I walked into the room where Stein was at and sighed. He had fallen asleep at his computer again. I walked over and barely touched his arm. "Stein." I whispered.

No movement or anything. "Stein." I said again and poked him a little more. He still didn't say anything and I sighed. "Stein!" I said and he jumped up and fell from his chair. "What?! What Happened?!" he asked. I chuckled which turned to laughter which turned to me falling on the floor and dying.

He stood and grabbed me from the floor and put me over his shoulder. He threw me to his bed and crawled over me. I looked at him and he smirked. He got closer and looked at me with his piercing green eyes. "Um..what are you doing?" I asked.

He smirked and gently touched my chin. "Stein....?" I asked again. He put a finger over my mouth to silence me. I rose a brow and he smirked. He leaned forward before rolling off and onto the floor laughing. I sat up. "hahah...you should....hahaha...saw the look on your face!" he said.

I looked at him before jumping on him from the bed. He stopped laughing and looked at me. I leaned down to hisear. "Don't play that with me...It will end badly." I said.
He looked at me. He smirked. "What are you going to do about it? hmm?" he asked. I smirked and looked at him.

I leaned down again and ran my index and middle finger along his cheek to his chin. He looked at me. "You wouldn't." he said. I smirked. "Are you so sure, Professor?" I asked. He sat up and looked at me. "You would have done it if you were going to." he whispered before laying back down again. I  looked at him and smirked. I quickly pressed my lips to his and stood and ran off to my room. I locked my door and sighed. I slid down the door and covered my red face. I didn't have to see a mirror for me to know I was red. I could tell by the heat I had. Why the hell did I just do that?! I'm freaking insane! I battled myself mentally for a good hour almost.

That was before I heard a knock on my door. "(y/n) it's Spirit. Can I come in?" he asked. I unlocked the door. I sat down and he walked over after he locked the door again. "Stein told me what happened." he said.

I glanced at him and turned red again but caught it and buried my face in my pillow. "News travels fast doesn't it?" I asked. He chuckled andlaid down next to me as he uncovered my face.

"You should go talk to him." he said. I groaned. "Why so he can yell at me? I am his student. Yet I did that. What is wrong with me?" I asked. He looked at me. "How do you feel when you look, think, or talk to him?" he asked. I looked down and sighed with a small smile. "My heart acts up. My palms get sweaty and I turn red sometimes." I said and he smiled.

"Does your heart rate increase when you do that?" he asked. I nodded. "How did you know?" I asked. He smiled and brought me to his lap and hugged me.

"You're in love my dear." he said. I looked at him. He had a giant smile and looked as if he could cry. "You're like a daughter to me. Did I tell you that?" he asked. I shook my head. "You are. And you do get along well with Maka. So that makes it better. I've been waiting for one of you to feel like this. I didn't think it would be Stein though, to be honest. Now I have to hope that she won't fall for that octopus head." he said. I chuckled. He smiled and looked at me.

"Do you know what happened when Stein first met you?" he asked. I shook my head. "Well it's story time." he said and I smiled and put my head on his chest as he smiled at me.

-Flash back-

Spirit's POV

I was walking around the halls of the DWMA and Stein came out of his class. "Hey, Stein." I said. He looked to me and for the first time, I saw him actually smile. It wasn't his insane smile. No, it was his actual happy smile. I rose a brow at him. "What's with the smile?" I
asked.

He sighed and looked at me. "Take a walk?" he asked. I nodded and we walked out to one of the many balconies of the DWMA. I looked at him as he leaned on the rail. "What's up?" I asked. He smiled at me.

"You remember how you felt when you met your ex-wife?" he asked. I nodded not catching on. "Well...There's this student I met. At first Isaw her like any other one. But then I started to pay attention to what was happening to her. And I realized that I was in her shoes when I was here. But of course you know what that was." he said. I looked at him.

"Stein, She's a student. I don't think Lord Death would let you do anything. He's hesitant on you even dissecting anything." I said. He looked down and nodded. "For once I don't care what happens to me. Only that she can have a good education and become a Death Scythe. That's why I'm asking to be her Meister after school today." he said. I looked at him as he was crazy. Even though we already knew he was. But this wasn't his usual crazy insane look. This was his crazy in love look. I watched him leave as I processed what he told me. I smiled the more I thought about it. It was great for him to feel something other than his madness. 

-End FlashBack-

I looked at her as she smiled. "Really?" she asked. I nodded. "I wouldn't tell you that if he didn't." I said. "He does care about you but why he waited I have no idea." I said. She nodded. "I remember what happened when he asked me to be his weapon." she smiled a little. I stood and put her on the bed. "Talk to him when you're ready. I'll go see how he's doing." i said. She nodded and I walked out.

I walked to the living room where Stein was. He looked at me. "What did she say?" he asked and stood. I smirked. "All I'll say is that she likes you back. But you can't just talk to her. Give her time to process. I told her what you told me when you noticed her." I said. he nodded. "All right. I'll give her time. But how much time?" He asked.

I thought for a moment. "A few days at least." I said. He looked down and nodded. "All right." he said. I nodded and looked at him. "I'll see you on Monday then." I said and walked to the door. "Remember. Don'ttalk to her until she's ready." I said. I nodded and he left. I closed the door and sighed.

I turned around to the quietness the house had. I sighed and walked over to my computer hearing my shoes echo through the house. This is going to be a long weekend...
