"I already spoke to your head, leave us be," Ozai glared at the officer.

The cop stood there confused and glanced over at the boy in the cell. Zuko was breathing a little faster as his hands shook while grasping the girls hand, that wasn't normal.

"I said leave," Ozai barked making everyone jump.

"Kat go," Zuko whispered.

"No she can stay,"

Zuko started to hyperventilate as Katara stepped closer to the cell to move out of the way of the cop that went to leave.

"I'll be right outside if you kids need anything," the officer sighed gently.

"What's your name?" Zuko asked quickly before Ozai could stop him.

"Officer chey," he smiled back at him before leaving.

"Let Katara go home, she's sick, she already called her family that she was coming home early from school," Zuko said quickly even if it was a lie.

"Now why would I do that if she's just going to go cry to iroh?" Ozai grinned.

"What are you going to do? Shoot us? We're surrounded by cops," Zuko huffed.

"Azula told me about that last night, your little fuck up, I'm tired of you Zuko, I'll go and tell the police every thing you've done and you're going to spend your days behind bars," Ozai shoved Katara back and grabbed his son by the shirt to slam his face against the metal.

"That was all under your order!" Zuko snarled back trying to push away.

"You think your the first person I've gotten convicted as a criminal? That was under my order? You're pathetic," Ozai smiled down at him.

"Get the hell off of him, Zuko has multiple alibis from multiple hours, your stupid stories won't match up with people who are telling the truth," Katara ripped his hands off her boyfriend and stood in front of his cell.

"You're a fucking idiot," she hissed.

Ozai glared down at her but sighed grabbing keys from his pocket and unlocked zukos cell. The boy immediately ran out of the cell and grabbed Katara to pull her behind him wide eyes. What the fuck was she thinking?

"Let's go," Ozai looked down at them with something deadly in his eyes as he looked at the children.

They looked at each other, Zuko shook his head at her but Katara held his hand tightly even if Zuko tried getting her off. They knew exactly what the other was thinking, Katara glared at him but stayed close, she covered her mouth when she coughed again harshly. She knew her fever was getting higher but if she let Zuko stay alone with his father who knew what would happen, at least if she stayed with him her family would notice just as fast and go to Iroh. If they stayed together they'd be found sooner.

"Anyone comes, the boy is still in jail for the next 24 hours," Ozai dropped cash at the front desk as he didn't even bother stopping.

Officer chey watched the two looking fearful almost through the faces that they tried to seem brave with.

"Boss, what do we do?" Chey whispered when the three left the building, seeing they got into a plateless vehicle.

"You heard him, the boys still in his cell, don't say a word," the chief waved him off.

Chey inhaled deeply keeping his mouth shut, it was noon, he'd file a missing person report if the boy didn't show up to school tomorrow. But there was a sickening feeling that tomorrow wouldn't come soon enough.

"You didn't have to get me arrested, I haven't done anything," Zuko sat in the backseat as Ozai drove. It was a bad feeling when his father drives, he rarely drives.

"I've had enough," Ozai snarled.

"That Damn woman is peaking her little fingers back in my way, I should've done what I promised I'd do long ago," he growled but Kataras blood went cold as she sat behind the drivers seat.

"Who?" Zuko frowned.

"You're damn mother!" He yelled at him.

Zuko stopped breathing as he stared at Ozai confused, his father refused to even acknowledge his mother for years, was the case opening again and leading back to them? To ozai? Is that why he's making Zuko struggle again?

"Where azula?" Zuko asked breathlessly.

"Don't worry about my daughter," Ozai glared.

"Where's my sister!" Zuko yelled but they were break checked making the teens hit their faces against the hard seats despite the seatbelts. Katara rubbed her forehead with a small whine as Zuko held his nose.

"Why do you even care?" Ozai looked at the road angrily.

"Because this isn't the way home, this is out of the city," Zuko groaned holding his nose tightly.

"I said I'm finishing what I should've before, that's all you need to know," the man spat.

Katara tried to grab her phone but her heart dropped when she couldn't find it, when did she lose it?

She looked at Zuko who had a glare on his face but she could see his hands trembling in his lap, he caught her eyes and saw guilt when he looked at her. If she got hurt he'd never forgive himself. He was suppose to be done with this, to just be normal and finish highschool like a teenager should, Katara shouldn't even be here. Sokka was going to kill them.

The car stopped.

