season one, episode three
( someone saved my life tonight )

"Have you ever been in love before, Eddie?" Camila asked Eddie. They were previously playing with Julia. Billy had walked up the steps to the house asking if they were okay with each other.

Eddie looked up at Camila before he looked away at Audrey. She was with Karen as the two were baking some cookies. They were at the dining table making the batter.

Camila noticed his glance at Audrey before she turned back to Eddie. "She really loves you, you know."

It was only about a few months since Eddie and Audrey told the band that they were dating. Eddie nodded his head to Camila. She gave a smile to him before she went back to play with Julia.

Audrey was holding Julia as Camila rushed to grab her camera. It was Christmas and the whole group had gotten each other gifts.

Audrey placed Julia's face to her cheek as Camila smiled and took a photo of the two.

Eddie watched as Audrey and Julia were together. Eddie stood up and he walked over to Audrey and the baby Dunne.

"I always thought about having this," Audrey glanced up to Eddie. Eddie lifted a smile onto his face as he watched her give Julia kisses.

"Yeah?" Eddie replied as he placed down his drink on the fireplace. "Yeah, being a mom has always been one of my dreams." Audrey laughed as she faced Eddie.

"I'm not trying to be like my mom," Audrey told Eddie as he touched her shoulder. Audrey looked at his hand on her shoulder before gazing up at him.

"You're not gonna be. You'll be a great mom," Eddie comforted the Belmore girl in front of him.

A brief smile rested on her face. "You'll be better than all the moms," Eddie let out a laugh. Audrey scrunched up her face.

"Not a better one than Camila," Her eyes widened as she let out those words, Audrey let out a hushed laugh.

"Eh, maybe for me you will," Eddie replied. Audrey's eyes go up to his, she was met with his charming smile.

"You really think about having a kid with me?" Eddie nodded, "Just not right now, maybe later on." He added to the conversation. "I'd really like that," She places a kiss on his lips. Audrey walked away to Camila.

Camila placed her camera down after she grabbed Julia. "What'd you get?" Audrey asked, Eddie smiled at her before showing her a coat that Warren had gotten her.

"Here," Audrey walked over to the table before grabbing the present she had gotten him. Eddie furrowed his brows but took the present from her.

He opened it to find a guitar strap he's been wanting for a while. He gasped before he threw the coat next to him before placing his drink down and smiling to Audrey.

"I love you! Thank you, Dina." Eddie cheered as he placed a long kiss on her lips.

Audrey chuckled before she was handed a little box from Eddie. "Open it when we're alone, please." Audrey nodded.

Camila had handed her a box. Audrey smiled to the camera as Eddie peeked into the camera and waved before backing up and smiling. Audrey had opened the box to see a handbag full of tons of gifts.

Audrey had brought the bag up to the camera before telling Camila: thank you.

Around 8 PM, Billy had putten Julia to sleep. He had emerged from the other room telling the band that Julia was finally asleep.

They all laughed quietly. "Come and have some fun!" Karen cheered as everyone cheered with her. Camila was smoking a joint. She barely passed it to the others but passed it from time to time to Audrey.

"Look, I, uh... I'd like to play something for you if you're open to it." Billy stated as they stared in awe. "I understand if you're not."

"We're not." Eddie chuckled as he replied sarcastically. They all turned their gaze to Eddie, including Audrey.

"We're not. Right, guys?" Eddie turned his eyes to Audrey who now was resting her chin on her palms. "I mean..."

He motioned his hand to Billy who stood with his hands on his waist. "Oh, come on. You can't do this. Dina, tell them,"

Audrey let out a sigh before she shrugged her shoulder, "Let's just see what he has to offer, Eddie," Audrey replied. "He can't just... just walk back in here like nothing happened."

"You're right. I'm sorry." Billy sent an apologetic look to Eddie as he left to go check on Julia.

They all turn their gaze to Eddie who put down his drink. He furrowed his brows before he let out a exhale.

"Hey, asshole," Eddie called out as Billy glanced over at him. "Play the damn song."

INTERVIEWER: Why did you stay?

EDDIE: I asked myself that all the damn time. [Eddie let out a sigh before he chuckled] But I think we know the answer to that.

KAREN: Next thing we know, we're booked into the studio.

WARREN: Teddy thought a female vocalist might've given us an edge.

AUDREY: Teddy was working with some new. It was a bonus for Karen and me, we wouldn't be the only girls on the scene.

EDDIE: We never heard of her then. I mean, no one had.

GRAHAM: Billy... wasn't thrilled.

BILLY: [chuckles]

DAISY JONES ( lead singer/songwriter, Daisy Jones and The Six ): [smiles]

"Hi." Daisy walks into the room with a long sleeve button-up, and shorts that were covered by her shirt.

Eddie and Warren look to each other, Warren was looking at her legs while Teddy was talking to Daisy.

"Great. Could I have a glass of milk and a whiskey?" Daisy asked as she dropped her bag onto the floor. Daisy looked around at the band, then at Teddy and Tobias.

"Or just a whiskey, if you don't have milk. Or just milk if you don't have whiskey." Teddy and Tobias walk into the other room.

Audrey noticed the girl from somewhere, she didn't remember where but she remembered the red hair.

