season one, episode nine
( feels like the first time )

WARREN: We had the biggest album in the country. We were nominated for a bunch of fucking Grammys. We were on Saturday Night Live! I mean...

EDDIE: It's called a "moment" for a reason, though, right?

AUDREY: That "moment" was just too stressful.

Audrey finally had her dream of being on SNL. She was in New York, once her old home.

She felt good again like she could go visit her old family home without the traumatic memories of her mother.

Some of the members tumbled off the bus, half of the band drunk from partying on the way there. Audrey stepped off the bus with Katherine beside her, and a few fans called out to her.

Audrey stepped into a family that had shirts of her and the rest of the band. "I like the shirt," Audrey spoke to them.

The mother of the family chuckled, "This picture was my favorite performance."

"Hopefully, this SNL performance could be the next favorite."

The whole family smiled at her as she took a sharpie out of her pocket before asking where they wanted her autograph.

"On the sleeve would be fine." The father said, moving his shoulder to Audrey where she could sign it.

Katherine snapped a picture of her singing the family's shirt as she smiled. Audrey soon got the youngest member. "I'll sign it right here, okay?"

Audrey pointed to the top of the photo, singing it where the girl could see it. She smiled as Audrey soon winked at her and walked away.

She had seen Eddie smirk at a few girls as he soon spotted her before she rolled her eyes, Eddie sighed as he went back to signing girls' things.

"And we're live in six... five... four..."

"Ladies and gentlemen, my new favorite band, Daisy Jones and The Six." Lisa Crowne announced.

Audrey had been breathing the same air as fucking Lisa Crowne! Her dream is to meet a famous actress but to also be on SNL. A dream come true.

Warren had played the intro count of 'Aurora' as they began to play. Audrey felt the light shine on the whole band as Daisy began to sing and feel the real world get calmer.

Audrey loved how quiet the crowd was. She could focus more on the song being more smoother, and sounding better.

Daisy was now moving the tambourine, clapping it with hands. She soon started to jump around feeling like herself as the camera moved to each member them being focused on the song.

Audrey smiled as she saw the camera on Eddie, his face feeling into the music.

The crowd cheers for them, as they soon play the end to the song. The crowd cheered for them as Audrey grinned at the crowd waving a hand to the crowd as Daisy kept panting from moving around.

Beers clink around the room, Audrey, Eddie, Katherine, Warren, and Graham all taking a drink.

"Good job guys!" Katherine announced, "That was something else," Warren stammered with his words before looking back to Lisa Crowne.

"Um, listen, I'll be right back." Warren patted Eddie on the back as he made his way to Lisa.

Audrey's heart sank as she saw Warren make his way to Lisa. Katherine clicked her tongue before she bit the inside of her cheek taking a long drink.

"Go, Warren," Eddie muttered as he looked to Katherine who had a hurt look on her face. Audrey slapped his shoulder.

"Not cool," Audrey muttered.

"Sorry."

Katherine scoffed as Warren could be seen laughing with Lisa. "Oh, dear, God," Katherine muttered as she felt heartbreak.

"Hey, I mean it happens, I guess he didn't want to wait forever for you," Graham replied, as he soon pursed his lips.

"Actually... you're right, Graham, I've been playing hard to get," Katherine replied as they heard calls for a medic or an ambulance.

"What's happened?" Karen asked coming back to the group. "It's Teddy. Something happened,"

Daisy rushed back in as the remaining members all placed their drinks on the nearest countertop rushing and following after Daisy.

Midnight rolled around, and the whole group of people were sat in the lobby waiting for news on Teddy.

Audrey had her head on Eddie's shoulder, their hands intertwined.

AUDREY: And here I thought I was done with him.

Both of their hands were now in palm sweat. Eddie didn't seem to care and nor did Audrey, they were just nervous for Teddy.

Katherine kept her distance from Warren as she felt the ultimate betrayal from him. He kept sending apologetic looks to her.

The doctor soon came in and everyone rushed to their feet. "There was a blockage in the blood flow to his heart."

"What does that mean?" Billy asked as Audrey perched up, "Wait so you're saying he had a lack of oxygen?"

The doctor nodded, "That's correct, but, he is stable." The whole group had let out a exhale in relaxation. Billy brought his hands up to his head as Daisy brought a hand to her chest.

"Thank, God," Audrey muttered as she sat back down on the chair, Eddie following after her.

GRAHAM: I remember after that a sense of calm.