"Get out," Ozai said calmly as he turned the car off. Zuko opened the door but nodded to Katara for her to get out on his side, she scooted as Zuko held the door open for her and helped her out of the car.

"Please just tell us what's going on," Zuko sighed gently as Katara held her head in pain from the migraine and being break checked before.

Ozai said nothing but Zuko saw the gun under his jacket on his belt, he swallowed a lump in his throat and looked back at Katara, he touched the side of her face gently, she was burning up.

"Run," he whispered.

Katara took a step back, she knew the road they were on, she could bring police back. Someone. She turned around to start sprinting but gasped when a gun cocked pointed at her.

"Zuzu, you're pretty girlfriend almost abandoned you, that's just so rude," Azula grinned holding the gun at Kataras head. Zuko cussed under his breath.

He had to think fast, he had to be fast, could they run? Someone was going to get killed if they ran. Could he get one of their guns? The other will just shoot.

"Azula put that down, join us," Ozai glared at her.

Azula was taken back, how could he speak to her like that when she was his partner?

"This was my idea," she scoffed walking behind Zuko and Katara to make sure they got moving.

What could he do? They were running out of time. It was a half hour drive but they were outside the city, it would be a two hour walk back from how far in the mountain they were. Shit shit shit shit shit.

"Sit,"

Zuko saw four chairs, they prepared for this, what the fuck is he going to do? Fuck, Katara had to run. The cops took his phone.

The two hostages sat next to each other but Zuko gasped when Azula handcuffed him to the chair behind his back, katara as well.

"Just tell me what I did, this isn't how it has to be," Zuko gulped as Katara coughed with her head down, she was looking pale.

"Do you want to know what happen to your dear mother? Your loving innocent mother?" Ozai sat in the chair in front of them.

"Tell me why Kataras here first," Zuko spat.

"I can't have witnesses, now shut up," Ozai took his gun out and inspected it.

"The night she was killed, she took your place, I was going to drag you from your bed and kill you in our own kitchen, getting rid of the burden," Ozai continued. "I had a perfect way of blaming it on her too, make her watch till she went insane, crazy enough to be convicted of murder,"

"Your sick," zukos voice cracked.

"I am," Ozai smiled.

"But she begged and begged for me to not hurt you, outside your bedroom door too," he chuckled.

"I don't understand why your telling me this," Zuko whispered in disgust.

"Because it's your turn, you're girlfriend made perfect bait," he licked his lips as he loaded the gun.

"The boy that was so convinced violence was the only way he sent children to the hospital, tried to commit suicide, only for a few more years later he went back to his old way, stealing, set buildings on fire, beat people till they were unconscious, got arrested again and ran, only to kill his girlfriend with whatever motive they'll come up with, only moments to kill himself," Ozai cocked the gun with a smile.

"Or something like that," he chuckled.

"No one will believe that!" Zuko snarled.

"No? It's to bad, I'm sure I can pay a lot to a lot of people to say otherwise," Ozai shrugged.

"Azula you're not really going to let him do this? He's fucking crazy," Zuko looked at his sister confused.

"I didn't do anything, I've left you all alone, I'm just trying to fucking leave this family!" He kicked a little but Azula grabbed his hair and brought his head back with a knife at his throat.

"Shut the hell up," Azula whispered in his ear.

"Get off him! You psycho bitch," Katara tried getting out of the handcuffs but they dug into her skin.

"God I'm going to kill you first," Azula snorted.

"Azula I said put that down!" Ozai roared at her.

Azula gripped the knife tightly as her fists shook in rage.

"So your going to kill us? That's it? Out in the woods and just shoot us? Why are you stalling?" Zukos face twisted confused but his voice shook.

"It's something I've been waiting for a long time, enjoying the moment," Ozai shrugged.

"Alright blindfold him, gag her," he smiled.

"What? Hey don't do that what the fuck?" Zuko panicked again as Azula put a blindfold over his eyes and tied it tightly. She went over and wrapped a cloth around Kataras mouth, the hostage tried to bite her but was slapped across the face before the cloth was forced.

"Stop!" Zuko yelled hearing the slap.

He could hear Katara muffling her yells as well as a gun being moved.

"Any last words? It's getting dark soon," Ozai asked as Kataras eyes widen looking at him then Zuko.

"Stop stop stop stop please! Don't shoot her, please just kill me don't kill her, I'm begging please!" Zuko couldn't breath as he tried getting out of the restraints but couldn't move.

"Dad please! Don't!" He cried.
