Loki came back the next day. He wanted to bring Gaea back to the palace with him because he wanted to show her something. Gaea was looking around the palace gardens as Loki walked in front of her. He looked over his shoulder.

"Are you coming? You're awfully slow," he commented.

Gaea pouted. "I just like the flowers."

"Well, I don't care. Hurry."

She frowned at his impatience, but hiked up her dress and scurried after him. Soon, she was by his side. The two walked side by side.

"How important is this thing you want to show me?"

"Very important."

The corner of his lips were tugged up to one side. There was something on his mind, and Gaea knew it couldn't be good. She had heard stories of his mischievous acts.

"Loki, dear, what are you doing?"

"Mother!" Loki exclaimed.

He stopped walking, so did Gaea. She curtsied in front of Frigga. Frigga nodded her head in acknowledgment.

"I'm simply showing Gaea around the palace. She loves the garden," Loki smoothly said.

"Ah, yes, I'm sure," Frigga said.

Frigga's smile told both Gaea and Loki that she did not believe him. She walked closer to the pair.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Gaea."

"The pleasure is mine, your majesty."

"Loki, do not bring this young lady into your mischief," Frigga scolded.

"I've no idea what you're talking about," he said, smirking. "Gaea just simply loves nature. She begged me to come."

Gaea glared at the side of his face. "Yes, I'm afraid Prince Loki is rather kind to me - kind enough to bring me to the wonderful home you raised him in."

"Thank you, Gaea."

"Now, Mother, may I take my guest?" Loki impatiently asked.

Frigga nodded. "Do not get into too much trouble, son."
