"Oi, is there anyone else who's connected to Vegemite Malcolm?" Harper asked, marker still in hand, standing on the chair, looking over her shoulder down at Amerie, who was in obvious thought over the question.

"Uuh," Amerie drawled prior to realization dawning over her features and snapping her fingers together. "Yeah! Remember back in year eight when he was totally obsessed with Charlie and, in some weird ass attempt to get her attention, placed a sloppy ass kiss on Valerie?"

A scoffed laugh escaped Harper. "If you could even call that a kiss, his big ass vegemite lips were swallowing her entire nose and chin."

"Not to mention she also would've beat the absolute shit out of him if Mr. Ricker and Mr. Barson hadn't held her back after she kicked him in the dick and broke his damn nose with a single punch." Amerie added, an amused yet also impressed grin tugging at her lips.

"His nose is still crooked to this day." Harper commented with a similar expression to Amerie's. Next, the latter remarked, "I wouldn't be too surprised if we learned she also sterilized him with that kick."

The best friends erupted into laughter, and once it began to die down, Harper jumped off the chair, walked over to Amerie's pencil case to grab a color combo of black, deep red, and bright red.

Following that, the blonde made her way back to stand on the chair and began to write Valerie's name right underneath the obscene white liquid spurting out of the green colored penis Amerie had drawn a day prior.

Noticing where Harper was placing the name, Amerie chuckled out, "Wow, Harps."

The aforementioned simply looked over her shoulder with a cheeky grin, shrugging. "What? She's a total bitch."

"True." Amerie nodded, a smile gracing her lips as she joined her friend's side. "Or, as Malcolm would say, a satanic bitch."

Suddenly, a gasp escaped Harper, and she excitedly crouched down on the chair to eagerly squeeze Amerie's shoulder. "Holy fuck, that gives me an idea."

Then, without clarifying what she meant, she sprung back up and began doodling a devil tail and horns on the e of Valerie's name. Following that, Harper began writing a three-word phrase using the same bright red marker she used to draw the devil. Once done, Harper moved so Amerie could see what she wrote, and when the latter did, a guffaw left her lips.

"Oh my god!" Amerie exclaimed before reading aloud, "Satanic Yankee bitch." An impressed hum leaving her lips. "Genius."

"I know, right?"

After proudly saying that Harper grabbed a new arrangement of markers to draw Charlie's names with since Malcolm simped for her and that constituted her place onto the map. Meanwhile, an ingenious grin formed on Amerie's features prior to rushing over to grab a gold marker. Next, she quickly jumped onto the now empty chair, uncapped the marker, and drew a bright, thick line between Valerie and Spider.

"Woah," Harper blurted in surprise when spotting the new addition to the map. The sound of her voice prompting Amerie to jump back down whilst putting the marker cap back on.

"It's total bullshit obviously," Amerie started, pausing to playfully bump her shoulder against her friends, "but who doesn't love a good, enemies to lovers?"

Harper snorted, shaking her head. "I think Valerie would sooner commit mass murder than get with Spider, and honestly I don't blame her."

In response, Amerie softly laughed in agreement, nonchalantly shrugging her shoulders. "True, but I don't think there should be just one gold line up there. It makes the map look incomplete if there is."

"Eh, I guess," Harper shrugged in return, pulling an expression that said she did not disagree but didn't exactly agree either. Despite that, though, neither spoke about it; instead, they simply went back to their respective places: Harper atop the chair, drawing Charlie's name on the map with purple and pink markers, as Amerie stood on the floor watching.

Once Harper finished jotting Charlie's name down with a smartypants subtitle and doodle of underwear, she swiftly drew an arrow originating from Malcolm's name, with the arrowhead pointing at Charlie's. Then, after that, a pensive look overtook her features as her eyes unknowingly trailed down to Milo's name—it only being connected to one another person. That being Eleanor Lowell, whom he briefly dated in year eight but got dumped by after only two weeks of dating.

The reason behind that was that she didn't like how he was such close friends with three girls. In all honesty, Harper did feel bad for Milo after she heard about it, but she also figured Eleanor did him a favor by dumping him so fast because he didn't need to be dating someone like her anyway. Not when he was a gem amongst the coal of men attending Hartley.

However, perhaps Eleanor wasn't completely wrong—not about the cheating but about a possible future relationship between Milo and one of his female friends, most specifically the newest addition to the map, Charlie. See, a couple days ago, Harper was skipping math class since it was one of the few she didn't have any friends with. Then, as she was chilling in the girls locker room, she spotted both Milo and Charlie exiting the girls bathroom together, the latter's hair being a complete mess. To make matters worse Milo was also holding her close as she kept her head buried in his right side.

"Harps?!"

The sound of Amerie abruptly calling for her snapped Harper out of her train of thought.

"Oh, um, sorry," Harper muttered, shaking her head in order to fully snap herself out of the daze. "I was just remembering back when Milo and Eleanor dated."

A chortle escaped Amerie as she shook her head in a mixture of remembrance, disbelief, and humor. "A mess of a relationship that was."

"For real, poor guy kept getting screamed at by her every lunchtime...." Harper then began trailing off when she accidentally eyed Milo and Charlie's names, who were conveniently very close together. Following that, an abrupt, unsettling feeling erupted within her stomach as her chest tightened, expression falling.

Once again, Amerie called for her best friend's attention, but this time Harper managed to tune her out. So because of that, the brunette was utterly perplexed when Harper jumped off the chair, grabbed a black marker, a firm determination in her step when returning to her previous location atop the chair. Then following that she impulsively drew a thick, black, straight line connecting Milo and Charlie's names together.