KAREN: The usual band stuff. Nothing really out of the ordinary.

EDDIE: Other than Warren dating a movie star.

AUDREY: I felt so bad for Katherine.

KATHERINE: I coped through it by almost tearing all the pictures I had of him.

WARREN: I was dating a movie star!

AUDREY: I was happy for Warren, but I felt awful for Kathy. I mean she had told me a few days ago that she officially liked him!

Karen had walked slowly beside Audrey the two girls were recently going through something but didn't know what to say to each other.

Karen had pulled Audrey aside, to an empty corridor. "I have news." Her voice broke.

"What's wrong?" Audrey asked, "I'm pregnant." Karen spoke out as Audrey's mouth dropped.

"That's great! I mean... you want the kid right?" Audrey asked holding onto her hand. Karen shook her head, her eyes going watery.

"I don't. I never kids," Karen confessed, "but I know Graham does. I can't do it, Dina. I'm not quitting the band to raise a baby." Karen added.

Audrey nodded, "If you need anything I'm right here. I'll help you get through this."

Karen sniffles before she brought Audrey into a hug, "Come on, we're going home." Audrey smiled as they walked.

"Fucking, Pittsburgh." Karen scoffed, she remembered the first time she met Graham. "It won't be as bad."

"Yeah, but you'll see Camila." Karen blurted out as Audrey nodded slowly.

"Fucking, Pittsburgh."

Pittsburgh.

Stepping off the jet, Audrey spotted her dad right as the plane landed. She smiled as she quickly pushed passed everyone on the jet before rushing to her dad.

"Dad!" She giggled as she jumped into his arms, "I missed you, Dina!" He replied.

She grinned as she jumped back to the floor, she soon turned back to see Katherine and Daisy standing out of place.

She looked at her dad as he watched the other four known members with their parents. She whistled to the two girls calling them over.

"Dad, this is Katherine and Daisy," She introduced the two girls as they walked closer to them, "My best friends."

Daisy smiled before Audrey's dad pulled her into a hug, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Belmore." Daisy smiled as her dad clicked his tongue.

"Please, call me, Charlie," Charlie announced as Daisy nodded before Katherine went in for a hug.

Audrey looked back to Eddie who was hugging his grandma and mom before he noticed her.

Audrey waved her hand as she went back to her father with her two best friends.

"How have you been, Dina?" Charlie asked, she nodded her head back to Charlie, "I've been good Dad! I recently broke things off with my boyfriend." She smiled as Charlie went wide-eyed.

"You had a boyfriend?" Charlie asked as Daisy and Katherine knew it was their queue to leave.

Audrey nodded as she pointed to Eddie as he scoffed, "You dated, blond boy?" Charlie asked as Audrey pursed her lips.

"Yeah, I broke things off 'cause he basically cheated on me." She replied as Charlie rolled his eyes.

AUDREY: My dad never really liked Eddie.

"I never liked him, ever since he came into my house to pick you up to move to California in the rain, I knew he was a bad fit."

Audrey clicked her tongue before Charlie spoke out, "What about that one guy I set you up with... you really liked him." Charlie snapped his fingers non-stop.

"Cameron?" Audrey replied. She didn't know how she remembered his name, it was years since she last saw him but a thing in her mind came to click.

Charlie exclaimed as he nodded his head, "Yeah! Cameron! Mrs. Dunne is hosting a welcome home party, why doesn't he come there? You could see him again."

Audrey went wide-eyed as she soon nodded, "Sure, Dad."

"Oh wait! I could call him up and send you guys around town to catch up, maybe even finish that date."

"Okay."

Audrey was seated by a wooden bench as Katherine was staring down intensely at Warren.

Cameron had finally gotten his dream to reconnect with the girl he'd been crushing on for years. Even as she was dating Eddie!

Cameron was facing his back towards where Lisa, Warren, and everyone else were, Audrey had been pouring some wine as Eddie saw her.

He glanced at her before she smiled softly at him before going back to talking to Cameron, "Want some more wine?" She asked as Cameron nodded.

"Yeah! Of course." He smiled and so did she. Eddie stood there for a second watching Audrey laugh with the guy seated in front of her.

They hadn't talked since the Boston performance, but they still snuck glances at each other. Katherine soon looked at Audrey.

It had been awkward with Camila being around Audrey. Audrey ignored looking her way to Camila, and even when Daisy was around Audrey.

Camila would turn the other way.

Daisy soon went with Julia as soon Camila came by to Daisy.

