In the morning, Mew woke up in bed alone again. He was in nasty mood. Another day in which he must struggle with a new reality. He believed less and less in the saying "Time heals wounds." He felt worse every day. He could not come to terms with his condition.

He got out of bed with a sigh and went to take a shower. Washed and dressed, he went to the kitchen, where he hoped to meet Gulf.

Gulf set glasses with orange juice on the table, other dishes tempted with the smell and just waited to eat them. At the sight of Mew, Gulf smiled and said hello, saying "Good morning" and waving his arms strangely. Mew was surprised. He didn't know what he meant. Maybe it's some morning exercises. They sat down at the table. Gulf knocked on the table the same way he did before and began to eat. Mew was very troubled by this gesture. What does that mean? He took his phone from his pocket and wrote to Gulf:

"What's the deal with knocking on the table?"

He rarely used his voice. He felt strange not hearing what he was saying. Maybe he's saying not what he wanted at all. Maybe it makes no sense. So, he preferred not to say anything.

After reading it, Gulf looked at him with a smile. Instead of answering, he began to speak again and move his hands. Mew felt that this was not just normal gesturing.

"This gesture means "bon appetit". My aunt, who is deaf, starts every family meal this way." Gulf explained.

Mew's face shows displeasure. He wrote again to Gulf:

"You sayed that after the accident nothing has changed. And now you really treat me as deaf! "

"I'm just trying to show you a different, beautiful world and culture that you belong to now." Gulf defended itself.

Mew's expression expressed growing rage.

"That's waving your arms, it also means something, right?" - another message.

"It's sign language. Deaf people communicate in this way. It's a beautiful language, you'll find out." Gulf smiled.

This enraged Mew even more. If he hears the word "deaf" again, he can't stand it. He's deaf, but Gulf doesn't have to remind him. Sign language? Communication of the deaf? It was supposed to be normal!

He got up quickly from the table, turning over the chair on which he sat and headed for the room. Gulf grabbed his arm to stop and force him to look at him.

"You didn't eat anything." he said and continued to sign.

Mew gripped his hands tightly, and Gulf grimaced in pain.

"Stop!"Mew growled. "Don't remind me that I'm deaf!"

"I'm sorry. Calm down and come back for breakfast." asked Gulf.

"I lost my appetite."

Suddenly a light began to flash in the room. Mew was surprised because the lamps were off. And it was a sunny morning. He looked at Gulf questioningly.

"Someone is at the door." explained the younger boy "I installed a few facilities before your return."

Mew released Gulf's hands abruptly and quickly disappeared into the room, slamming the door behind him. Gulf just sighed in resignation and went to see who had come. It was a courier. He brought the package with online ordered movie "The Hummer, Matt Hamill." Gulf signed the pickup and said goodbye to the man. He unpacked the package. He was looking at the plastic envelop with the DVD inside. He wasn't sure when they would be able to watch it with Mew. Gulf wanted to show him that deaf people can do anything. They can make their dream come true. Matt Hamill was a great example of this. Despite his deafness, he became a famous American wrestler.

Gulf put the disc down and decided to put the prepared food in the fridge. He also lost his appetite.

Mew avoided Gulf all day. He left the room after he received a text from Gulf that he was going out to the store for a moment. Which meant he was alone at home. His anger subsided and Mew felt hungry. He knew that Gulf had hidden his intact breakfast in the fridge. Gulf didn't like wasting food. He went to the kitchen, took out a meal and began to eat.

He thought about the morning event for a long time. He was furious, but he shouldn't act like that. Gulf didn't deserve it. He tried his best to make Mew recover quickly and come back to normality. Mew could not accept the fact that he had to rely on someone. That from a strong, independent man, he became someone who just needs to turn off the light, or cover his eyes and will be unable to do anything. He was worried about the reaction of fans and society to the news that he could not hear. If he doesn't get back to work soon, the media will ask for him and the truth will come out. He won't be able to work normally, because who will employ a deaf actor. His career is over. Gulf will have enough of it at some point. He gets bored of babysitting a cripple. The vision of being alone frightened him. How would he manage this?

Mew finished eating. He cleaned up after himself and grimly closed himself again in the room, before his boyfriend returned. He was ashamed to look him in the eye.
