(Y/n)'s pov

The battle between Pyrrha and team CRDL has been... entertaining. Watching CRDL getting justice for hurting Velvet. If Grimlock fights team CRDL, he would win under a minute. Who knows what's his first move will be? Throw, stomp or bite.

The battle ended with Pyrrha the victor and Cardin the soon-to-be dead man while I was working on the project.

Glynda: "And that's the match."

Cardin: "Lucky shot. Ugh."

Glynda: "Well done miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament."

Pyrrha: "Thank you professor."

Glynda: "Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers?"

As far as I can hear, no one wants to spar. Few seconds later Glynda asked.

Glynda: "Miss Belladonna? You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you-"

Mercury: "I'll do it."

Mercury, I swear I've recognised that name.

Glynda: "Mercury is it? Very well. Let's find you an opponent."

Mercury: "Actually, I want to fight... him."

I felt a disturbance in the force, that everyone's eyes are on me.

Glynda: "I'm afraid Prime wouldn't fight right now. He seemed to be busy. I'd recommend you choose another partner."

Mercury: "Hey you! Why don't you come off your work and fight me."

I raised my head and gave him the glares. He flinched but kept his cool. I stand up and speak in a very serious tone.

(Y/n): "Why would I need to fight you now. The last person to fight me in Beacon is currently on the ground right now."

Mercury looks at Cardin before looking at me.

Mercury: "You chicken? Too scared?"

The students present at the arena looked at him with shock.

(Y/n): "Fine but know this. Any injuries come to you is not my responsibilities. If you surrender during the battle, you'll fall before you can finish that statement. Back out now or suffer like Winchester."

Mercury: "You don't scare me."

Right now, I'm facing off against Mercury, 10 metres apart. He smirked thinking he can beat me. How ironic. With my helmet still on, he can't tell what emotions I have.

Mercury: "I'll give you the first shot."

(Y/n): "Your funeral."

Within a second, I boost through towards him. His smirk now turned to fear as I punched his face. Everything slowed as it happened. He was knocked back far before recovering.

Mercury: "Not bad..."

He raised his body before attacking me with his legs. His mistake. I sidestepped, grabbed one of his legs and threw him to the ground. The impact of it manage to create cracks on the floor. By the time he looked at me, I did one of those axe kicks to his body. He couldn't move because he's stuck. I came up to his face and started beating him (A/n: with a cone... I wish). I kept punching him until his aura became red.

The battle was short, painful and over. I heard Mercury's groan from the beating.

Mercury: "Herk, ble-ag!"

Glynda: "Prime is the victor. Next time you may want to think a little harder before choosing an opponent. Especially when going against Prime."

The bell rings as I was walking out. Ruby ran up to me worried.

Ruby: "You know, you don't have to beat him like that."

(Y/n): "Why do you ask? Let alone, a student who moved 2 years ahead."

Ruby: "Well you can't hurt people like that. It's wrong."

(Y/n): "During my time, I helped many people, gave fear to enemies. They know my strength and know when to avoid. He knew but paid the price."

Ruby: "But you shouldn't do it."

(Y/n): "Would you rather have the same consequences?"

Ruby: "Um... no?"

(Y/n): "Then leave. Now."

Few minutes later after Ruby left with a sad face, Jaune walk to me with some hesitation.

Jaune: "Uh hey Prime."

I calmed myself before responding.

(Y/n): "How can I help you?"

Jaune: "As you know, there's a dance coming up this weekend."

I nod.

Jaune: "And I want to ask a girl out-"

(Y/n): "Is it Weiss?"

Jaune: "Well, yes. I was wondering if you-"

(Y/n): "Why her? Isn't she an ice queen?"

Weiss: "Hey!"

She called out of nowhere.

Jaune: "Well... because-"

(Y/n): "Are you sure. Is this what you want?

Jaune: "Uh..."

(Y/n): "What are the things you two have in common? Fame, skill or words she said?"

Jaune: "Umm, no?"

(Y/n): "Then she isn't the right person for you."

Jaune: "Then who if not her?"

(Y/n): "You should follow your heart and listen to your heart instead of your head. It will tell the answer."

Jaune complied as he listened to me. Few seconds later and he came to realisation. His eyes widened.

Jaune: "Pyrrha..."

(Y/n): "Correct."

Jaune: "But why?"

(Y/n): "You can ask her that when the dance comes up."

Jaune: "Are you sure?"

(Y/n): "Trust your heart and it will guide you."

With that I left him so I can find Velvet.

(Timeskip)

I found Velvet with her team having lunch. I sat next to Velvet and noticed she had her necklace with her. Coco, who is interested, asked first.

Coco: "So, care to tell me what you gave her Prime?"

(Y/n): "It's a special gift made for a special girl."

Velvet blushed at my comment. Cute and beautiful as always.

Coco: "That's cute. So Prime, if you don't mind, can you help us with setting up the dance tonight."

(Y/n): "Should be easy. So, what do I need to do?"

Coco: "We'll talk more once we get there. So, speaking of dance, Velvet's going with you?

(Y/n): "She will."

Coco: "Don't ruin her night Prime."