"Cam. Kathy, and I will be right back," Audrey stood up dragging Katherine with her. "I see an old friend from high school. It'll be really quick."

Audrey had spotted Chuck Loving standing alone with a beer in his hand. She quickly made her way towards Chuck as she called out his name.

"Chuck? Is that you?" Audrey asked her hand going on his back. "Audrey! Oh my gosh, how long has it been?"

"A few years, man," Warren came by as so did everyone from Chuck's childhood all came around him.

"Audrey, how have you been?" Chuck asked ignoring Warren's words. "I've been good, haven't seen you around town when I went out earlier."

Chuck clicked his tongue. He nodded his head slowly before he replied, "Oh yeah, but I saw you and my co-worker Cameron walking around town though, he's a really great guy. You should go for it!"

Eddie scoffed as Audrey glanced at him to see his jealousy struck back into his veins. She sucked her teeth.

"I'll give it a try."

Katherine had enough of this awkward tension between Audrey and Eddie before she asked about Chuck.

He explained how he had gotten his doctorate and soon became Dr. Loving.

"Wait, so you go by Dr. Loving now?" Eddie asked as Chuck nodded, "DDD. Doctors Dental Services."

Warren sang to Chuck mocking his Dr name. "I love that, man. It sounds like a skin flick." Warren chuckled.

"Well, good on you, man." Graham congratulated Chuck. "You built a nice life here,"

Chuck nodded, "Yeah, thanks. Yeah, I mean, sometimes I think about if I stayed in the band, but then I think I got something you guys will never have..."

Audrey furrowed her brows, "What?"

"Financial security," Chuck muttered out which made Audrey snort before she quickly covered her mouth.

"Why don't we uh..." Graham chuckled, "Get, Chuck here, another beer?"

"Warren, do you mind showing me where they are?" Katherine tilted her head, Graham knew what Katherine was going to do alone with this and he soon played along.

"Yeah, I think there's some in the house," Graham replied. Warren furrowed his brows, "They should be in the cooler." He pointed to the red cooler where Cameron was.

Graham shook his head, "Just show her where the beers are in the house, man."

"Fine, fine okay."

Katherine sent Audrey a wink as Audrey knew what she was going to do. Audrey and Eddie watched as they made their way to the inside of the house.

Audrey could hear a lock sound so no one could barge into the house as what Katherine was about to do.

The band was huddled in a group, "I can't speak for all of you..."

The crowd could be heard chanting. Charlie, Audrey's dad was finally in the crowd, looking over to see something his daughter had achieved.

"...But I sure as hell wouldn't trade it for anything," Billy added as Audrey smiled. "Thank you."

"All, right, who are we playing for tonight?" Graham asked looking at the whole band.

"For family, 'Pittsburgh' on three," Billy announced, as all their hands go to the center of the circle.

As the whole band shouts Pittsburgh, they raise their hands before walking onto the stage.

Daisy had been singing, 'Regret Me.' Audrey played the notes as Daisy soon took the microphone off the stand before walking over to Audrey.

Billy smiled through the microphone as he sang, he watched Audrey yell her heart out to the microphone making Charlie go louder in the crowd.

She closed one her mouth as one of the verses came to an end, Daisy finally jumping around and moving back to Billy.

The song came to an end, as the whole crowd cheered, "Thank you, Pittsburgh!" Billy yelled into the microphone.

Everyone placed their instruments down, as Warren jumped off the stage, as the rest of the remaining members made their way to Daisy and Billy.

Audrey stood beside Graham, Audrey smiling like crazy as they all placed their arms either on their shoulders or on their waist.

They soon did a bow as they all waved goodbye to the crowd. Audrey noticed Cameron in the crowd which made him blow a kiss to her. She smiled at him before she waved goodbye to him.

Eddie noticed this, as he walked off the stage, taking a beer from a guy.

It was time for Eddie's solo. Audrey made her way close enough to Eddie as he was handed his guitar.

He placed down his beer before he tried to grab it. Billy stopped him as he asked, "Can I take this one?"

He jerked his head in the direction of the stage as Eddie furrowed his brows and blinked confused.

Audrey pursed her lips as she brought a hand up to wipe the sweat off her face. Warren handed Audrey, Eddie's beer as she thanked Warren before handing it to Eddie.

"Here," Audrey announced, as Eddie didn't look at her as he just stared off into the stage as he grabbed the beer.

