🇱 🇴 🇨 🇦 🇹 🇮 🇴 🇳 : Unknown City.

"Thank you all. Best wishes!" After the class ended, the Professor announced that his students had to leave.

Life is peaceful (it has its moments) and crappy when you are human, and Amy is one of them. She sighed tiredly but with joy after she exited. She had been looking forward to writing her fanfics again since Amy--Oh wait, you all do not know well, as you can see, Amy is human, living in her world where fictional stories and fairytales didn't exist, but when a mere wish of hers of wanting for an adventure to Middle Earth. Thinking that it won't accept it, it changed her life.

After settling for a long walk, she took out her phone and played her favorite playlist. Sitting on a bench in a nearby park, Amy takes out the comb she brought with her stuff since she had messy ebony hair. She watched the children play around; a soft smile enchanted her face as the day passed, enjoying the peaceful sound of silence. She felt grateful for the short respite from her hectic life, even if it was only for a few minutes.

Despite her grounded approach to her new adjusted life, Amelia longed for another adventure and would appreciate it if she could travel to Erebor, though that wasn't the case. Now, a grown-up turned out to be beautiful. Even so, the stress of her studies and social life weighed heavily on her mind. She wondered how she would make it through the next few weeks without going crazy.

She dedicates herself to nothing but her studies, having fun indoors and reading her favorite books (fanfics) as Amy delved into various fields such as the English language and Legal & Trade commerce classes in public. In secret, she goes to her secret classes in Theatrical Drama. At home, she reads Mythology and practices Dancing with any music. She strives in the academic environment and constantly challenges herself to push the boundaries of her understanding.

The music ends, and she starts to enjoy the peaceful sound of silence and the wind kissing her face when, unbeknownst to her, a tall old man with a long white beard and bushy eyebrows stuck beyond the hat's brim, wearing a long gray cloak, a matching pointy hat, and a silver scarf, had been looking over her shoulder at Amy was staring at the empty park.

"Interesting book, my dear," He said, echoing through her ear. Startled, Amy turned to see a figure cloaked in grey robes, his face obscured by shadows. Despite her surprise, she couldn't help but feel a strange familiarity about him. As it turns out to be none other than Gandalf the Grey, Amy widens her chocolate brown eyes in shock, her mouth falls open in disbelief, and she fixes her glasses before blinking a few times as she remembers who he is.

The excitement flooded her fangirling head, and Amy refused to break her calm composure to look back at the Grey Wizard. Praying that he was the REAL deal, she responded, unable to control her straightforward response: "Good afternoon, is there something you want with me?"

"What do you mean?" Gandalf starts. "Do you wish me a 'good afternoon,' or do you believe I had a 'good afternoon'? However, as for your question, that depends on what you believe, Miss Lightwood," Gandalf tells her.

She promptly turned off her phone and focused all her attention on the Grey Wizard, concealing her knowledge of his intentions: 'OMG HE IS THE REAL THING!!!! THIS IS EXCITING!' Despite feeling nervous with anticipation, she kept herself composed and asked him, "Before I answer, I need to know who I'll be meeting."

"Someone at a party," he replied. "A party and I are journeying to the Lonely Mountain," Gandalf answered, leaning slightly on his staff. "I believe you know who I am, don't you?"

As simple as that, Amy's smile turned into a mighty while her chocolate brown eyes widened in shock; she stood up from the bench: "You want me to join you by going back to the Lonely Mountain where freaking Smaug is?... Gandalf, the offer of going on an adventure is once in a lifetime and generous." She paused, making the Grey Wizard hum in delight, then told him, "But I'm afraid the others wouldn't want me in the journey since that's out of the question."

Amy was mentally facepalming for saying that when she didn't want to come, she had read and known about the many case scenarios of every Hobbit fanfic she could ever think of about how Thorin could react to a woman and, most importantly, how he and his twin nephews die in the final battle with the Orcs.

Yet, Gandalf was correct in his assumptions about her wanting to change her answer to join in. So now, he might need to find another way to persuade her to join the journey, perhaps by appealing to her by telling her about her:

"I believe you can be helpful. But I know you want to come and have an adventure, given your twin sister's desire to come; unfortunately, she won't be joining." Gandalf said with a broad smile, noticing the female's stern gaze softening as Amy instantly froze, realizing that the mention of that dwarf made her avoid his gaze. "He's coming as well? You know..."

He nodded in response, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Indeed, he is coming as well."

Amy's heart skipped a beat at the mention of HIM. Gandalf laid a comforting hand on her shoulder, his gaze steady. "I understand your interest in the journey, Amy. But remember, being in a world where no one has the knowledge and courage you have is something you can help make a difference. And who knows, perhaps facing your fears will help open your True potential."

She pondered Gandalf's words, her mind racing with conflicting emotions. Her desire for adventure warred with her dreams. But deep down, she knew her twin sister would have wanted her to come along and see them in real life; however, only Amy would go, so... yes, this journey could offer her a chance to have fun. Finally, she met Gandalf's gaze with determination.

"Alright," she said, failing to hide her excited voice, "I will join you on this journey."

Gandalf nodded approvingly, a twinkle in his eye. "See your logging at home, and I'll come in three days."

Amy was already excited about going on an adventure but frowned again. Gandalf noticed her worry and smiled gleefully, "Do not worry, my dear." He continued, "I already made sure you have lots of money to buy some supper."

At that, he left, after giving her a bag of money in her hand before disappearing into the forest.  This freaked her out a bit, but as soon as Gandalf was gone, Amy squealed and began to keep the money in her backpack while thinking in her thoughts:

'At least he didn't give me golden coins; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to explain to my mom and sister where it came from before they came back.' She sighed in relief and immediately took her phone and backpack and returned to her apartment, where she later entered her home. Locking the door, Amy began packing everything she'd need on the journey, as it would be a long way to get to Erebor.