"So happy to see you, Daisy," Karen speaks out breaking Audrey's train of thought. "Thanks for having me."

"I really like your song." Daisy says to the rest of the band, "Hopefully your vocals do it justice," Audrey shoots a smile to Daisy as she nodded.

Billy emerges from the other room putting out a cigarette out on the ashtray. "Okay let's do this."

Warren pats Billy on the back as they all exit the sound room leaving Daisy and Billy together.

They watch as Daisy speaks into the microphone.

"Hello? Hello? That's a little bit loud."

Graham and Warren furrow their brows as Eddie lights a joint. "What, has she never recorded before?" Graham asked to Karen.

"She's about to," Warren replied as Audrey took the joint from Eddie. Eddie glanced at her, "You need to tell me when you get these, Warren likes to keep them to himself." Audrey muttered to Eddie.

"Could we turn these off, or lower them a little? They're..."

"Yeah, where are her pants?" Eddie asked. Audrey doesn't move her head but her eyes on Eddie. "Does it concern you?" Audrey asked not looking to Eddie.

"Who cares," Warren replied being turned on by Daisy's pants-less outfit. Graham lets out a chuckle and Karen slaps his chest. "Shut up you two,"

"Okay, Billy, can we give us a level please?" Teddy had asked to him.

"I don't know who I am."

"Okay, that's good. And Daisy?" Teddy had asked once more. The band watched Daisy through the glass.

"Baby, baby, baby."

Teddy had nodded before he looked to Tobias, "Okay, let's get this started. This is 'Honeycomb,' take one." Teddy announced as Tobias pressed the recorder.

As Billy starts to sing one line, through the glass they could see Daisy frantically tapping Billy on the shoulder. They couldn't hear Daisy nor Billy speaking.

All they could see was pointing and glancing to the band. "Is she talking about us?"

Warren puts out a chuckle, "It's our song." Eddie nodded, "Right?"

Karen and Audrey look at each other before Karen speaks, "Let's just give her some space don't you think?"

Audrey nodded, "Yeah, I think Debbie might be working today," Warren's eyebrows go up, "Debbie's working today? Oh, shit." Karen and Audrey watched as they open the door and leave the room.

Karen walks over and shuts the door. Eddie peeks through the door seeing Audrey and Karen shoo them off.

"Okay, 'Honeycomb,' take two." Teddy renounced. Karen and Audrey both look at Daisy and smile at her.

Daisy returns the smile. Billy started to sing his words but Daisy had a different chorus to the song which made Billy stop the song and have them argue through the mic.

"Those aren't the lyrics that you're, uh, singing. Uh, d-do you need me to write 'em down? Can I get a pen?"

"I mean, I know what the lyrics are."

"Well, then, why aren't you singing them?"

"I am singing them."

Daisy hands her lyric book to Billy who takes it and reads Daisy's version of 'Honeycomb.' Daisy looks through the glass to see the two girls looking at each other.

"You didn't see this? He didn't get this?"

"What the fuck is this, Teddy?"

Teddy lets out a breath before responding to Billy, "Billy, why don't we give her version a go and see how it sings?"

"Her version's like a completely different song, Teddy."

The two argue back and forth about the song. Daisy had asked him what the song was about, he paused for a minute.

"Do you think she's always like this?" Audrey asked Karen from the chair as they passed the joint. "It looks good on her," Karen replied.

Billy storms out of the room. They all pile after him walking to where Eddie, Warren, Graham, and Debbie were.

"What the hell man?" Billy asked groaning after. Karen and Audrey sit down on the couch. Audrey handed Warren the joint for him to finish.

Eddie called over Audrey who got up and sat next to him on the floor. "What's going on with Billy?" He asked he leans his head onto her.

"Daisy just... changed the lyrics to, Billy's song," Audrey replied to him as she focused on the show that played on the television.

Eddie and Warren stand up from the couch walking to the wall. "I don't know man. First, we're letting him back in like it's nothing, now he's got us singing songs with some chick?"

Karen scoffs at this, "Who you calling 'chick?' I'm a chick." She leans back. "So am I? Or am I just your boyfriend now like Warren here?" Audrey teases.

"Shut up," Eddie snorted and Warren let out a laugh. Teddy emerges out from the hallway. "Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Heartbreak of the track. Good work."

"Glad you dig it," Eddie replied. "Ladies. I value your kind of skills." Teddy added making the two girls smile.

Before Teddy walks away he turns back to Audrey. "Oh and Dina," Teddy announced. Audrey perks up at her nickname.

"Your talent with that Rhythm Guitar..." Teddy sucks his teeth. "...it doesn't come on many girls like you,"

Audrey showed her biggest smile as Teddy nodded his head to her as he left. "Glad to know someone appreciates my skill," Audrey said to the group.

"Hey! I appreciate your skill," Karen chimes in. "I think you're the best guitarist in the band." Karen scrunched up her face sending a grin to Audrey.

Eddie and Graham's jaws dropped, "We're right here!" Eddie replied as Graham shoved away Audrey playfully.

"In Karen's world you are the best," Graham muttered, Audrey lifted a brow, "Oh is that right?" Audrey chuckled at Graham.

Graham put his hands up in defense. "Fine, in our world you're the best," Eddie rolled his eyes before he smirked to Audrey.