EDDIE: You got understand, going about your life like that, you know, feeling like a second-class citizen in a first-class resort... [smacks lips] It messes with you. It messed with me.

Audrey decided that night, she would head to Eddie's grandma's house to comfort him. She borrowed her dad's car to drive her way to Eddie's house.

She had her things packed right after the performance, making sure if anything happened between her and Eddie tonight.

She had made a few turns, a few straight ways down but soon made it to his grandmother's house.

She stepped out of the car, turning off the headlights, looking in the rearview mirror making sure she looked okay for him.

She brought her bag with her, her boots dragging along on the cement of the walkway, her father's keys dropping into her bag.

She walked up the three steps to the porch, knocking on the door. His grandmother came into view.

"Audrey! Dear, I haven't seen you in so long. How have you been?" His grandmother asked. Audrey's mouth was twisted into a small smile.

"I'm alright, Mrs. Roundtree! Thanks for asking, how have you been?" She replied, fixing the sleeves of her fur coat.

His grandmother nodded before she waved a hand to bring her into the house. "You can just drop your coat here, Eddie is upstairs in his old room."

Audrey nodded as she placed her bag on the floor, her coat heading onto the coat rack.

She noticed a few family pictures of Eddie when he was younger. A few of them including Audrey in them. She smiled as she walked up the stairs of the house before making a right to his room.

Eddie was laying down sideways on his bed. He was facing the window as Audrey leaned onto the beam of the door.

She knocked on the door which made Eddie turn his head to see a brunette girl, with a relaxed expression on her face.

"Dina." He muttered as he got to his feet, Audrey smiled at him saying the nickname as he motioned for her to shut the door.

"You okay?" She asked, walking closer to him. Eddie nodded his head before his lip began quivering.

"It was supposed to be my moment, Dina." Eddie sobbed as Audrey wrapped her arms around his neck.

She nodded to him, "I know, I know. But Eddie, Billy has always been stealing our moments. He stole mine by not letting me have any parts of the first album before Aurora."

"Yeah, because you told him about it," Eddie replied, Audrey raised a brow.

"That's why, Eddie. You have to tell him about it. Go off on him for all I care. I'm almost done with this fucking band before I leave to start my own singing career."

Eddie furrowed his brows, "You're going to leave?" Audrey pursed her lips, she brought him to the bed.

She nodded once she did, "Yeah, I've been thinking about it, Teddy has also asked me about it." She soothed down her jeans. "It's taking me some time, but I think I'm going to do it after a few performances."

Eddie let out a sigh, "I'm done with the band too. Fuck him, and fuck this band."

Audrey smirked, "Exactly, glad to know we're on the same page."

"Come with me, come leave the band with me." Eddie testified, grabbing her hands. "I will, Eddie. I just want to be here for a few more performances."

Eddie scoffed, "I want to leave right after Chicago. That's when I'll tell Billy everything."

"Even about, Camila?" Audrey asked as Eddie smacked his lips before nodding. "Yeah..."

Audrey nodded her head slowly as she looked at Eddie's lips. He was tempted but he finally gave in.

The way he gave in to the kiss was short. He leaned his head to hers as she tilted it. His lips had always been soft, his hand always clutching onto her thigh.

He guided her to the bed as he laid her down on her back, his hand resting on the back of her head, her arms wrapping around his neck.

Eddie parted out of the kiss, "Are you sure you want to do this again?" Eddie asked as Audrey pulled him back in.

"Definitely." She muttered into the kiss before she flipped them over as she straddled on him.

She broke out of his, before she removed her top, leaving her in her bra. Eddie chuckled as one of his hands laid on her thigh near her entrance.

She soon chuckled to him as she leaned back down into the kiss as Eddie flipped her over back onto the bed before he removed his shirt, leaving the two only in their jeans.

Audrey smiled before pulling him back down into the kiss and going on with their session.

EDDIE: ( Eddie let's put out a chuckle as he soon looked to the floor )

AUDREY: [sighs]

Audrey awoke this morning next to Eddie, her arms wrapped around him as his face hid into the crook of her neck.

She smiled before she looked down onto the floor, seeing their clothes everywhere. She chuckled to herself as she tried to wake Eddie up.

"Wake up," She muttered into his ear as he groaned, "Come on, Eddie. We're going to miss the jet," Audrey added as Eddie lifted his head.

"Wait...? Does this mean we're back together?" Eddie asked in his raspy voice remembering what they did last night.

Audrey laughed, "Maybe," She replied, "I still need the time to process what you did." Eddie rolled his eyes, "I thought we were past that after the sex."

