My whole story begins in kindergarten.

I distinctly remember walking in the first day and as soon as I take a step this girl runs up to me and starts jumping.

"Hey hey hey wanna be my friend? Please?"

Her mom and mine shared a knowing look. To this day, we are still friends, and I credit her for being the inspiration of Casmira Greye (my book, To The Stars).

However, my best friend in kindergarted was a boy named Chad.

One day, my mom told me I couldn't be friends with him anymore.

I told him the next day.

For the first time, I experienced what it was like to lose a friend.

Kindergarten went great for the rest of the year, and I still miss Circle Time. I spent too much time looking at the sun, which might explain why i'm slightly tanned and the fact I have glasses.
