that she was happy for him and that she was hoping it was not someone from his work, adding that Elijah had asked Aya to be his +1. But she also wrote that she found out who Elijah's mystery woman was, sending him the link of the Geographic.

And then it went viral among the Mikaelson siblings. Kol shared the text with Henrik, and he with Finn, who shared it with Sage. This was one of the reasons Elijah kept his private life to himself. Rebekah couldn't keep anything to herself and no matter what it was, she would immediately share it with her other siblings, and they would tease Elijah immensely. Even though they were thousand year-old vampires, some things never changed. The teasing, the bickering, but also tremendous sibling love. If any of them were in danger they would always stand by one another, no matter what.

And so one by one, all the siblings arrived in New Orleans. Mikael and Esther Mikaelson greeted their children, even Kol, who managed to get there a day before any of his other siblings.

In the French Quarter,
Bonnie and Caroline welcomed Elena.

The whole city was full on with the festive cheer all around.

In the Mikaelson House in the Garden District,
Elijah was not able to live down the mystery girl- as they got out after the family dinner for a drink.

"You falling for a squint is right up your alley" Kol teased his eldest brother.

"The best thing about it, she is into Vikings, which is weirdly great, considering you are one." Klaus added.

Finn tried to stop them saying that it was just amazing that Elijah had found someone that he felt so deeply for.

Elijah ingnored them for a while till his patience ran out.

"At least I had one- most amazing night with a most equsite woman I have ever met. And I own my feelings."

"Next time he sees her, he is proposing." Kol jabbed at his brother.

"Your memory is quite short, brother dear." Klaus took hold of Kol. "Who proposed to Erica after he only kissed her?"

"That was thousand years ago and I just turned 16." Kol replied miffed that Klaus would bring that particular moment back.

"Come on, you guys, enough now. Let's have fun. This us the best time if the year. We are together." Rebekah said.

"True." Henrik agreed.

They all agreed, cheerfully scampering down the road.

In Bonnie's house, the three friends were getting ready to step out.

"Sophie is meeting us in Rousseau's." Bonnie said.

"What is the deal with you and Jackson?" Caroline wondered as Bonnie mentioned him a few days back.

"Nothing. He just did some repairs in the shop. And I had him do some restoration on a few antiques." Bonnie replied.

"Not my type, but he is hot." Caroline said. "How is he still on his own?"

"Long story. Still nursing a heartbreak. Something you know so well." Bonnie replied.

"I really don't get how we fall for the wrong people again and again." Caroline continued.

"Stars just didn't get aligned, I guess." Elena cut in.

"Since when do you believe in the stars or star signs?" Caroline found it most unusual that this came from Elena, who didn't believe in magic.

As the chatted on about magic and stars, the trio walked into the bar where the Mikaelsons already sat.

Klaus' eyes beamed happy as he saw Caroline, and Elena and Elijah's eyes locked screaming a huge OMG that reverberated right through them, from head to toe.

What happened was like flash photography-
Caroline smirked a little as she went towards the Mikaelson bunch. Kol clicked on by Klaus' cheshire cat smile that Caroline was the woman he met at the airport. But that was not something that kept his interest for long as he laid his eyes on Bonnie.

Rebekah was glued to Elijah and Elena. Still, at the corner of her eye, she caught Jackson walking in the bar.
