"How could you Dad?" I snarled, Clawedrodent stood over my mothers body, blood run from a large gash in her neck.

"I enjoyed killing all of them," Clawedrodent snarled back, "but I did it for you," 

The clan all gasped, my ears lay back, Hazelfall had her tail curled around Echokit and Stripedkit, protecting them from harm.

"What do you mean? You did it for me?" I questioned.

"Well, when I killed your brother, it was because it was him who put those slugs in your nest, so I killed him," Clawedrodent sneered.

I began to feel like a kit again, being threatened by Clawedrodent, with Seedmuzzle un able to do anything. I wanted to run and hide, shut out the world and stay there forever. I just hissed and leapt at him, he slashed a claw across my face, I wanted to yowl, but I didn't. I crashed into him, sending him tumbling. Clawedrodent leapt onto my back, pushing me to the ground, I rolled, and held him underneath he, trying to suffocate him. He pushed up with his hind legs, pushing me off. Then we both turned and leapt at each other's throats.
