War Thunder is a free to play multiplayer vehicular combat game that lets you control and use some of histories most famous and infamous war time vehicles starting from before world war 2,early world war two,late world war 2,cold war and even the 1990's and is available to play on the computer (which is what it was originally intended for) the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

It was made and currently owned by Gajin entertainment a Russian gaming company who I think is currently residing in Russia.

War Thunder is a massive game with a massive amount of depth and realism in terms of armor profiles and vehicle models and is often compared to other war games especially world of tanks. Where it has a massive edge in terms of realism.

There is a massive amount of content within the game itself and you can use ground vehicles such as full blown main battle tanks, or even unarmored truck's holding anti air guns, you can also use aircraft ranging from pre world war 2 Biplanes to Vietnam war era F-4s and MIG 21's.

Two newcomers have arrived and that is the helicopters and ships.

Helicopters are expensive units to get and can only be unlocked by reaching rank five for both ground vehicles and aircraft and go from Vietnam war era Hueys to 1990 Apache gunships.

The ships are a special case as they stay around the same time period throughout the entire thing with the exception of one Japanese motor boat which is more modern.

They go from pre world war 2 motor torpedo boats to later world war 2 heavy cruisers no sadly aircraft carriers and submarines do not yet exist officially within the game.

But you never know with Gajin