"This is the first time we had make-up sex," Audrey replied as she grabbed his old shirt on the floor.

"Well, there can be many more." Eddie pipped as he placed on the shirt. "No, there can't..."

"What do you mean?" Eddie asked Audrey looked at him as she placed on her jeans. "I'm seeing someone."

Eddie stopped whatever he was doing, "It's Cameron, isn't it?" Eddie asked as Audrey glanced at him.

She nodded slowly. "So, basically you just fucked me, without telling me you're seeing someone?" Eddie growled as Audrey scoffed.

"You're acting like you didn't cheat on me with Camila!" She yelled back, the room now filled with yells.

"I told you it was a mistake!" Eddie hissed back.

"Then I guess this was a mistake!"

Eddie's heart sank, "What?" His voice now getting lower. "You heard me," Audrey mumbled down.

Eddie placed a hand to his face, "Get out." He mumbled under his hand. Audrey tilted her head. She couldn't understand what he had said.

"I said get out!" Eddie roared his grandmother now coming into the room asking what happened.

Eddie looked to his grandmother and then to Audrey who was now grabbing her bag and shoving all her things into her bag.

She still had on one of Eddie's shirts as she stormed out of the room, her socks only on her feet as she rushed out of the house, forgetting her coat and making her way to her father's house.

Audrey had stuffed a bunch of bottles of her dad's alcohol in an extra suitcase, as she handed it to one of the people who placed the bags in the jet.

"Wheels up in two minutes!" Rod had yelled out. Audrey was wishing, Cameron and Charlie a goodbye.

Cameron placed a kiss on Audrey's lips, "I'll see you after the tour, you can come back home if you'd like, you can move in."

Audrey placed her arms around Cameron, a soft smile placed on her lips. "Of course, Cam. I'd love that."

Cameron pecked at her lips, Audrey hadn't forgotten what happened between her and Eddie. Why'd you think she stuffed all her dad's alcohol in the bag?

She had tried to cover the hurt in her with a big smile as she hugged her father before she walked away taking the bag the guy with the other luggage had been holding.

She rushed onto the jet, making her way to the far front and she popped open the bottle of Jack Daniel's before placing it in her mouth.

She saw Eddie staring out the window, she had must've realized that he was staring at her the whole time she was with Cameron and Charlie.

She sat down on the chair across from Eddie, him still staring out the window, watching Camila and Billy wish their goodbyes to Billy's mother.

Camila had a stern look on her face like she finally realized what she had created between Audrey and Eddie.

She was still hurt and wondering if anything was going on with Billy and Daisy, but she was right.

She had noticed Billy and Daisy outside of Mrs. Dunne's house in the backyard having their foreheads next to each other.

Katherine was going home to see her family before the Chicago performance, she had finally gotten with Warren, and she was going to meet them there, with their town being close to Chicago.

Warren had leaned back into his seat, smiling as he watched Katherine blow him a kiss and walk away. "I like her, man."

"She's awesome," Graham replied as he asked what Eddie thought about Warren dating Katherine. Eddie ignored them and watched as Audrey said, "At least, you finally got the girl."

Audrey had placed the drink onto her lips sipping it a bit. Eddie watched her as she did, he was still mad about Audrey and Eddie having sex was a "mistake."

His face getting more tense as he heard Warren say, "I'm gonna marry that woman."

Audrey snorted at this as she looked back out the window as Karen came into view. "Mind if I get some of that, Audrey?"

Camila asked, Audrey turned her head to her as Audrey nodded her head, handing the bottle to Camila.

Billy watched as she did, trying to hide Julia from seeing her mother drink alcohol in front of Julia. She handed it back to Audrey and she soon downed half the bottle.

Audrey looked back out the window, her legs bouncing up and down as Eddie eyed her. She could see her father and her boyfriend...? She didn't know what to call him at this point, walk away.

"Next stop, Chicago, Illinois!" Rod cheered as he stepped onto the plane, sitting down next to Karen and Graham.

Eddie kept his gaze on Audrey as the plane began to take off.

The four of them, Audrey, Karen, Eddie, and Camila had been going through something made just made the whole band and marriage fall apart.

Audrey licked her lips before she closed the bottle of Jack Daniels and threw the bottle into the bag full of alcohol.

She soon looked at Eddie who turned his gaze away from her looking out the window. She tilted her head as she placed an elbow on the armrest before looking back out the window.
