            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I am a junior of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. My major is English Linguistics and Literature, and I am learning it with the support and encouragement of the Honors Program. I am writing to apply for a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATE – Training & Associate Relations position at New World Saigon Hotel. I enclose my Curriculum Vitae (CV) for your consideration.

I believe I am qualified for this position on the following grounds.

First, as I stated in my CV, I am currently working as a teacher assistant at VUS English learning center. This job involves working with the native teachers, which gives me many chances to practice speaking English. I am also very happy that many native teachers have given good comments on my English accent and oral skill. Also, I am a freelance translator and all of my translations have received good feedback. I am, therefore, confident in my speaking and writing skills as well as translating competence.

            Second, at university, I took the Public Speaking Skill course which taught me how to make a good presentation. Moreover, I have made many English presentations since I was a freshman at university. I believe, as equipped with good academic and hands-on experience of public speaking, I can meet your requirement of excellent communication and strong presentation skills.

Third, as you have a look at my experience table in my CV, you can see that I am doing many part time jobs at the same time: teacher assistant, freelance translator, freelance journalist and tutor, to name just a few. I am, however, a planned person. That is why much as the workload and pressure of time are, I still handle both schooling and working well. Thus, I am sure that I can work well under high pressure and still have all of my tasks well done.

Last, being a human resources associate is suitable for my characteristics. I am interested in what working as a Human Resources Associate involves such as recruiting, enrolment planning, training, employee communication. Furthermore, I am patient, soft with people and hard at work. I also have an inquiring mind. I always attempt to do whatever it takes to get my task well done. I think this will be a great chance for me to devote all my knowledge and skills if I have an opportunity to work as a Human Resources Associate at New World Saigon Hotel.
