I was on the living room couch and I just finished texting (F/n) when I saw a feminine hand grab my phone out my hand.

"Zoe what the fuck!? Give me my fucking phone back!" I stood up from the couch and saw her reading the text conversation. Nosy bitch. "(N/n), huh? Who's that? Did you actually manage to somehow get a friend or something?" I managed to get my phone back and I stuffed it back into my pocket. "Why is that any of your fucking buisness? Don't you have your own life? Oh I forgot, you don't." I sat back down on the couch with a thud and Zoe leaned on the back of the couch and stared at me. "Why are you so protective of it?" She raised an eyebrow and I did the same in return. "The fuck do you mean?" I then saw her smirk and jump over the couch so she lands right next to me. Christ woman. "Is that your crush?"

"...what?" I just stare dumbly at her. "I asked: Is. That. Your. Crush. You got ears pothead, use them." She rolled her eyes and waited for my answer. "...why would you assume that? Are you really that bored with life?" She gave me a resting bitch face. "I think you forgot that your sass and sarcasm don't work on me. Also I'm asking cuz you had a big ass smile on your face while staring at your phone like an idiot. You NEVER smile!" She exclaimed like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "I was smiling? Yeah right. You better get your eyes checked Zoe. I don't get crushes. You out of all people should know this since you are my sister somehow." I start walking back to my room with my hands in my hoodie pockets. She steps in front of the stairs before I can even start going up.

Can someone kill me please? I'll even pay them.

"Zoe your whole existence is kinda blocking the fucking stairs." She rolls her eyes again. I hope they roll out her skull one day. "Introduce me to her." She deadpans. "What?" I asked as if I didn't hear her even though I did. "You heard me. Introduce me to her." She crosses her arms and I do the same. "How do you know it's a her? Maybe I'm gay? Ever thought about that? Hmm?" I completely avoided the topic. There is no way in HELL I'm introducing Zoe to (F/n). I'd rather spare her to be honest. "Look I don't care who you want to fuck or not. I just want to meet them. Also you just proved to me that you like this person."...FUCK MY LIFE! "For the last time I don't have a crush on her!" I yell this as I push past Zoe and walk to my room. I hear Zoe call after me. "Thanks for revealing her gender!" I feel my face heat up so I cover my head with my hoodie and pull the strings so you can only see my eyes. "Fuck you Zoe." I grumble as I walk into my room.

There is no way in Hell I'm crushing on (F/n) anytime soon.

The author of this book just stared at what Connor said on her phone. "Are you sure about that? Oh shit I broke the fourth wall. Ughhh where's the glue?"

(I bet you weren't expecting that one huh?)

Since pothead didn't want to intoduce me to (N/n) then I guess I'll have to meet her myself. I've been following Connor from afar in a way that he wouldn't see me since he started going to school. As I followed him inside I saw him smile and walk up to a girl with (H/c), (H/l) hair, (E/c) eyes and (S/t) skin. I watched them talk to each other until two more guys walked over to them. As I was looking at them a voice snapped me out from my trance. "Who are you staring at?" I looked to my right and Alana was there looking at me with a curious expression.

Damnit not now!!!

"I'm not staring at anyone, also this is kind of a bad time!" I told her while I went back to looking at the group. "Look it's painfully obvious you're lying. I'm the same way when caught in a lie so I'd know. Do spill the tea please." I sighed. I can't say no to her since she's one of the only real friends I have in this school. "You see my brother and those other three?" I pointed at them with my thumb to show her where to look. "Yeah? Why?" She said confused. "Can you tell me who they are? Especially the girl." Alana raised an eyebrow at me. "Sure but why do you wanna know? You've never been overprotective of you bro before so-" "I am not overprotective of him!!!" I realise how loud I said that and look at the group of four to see if they heard me but luckily thet didn't. I look back at a wide eyed Alana. "Okay...I think I got the message. You didn't have to shout if that was the truth you know." I groaned at her response. "Look whatever just who are they?" Alana took a glace at the group and turned back to me. " Ok the guy with glasses is Jared Kleinman. He's kind of an asshole but he's not too bad. The guy with the cast on his arm is Evan Hansen. He's kind of an outsider and this is one of the first times I've seen him talk to people." Evan huh? Didn't I see him at one of my band concerts or something?? Alright whatever I can think about that later. "Alright got it but who's the girl?" She made a face before responding. "That's (F/n) (L/n). Throughout these past years if high school she didn't talk to people from what I saw but I guess her plans changed this year." Alright I finally got her name, that's good.

The bell rang and the group dispersed. (F/n) walked in a different direction to the guys so this is a perfect chance to talk to her. "Alright Alana I gotta go, we'll talk after school!" I gave her a quick one handed hug before I ran after (F/n). As I got close I slowed down so she wouldn't think I was some freak. "Hey what's your name? I'm Zoe." I smiled at her and she looked at me wide eyed. "Umm I'm (F/n)...aren't you Connor's sister?" Does Connor talk about me? Only bad things I bet since he's an asshole. "Yeah I am. Hope my brother isn't being too much of a dick towards you." I say with a sigh to keep a clueless act. "He isn't. Anyway I gotta get going to class, maybe we can talk afterwards?" Damnit school you're ruining my plans. "We won't have a lot of time to talk during school. How about we get some ice cream? My treat!" This might be straightforward but I wanna get to know her. "Oh uhhh sure I guess. I'll meet you by the entrance of the school then?" She's pretty awkward I've noticed. Guess she doesn't talk to new people often. "Yeah sure! See you after classes!" I patted her shoulder and went to my class.

Okay Zoe you did a thing. Let's hope I don't fuck this up though.

Wow I had a lot of inspiration today. I'm staring to feel pretty good about this book!