(Y/n): "I promise you, Velvet will never forget the night we'll have."

Velvet blushed again from my comment.

Coco: "Well then, let's go."

3rd pov

Team CFVY and (Y/n) are setting up the room. Fog machine, dollies, speakers, ribbons and more. While (Y/n) and Yatsuhashi are doing the heavy lifting, Fox and Velvet are doing the details. Coco was checking if everything was set up.

Coco: "No Prime. This one goes there, that one goes there."

(Y/n): "Should've given me the plans rather than telling Coco."

Coco: "But where's the fun in that?"

Velvet: "Come on, loosen a bit."

(Y/n): "Maybe."

Coco's scroll rang as she picked it up. Her face of excitement turned upset. Ozpin has an urgent mission for them.

Coco: "That's unfortunate."

She ended the call then turned towards Prime.

Coco: "Prime, I have some bad news."

(Y/n): "What happened?"

Coco: "Ozpin has an urgent mission that required us. And I thought the weekend was going to be fun."

(Y/n): "That's not good. What now?"

Coco: "Well, for now, Velvet will be staying with you while we do the mission."

(Y/n): "Are you sure about this?"

Coco: "Don't worry. We can make through our mission, I think."

(Y/n): "Then if you don't mind, I'll send support as compensation."

Coco: "Thanks but I'll think we'll survive."

(Y/n): "Judging by the timing Ozpin had given you during our preparation, I think you'll need it for safety."

Coco: "We'll see but for now we won't."

(Y/n): "Just in case, you'll need this."

Coco was given an Autobot badge. Small yet glowing.

(Y/n): "When you need it, activate the badge and help will come."

Coco: "Thanks Prime. Now let's hurry up and finish this area."

Jaune's pov

I'm currently training with Pyrrha in combat. Somehow, my skills were double than before. She did couple of slashes on me but not only I block some but parried most of them. I countered most of them before we ended up in a draw. The thought of asking Pyrrha has questioned my decision. Is it really Pyrrha or is he wrong?

Pyrrha: "Well done Jaune. It seemed you have vastly improved than before."

Jaune: "T-thank you Pyrrha."

We took a break from our training. The night sky filled with stars. The coldness from the breeze and the silence between us. Prime, I hope your right about this and it doesn't up in an awkward situation...

Jaune: "P-Pyrrha can I ask you something?"

Pyrrha: "Is there something wrong?"

Jaune: "N-no no, not like that. You see, you already know about the dance this weekend, right?"

Pyrrha: "I know."

Deep breaths Jaune. You can do this. Make no mistake.

Jaune: "I was hoping t-that. You... can g-go with me to the dance."

I closed my eyes hoping something bad might happen but instead, I've felt a warn hug across my body. My heartbeat increased. Is he right?

Pyrrha: "Yes Jaune! I would like to go with you to the dance but what came up with that?"

Jaune: "Training with you and Prime had me question my skills and thoughts."

Pyrrha: "I must thank you for asking me. I'm not sure if anyone would ask me anyway."

Jaune: "But you're the invincible girl. Most guys would ask you. They're more skilled than me."

Pyrrha: "Not the invincible anymore but I'm wanted to hang out with someone who would see me as a normal person. You saw me as an ordinary person. That is what I want and you gave me that. Thank you."

I saw Pyrrha blushing and I turned my head blushing as well. Huh, guess Prime was right. I have to thank him later.

Jaune: "So, where do we start on the dance?"

(Timeskip)

Wow, I can't believe it worked. How could I not see it?! Preparations... What should we do for the dance. Right now, we're in our dorm.

Jaune: "Ren, what should we practice for the dance."

Ren: "I have no idea."

Jaune: "Come on, there's something we can do."

Ren: "You want basic or something?"

Jaune: "You're not helping..."

Ren: "I know."

3rd pov

Cinder was sitting on the bed as well as Mercury with his bandage. Emerald was also sitting on the floor looking at her scroll.

Emerald: "Next we have Pyrrha Nikos."

Cinder: "Ahh, the invincible girl."

Mercury: "I say she's smart but not invincible."

Cinder: "Do tell."

Emerald: "Her semblance is polarity, but you'd never know it just by watching."

Mercury: "From what I could tell, she was moving the weapons however she wanted. But she only made slight adjustments."

Emerald: "Just enough to make it look like she's untouchable. She doesn't broadcast her powers so it puts her opponents at a disadvantage."

Cinder: "Hmm, people assumed she's fated for victory when she's really taken fate into her own hands. Interesting. Add her to the list."

Emerald responded to her request yet she's concerned.

Emerald: "And what about this Prime guy?"

Cinder: "Anything you'd like to say Mercury?"

Mercury: "Yeah, just that he hits very hard. It's like he knew my next move and my head hurts like hell."

Cinder: "Anything additional information?"

Mercury: "He has two looking crystals behind his back. One blue and the other purple. Always armoured and his helmet is menacing."

Emerald: "The two crystals could be his strength."

Cinder: "He could be a problem but no matter. Like others, their powers could be taken away. And we will."

Mercury: "Better make it quick. If we can't stop him, what will?"

Cinder: "Patience Mercury, we have a fun weekend ahead of us."
