ADELLA ESPINOSA STARED AT THE SAME ROOF that she had done for a while now. The same old dull colours staring back at her.

Occasionally, her father would visit her when he wasn't busy and so would Raven Reyes. That's the only thing she enjoyed, seeing familiar faces that would cheer her up.

She sighed as she pulled her hat down, covering her eyes. She started to tap her stomach, counting up to five every time she placed a finger.

As she tried to doze off, the door opened, making her sit up, placing her hat back on her head.

She frowned as two guards walked in, one of them holding a box. Was she already eighteen? No, she had been counting down the days. She wasn't eighteen for another month.

Before she could speak, she felt a sharp pain in her wrist, making her hiss in pain. "Ow." Adella held her arm with a frown. "Was there any need?" She asked with the sarcastic tone as she looked down at her wrist to see a wristband. "These are new." She hummed to herself.

The guards grabbed Adella's hands and walked her out her cell. She looked up to see all the other kids being taken out of their cells. She frowned. Were they killing everyone? "Hey, don't I get to say goodbye?" She turned to guards who didn't reply but only pushed her forward. "Hey, coño! Answer me." Adella tried to get out of their grip, pulling on her arm. But, no reply, only a hard shove. "Hey I'm speaking to y-"

"Hey its okay." Adella looked up to see her father which made her sigh, her body relaxing at the familiar face. "I'll take it from here." Pietro told the guards and they let go of her. Adella looked at all of the kids lining up before pulling her dad into a hug.

"Dad, what's going on? Are we all going to get floated?" Adella asked him, rambling with wide eyes. She tried to hide how afraid she was as she pulled out of the hug. But Pietro saw right through his daughter's hidden facade.

Pietro shook his head at her. "No, niña, you're being sent to the ground." He told her which made her eyes widen. Adella had only read about earth in books, now she was actually going to see the real thing. She couldn't believe it.

"Wait, the ground, where the trees are and all the animals?" Adella chuckled, not believing her father at first. She watched as he slowly nodded his head. "Santa mierda, you're serious." Now the earth skills made sense. She didn't mind the lessons, they were actually useful. But she hated pike, for a lot of reasons.

"I wouldn't lie to you, niña." He told her and she nodded her head, keeping her hands on his arms.

"I know, I'm just- thinking. Why now?" Adella asked, shaking her head. "Why after almost 100 years are they sending a bunch of kids down to earth?" Adella raised a brow as she looked up at her father.

"I don't have time to explain, but, oxygen is running low. I've only just been told." Pietro explained, pulling something out of his pocket. It was a piece of paper and a pocket knife. "Read it, it explains everything. Keep your wristband on, it sends us your vitals." He told her and Adella nodded, putting the note into her pocket. "Stay safe, niña." He pulled her into another hug and kissed her forehead.

She squeezed her eyes shut and sighed, giving him a smile. Adella started to follow the kids, looking over her shoulder at her father, before a guard helped her into the dropship, a guard she had never seen before and she knew all the guards—her father being an important part on the ark, but ignored it as she took a seat next to a familiar brunette.

"Adella?" the brunette girl chuckled making Adella scoff in shock, eyes wide. A wide smile grew on Adella's face, her dimples showing.

"Octavia." Adella grinned as Adella pulled the brunette into a hug. Adella had gotten to know the girl from pikes earth classes. Octavia had asked to sit next to her and Fox and Adella agreed. "I'm so glad you're here."

"Me too." Octavia smiled as she pulled out of the hug. "So we're going to earth." She giddily said, grin on her face as she looked around.

"It's so strange but at the same time, I'm excited." Adella nodded her head, a massive grin on her face. She couldn't believe she was going to Earth! Oh, Raven would have loved it.

Before Octavia could reply, they was jolted forward. The girl's hissed as they sat back up. Then all of a sudden, the lights flickered and Jaha's face was on the screens.

"Asshole." Octavia rolled her eyes at the screen.

"Prisoners of The Ark, hear me now. You've been given a second chance, and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others. Frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendable." The man explained.

"Your dad is a dick, Wells." A kid yelled and Adellas eyes widen. Wells was here? When the hell did Wells get arrested?

"If, however, you do survive, those crimes will be forgiven, your records wiped clean." Jaha continued, even though Adella wasn't listening at all.

"The drop site has been chosen carefully. Before the last war, Mount Weather was a military base built within a mountain. It was to be stocked with enough non-perishables to sustain 300 people for up to two years. No one ever made it there. Because we spare you no food, or water, or medicine, I cannot stress strongly enough, that Mount Weather is life." The man continued.

"Spacewalk bandit strikes again. Go, Finn! Check it out." A kid yelled and Adella turned, seeing Finn floating. Octavia cheered and Adella chuckled, rolling her eyes at her closest friend. Classic Finn.

Two other kids started to unstrap and fly out of their seats. "You must locate those supplies immediately." Jaha said, but Adella wasn't really listening. "Your one responsibility is stay alive."

"Sending a bunch of delinquents to the ground, no adults, smart Jaha." Adella breathed out, her eyes still on Finn.

All of a sudden, there was a strong Jolt, making them all fly forward, the seatbelts keeping them safe, except for Finn and two other kids.

When Adella saw Finn hit into the wall, she panicked. "Finn!" She gasped as she turned around, not being able to see him at all.

Octavia grabbed her hand, squeezing it, making Adella squeeze it back. After a while of rocking back and forth, they got jolted again but everything stopped. It was quiet and calm.

Hey pookies... look who's back.

Yes, it's me, rewriting adella for the 50th time.

I wanted to take time with this fic, make it better and add more scenes and relationships/friendships with others.

And trust me...

Finn, jasper, Clarke, Luna, Bellamy and others...they'll have more scenes with adella for numerous reasons...

And I'm making leia and adella and Murphy have more scenes so, buckle up.
