A S T R I D

I woke up to a pressure holding me tightly. I heard light snores coming from right beside me.

I looked to be face to face with Hiccup. He was still sleeping soundly and---

WAIT.

WHERE AM I.

I looked around and I noticed I was just in Hiccup's room. Oh goodness.

I tried to slowly get up but Hiccup just held on to me tighter.

"Don't go" He said with his morning voice.

Gosh that's sexy.

"Hiccup I have to feed Stormfly" I stroked his cheek, his eyes still closed.

"Just stay with me, the whole daaaay" He says nuzzling his face into my neck.

I stroked his hair, just enjoying his presence and his touch.

"Morning m'lady" He says before finally rolling away and standing. I blushed hard when I noticed he was shirtless.

I stared. It was like I was hypnotized. I could't take my eyes off that flawless torso, his six pack visible due to the sun reflecting on it's perfe--

"ASTRID!" He yelled.

"Huh what?" I asked.

"Had enough staring at my torso?" He smirks.

I rolled my eyes.

"I wasn't staring at your.... torso" I said getting up from the bed.

"What would you do if I spent the whole day walking around the village shirtless?" He asks.

Me and my girlfriend instincts kicked in.

I grabbed his shirt hanging from his chair and shoved it at his chest.

"I'll burry every single girl who looks at you, alive" I growled and glared at him.

"I said this before, but you're sexy when you get mad" He winked.

I rolled my eyes, trying to play it cool.

"Hush up Haddock" I said.

He kissed me gently on the lips, placing his arms around my waist. I placed my hands on his chest. We pulled away but we just stood there, staring at each other.

"HICCUP I CAN'T FIND MY-oh" The door burst open with a confused looking Stoick.

"SIR! OH MY THOR THIS ISN'T WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE" I pulled away quickly blushing hard.

"Dad, could you knock?" Hiccup says while putting his shirt on.

"My house, I can knock wherever I want" He replied.

"Well it's my house too, so I need privacy" Hiccup says pulling me close to him. He leaned his chin on my shoulder.

I feel uncomfortable a bit, acting lovey dovey in front of Hiccup's dad.

"Good morning Astrid"

"Good morning, Si--Stoick" I said smiling shyly.

"No need to be embarrassed lass, as long as you guys don't do anything stupid" He patted my head.

"Ugh dad" Hiccup facepalmed himself.

"Alright alright, Hiccup. Gobber needs your help today" Stoick says.

"Alright dad" Hiccup says before Stoick left the room.

I punched Hiccup's shoulder.

"Ow! Punch me again when I have my armor on!" He hissed rubbing his shoulder.

"Don't do that when your dad is around" I said crossing my arms.

"Do what?"

"Act all lovey dovey around your dad, it makes me uncomfortable" I said.

He shrugs.

"I can't help it, I just love you" He says putting on the rest of his armor.

"I'll see you later m'lady" He before kissing my cheek and rushing out, probably to go to Gobber's.

I smiled touching my cheek.

That boy is really something.

After I fed Stormfly, I went on my way to The Great Hall. It's become my daily routine.

I saw Tuffnut and Fishlegs stare at Ruff and Snotlout in disgust.

"Oh you're gross" Snotlout said to Ruff.

"No you are" Ruff giggled at Snotlout.

"You are" Snotlout tapped Ruff's nose.

"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!" I ask.

"EVERYTHING!!!!!" Tuffnut screamed pulling his hair.

"I think I'm scarred for life" Fishlegs said.

"Anything you guys want to share?" I ask Ruff and Snotlout.

Snotlout pulled Ruff close to him.

"We're dating" He smiles.

"Congrats guys" I said before sitting down.

"Congrats?! You're okay with this whole thing?!" Fishlegs asked.

"Yeah, the same way you guys were okay with me and Hiccup dating" I shrugged.

"Oh, right..." Tuff cleared his throat.

"Speaking of prince charming, where is Hiccup?"

"He's at Gobber's" I replied.

"Well we haven't went dragon racing for a while, wanna go?" Fishlegs.

Now that I think about it, when was the last time we went dragon racing?

We all agreed and we headed out to prepare.

"HURRY STORMFLY WE'RE ALMOST THERE" I said, about to cross the finish line.

I came closer and closer until finally I won, for 4th time today.

"Will you cut us some slack?" Tuffnut says landing next to me.

"Yeah, it's humiliating how boys get beaten by girls" Fishlegs frowned.

"We don't beat you guys. Maybe you guys are just weak" I high fived with Ruffnut.

"Hey, boys ARE better than girls" Snotlout argued.

"It terms of strength, but in terms in here...." I said tapping my head.

"....maybe a goldfish could be smarter than you" I shrugged.

"That's not true" Tuffnut growled.

"Yes it actually is" Ruffnut smirked.

"It's rare you find a guy with both the strength and the brains" Ruff said.

"And what do you know about brains? It's hard to find a girl who's strong and smart" Fishlegs said to Ruffnut.

Before we knew it, Snotlout jumped on Fishlegs wrestling him.

"Leave Ruff alone!" He groaned trying to punch him but every part of Fishlegs' body would just make the blow bounce off.

I giggled.

"Having a little trouble there Jorgenson?" I asked Snotlout.

"Butt out Hofferson!" He growled.

Awe. Overprotective boyfriend.

Speaking of boyfriend, I wonder how Hiccup's doing.

He's probably working his butt off right now, while me and the gang are just chilling. A little unfair.

I'll bring him some Yak Milk.

"Hey guys, I'll go visit Hiccup at Gobber's" I said before walking away.

"See ya later Astrid" They waved and I waved back.

...

I approached Gobber's place with a cup of Yak Milk in my hand.

When I came in, I saw Gobber and Hiccup, but one unfamiliar face.

A girl.

Thor please not now. Not ever. Gosh. Don't tell me. WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING.

"Oh hey Astrid! Nice seeing you here! What do you want?" Gobber greeted and Hiccup and the girl faced me.

I eyed the girl, she had blonde hair like me but a darker shade, and hazel eyes. She looked much around my age.

"Oh nothing just, bringing Hiccup some Yak Milk" I said showing them the cup.

"Oh m'lady thank you" Hiccup smiles widely approaching me. He gently takes the cup from me and kisses me.

He pulled away to whisper something in my ear.

"Don't worry okay? I love you and only you" He whispers before pulling away and introducing me to the new chick.

The girl stepped forward.

"This is Emma, Gobber's niece. Emma, Astrid, my girlfriend" Hiccup introduced me.

We shook hands.

"Nice to meet you Emma" I smiled. Alright this time, I'll be nice.

If the chick is nice.

"Hi Astrid! You're really pretty" She says.

Alright FALSE ALARM. This girl's good.

Well, maybe now, I have met a girl who I actually will have no problem with.

"Thanks, you too" I smiled at her.

"Well, Emma is here only for a week. Her father's picking her up before they go to some far away place. She visits me when she can" Gobber says putting his arm around Emma.

"Well, Gobber is THE best uncle I've ever had" Emma smiled patting Gobber's back.

"How nice" I smiled.

"Yeah, she's just helping us around here in the work shop"

"Alright. I better leave you three to do your work, I'll see you around Emma" I smiled and waved before leaving.

"No goodbye for me?!" Hiccup called out.

I turned around stuck my tongue out at him.

I turned back around to continue walking when someone pulled me back and really kissed me on the lips.

"That's what's gonna happen if you don't say goodbye to me properly" He says.

"Then maybe I won't say goodbye for now on" I smiled and kissed his cheek.

He chuckles.

"I'll see you later princess" He smiled.

"See ya later handsome" I said before walking away.
