Marinette's P.O.V.

I paced back and forth in my room . What should I wear ? I have two outfits that is currently in my bed waiting to be picked, but I somehow don't know what to chose. What if Adrien sees how horrible I look with it and changes his mind? What if he thinks that I'm trying to hard and that I'm desperate?

I shook those thoughts away and took a deep breath and closed my eyes and chose a random outfit in my bed. I felt the cloth and when I changed into it. I looked at the mirror.

The outfit is perfect! I smiled and applied a bit of lipstick and foundation . I grabbed my purse and went down. Emma is with grandpa Fu at the time , so it's really quiet here. I really miss her little giggles and smiles that always brings one to my face.

There was a knock on the door. I opened it and was greeted by Adrien's handsome face. He smiled and handed me a bouquet of roses. I smiled back and took it.

"Are you ready my lady?" He asked as he handed me his arm.

"As I'll ever be." I answered.

He chuckled and led me to his car. Gabriel had gave in a few days ago and gave him his own car as long as he promised him that he'll be careful. It was a nice car too. It was a silver Lamborghini.

He opened my door for me and I went in. He took his place in the driver seat and we were off to the place where he is taking us for our date , but refuses to tell me where. I want to know.

Adrien's P.O.V.

I opened the door to a blindfolded Marinette. I told her to put on the blindfold before we reached the destination. She shot me a questioning look , but did it otherwise. I led her a bit further and then I took it off.

"Welcome to Golden Set Beach , Mari."

Golden Set Beach, is a restaurant in the beach which is very hard to get reservations . This place is expensive, but it has a breathtaking view and the food is exquisite , not to mention that the music here gives of a relaxing vibe that you could easily doze into if you were really tired.

All I had to do was state my name and I had the reservation to the best spot in the restaurant. This was probably the first time in my life that I actually appreciate my fame. Marinette seemed to be enjoying her time and I was thankful for that . If date turned out bad, I don't know if I'll ever have the courage to even look at her again.

The waiter gave us the menu . Marinette ordered spaghetti and ice tea and I ordered salmon and juice. For dessert , we both ordered ice cream sundae. Once the waiter left, I turned back to face Mari.

"So.....um , uh...." I tried to make conversation, but it didn't turn out like I hoped.

Marinette giggled . Gosh that cute. "Adrien are you nervous?"

"Can you blame me? I'm here with a walking angel that still surprised me that she accepted my offer to go out with me."

She blushed" Adrien stop that."

"Stop what?"

"Talking like I'm someone important , I'm nothing near to that."

I shook my head and reached my hand to hers." You're important Marinette, even if you don't realize it, there are people who needs you. Like Emma and I . We need you ."

She smiled brightly at me." Thank you Adrien, for making me feel special."

I wrapped my hands around hers." You feel that because you are that."

Our food arrived and we began to eat. Marinette seemed content with her food and I was too. They did not lie when they said that their food was legendary. It was simply exquisite.

After I paid for lunch, we went around town and I began to get more familiar here. I was about to take her home, when her phone rang.

"Excuse me Adrien." She said and took the call.

Her smile immediately dropped and she looked fearful. What's wrong? She had tears pricking her eyes and they fell harder than a waterfall. What could make her like this? She dropped her phone and sobbed.

I wrapped my arms around her trying to soothe her." Marinette, what's wrong?"

Her tear streaked face looked at me with worry." It's about................"
