Jack's POV
"Ow, ow, ow!" I screamed as they kicked and punched me. Soon enough, I was lying on the floor, covered in cuts and bruises. I just lay down until someone helped me. "Hey, are you okay?" They asked and pulled me up. "Yeah, I am." I replied softly. He replied, "I'm Felix, what's your name?" "Sean, but call me Jack," I muttered. "Well, welcome to Sallyester High School!" (Not real school) Felix said joyfully, "Those guys who beat you up are just the popular kids, and they are just plain old mean to new kids." Then I mumbled, "But what if, *sigh*, you have a crush on one of them?" Felix gasped, "No way. Why? I mean they're mean. Which one?" I replied softly, "The one with the red hair and chocolatey brown eyes. He is very handsome" Felix nodded, "I understand, he is, and almost all the girls have a crush on him. He is a jock as well. The others are Bob and Wade." Then I asked, "Which one's Bob and which one is Wade?" He pointed to them, "That one's Bob, and that one's Wade." "Thank you," I said, "Well, do you want to be friends?" Felix grinned, "Of course! I don't like seeing people being bullied or excluded." I grinned along with him. I guess I made a new friend.

Mark's POV
I smiled as we were playing after we beat him up, but it was fake. Inside me I just wanted to go back and apologise, or travel back in time to tell me not to do that. I realised that, I have *gulp* a crush on him. I guess it was his looks. Then, I heard his voice. It's so cute, now I think he's Irish or something because of the accent. I turned around to see Felix helping him and talking. I am happy that the boy was getting help. Then I heard him say, his name was, it started with j. Anyways, I turn back to my friends, Bob and Wade, and put a real smile on, just because j___ was getting help.

Time skip

Jack's POV
Dear diary,
I am about to go to lunch. I have made a new friend at the start of school! He is in most classes with me but not all of them. Hopefully, I can make more friends.

*ding ding* Time for lunch break. I take out my cafeteria pass and head to the cafeteria. I meet up with Felix after I get my food. We start chatting until some of his other friends come in, but they were nice though so I started chatting with them as well. I've made 3 more friends. Ken, Cry and Matthias. "Are you Irish?" Ken asked. "Yes I am." Matthias asked, "Why did you move here?" "Because me ma got a job here." Cry asked, "Are you okay about the bullies?" I bit my lip, "Yeah, it's fine." Then we kept talking about other stuff. It felt like 5 minutes until bell had rung. At least we were in the same class together, P.E. We get our gym clothes and go change. We went into the gym and it was so big! About the same size as a house! Way bigger than in Ireland. I explained to them how small the ones in Ireland were and how big these were. We all chuckled. Then, I spotted Mark, with Bob and Wade. I had a worried expression on my face. But Felix and Cry told me it was going to be okay. "We are going to play dodgeball today." The teacher said, "I will put you into two teams, no complaining though." We got into teams, I was gladly with Ken and Matthias, but Felix and Cry were on the other team. I then saw Mark come to this team, oh no.

Mark's POV
I joined J_____ team and I was happy. But he looked worried, probably because he thought I was going to try to make him get hit. He was talking with Ken and Matthias, telling him to be okay. Then I heard them say Jack, so his name is Jack, huh. Cute name. I smiled, ready to take the other team on.

Jack's POV
I calmed down with the help of Ken and Matthias. I was ready. The teacher counted down, "3, 2, 1, Let the game, begin!"
