Gregor's POV

"Who are you?" Luxa asked. I was wondering the same thing. He wasn't an Underlander, and Narissa must think he's important, or she wouldn't react like that.

"I could say the same thing," Mystery boy said. There was an silence, so I decided to fill it.

"Hey, umm... I'm Gregor, who are you?" His eyes were a swirl of green, for some reason it reminded me of the ocean.

"Hi, I'm Percy." He must be a leader, he seemed the type. He would be a horrible enemy.

Percy's POV

The person I was introduced to as Mareth escorted me into a room. It was beautiful, well furnished, it fit well into a castle. I took a bath, and the tide running through it felt like a river. It was okay. Not as good as New Rome.

As I was falling asleep, I heard arguments in the hall. I pushed my ear up against the door.

"Vikus, I know how rare it is, but not every time it happens the person is special! There were many before Gregor, and there were bound to be some after! That doesn't make them special, does it?" One voice complained.

"Luxa, he has an aura of power. He knows he's dangerous, and if he isn't our friend, he would make a bad enemy. And the way Narissa reacted, it's all connected to the new prophecy-" he got cut off.

"The new prophecy?!?! You're talking to me about the new prophecy?!?! Gregor's been through enough, he lost his bond, he saved us countless times, he shouldn't have to go through another prophecy!"

I backed away from the door, I heard too much already. Prophecy? Again? The Fates are cruel. Eh. I'll think some more in the morning. I hope they have blue cookies.
