There is a long and unresolved conflict between the two countries in the middle of the Middle East. For more than a century, Jews and Arabs have disagreed over who should own the land between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea.

Hamas has been firing hundreds of rockets into Israeli territory and Israel has been responding with airstrikes.
A Palestinian family have been killed in their OWN HOME. Children are afraid! Even adults who have lived in war since their childhood are afraid. In Gaza, the toll from the fighting rose to 122 killed, including 31 children and 20 women, with 900 wounded, according to the Health Ministry. The Hamas and Islamic Jihad militant groups have confirmed 20 deaths in their ranks, though Israel says that number is much higher. Eight people have been killed in Israel, including a 6-year-old boy and a soldier. Over 1,000 people have been wounded since as as Israel intensifies attacks against Hamas.

An eighth Israeli citizen, an 87-year-old woman, also died after falling while on her way to a bomb shelter, according to the Israeli emergency service. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said the Israeli airstrikes have destroyed at least 500 homes in the Gaza Strip, along with 60 government buildings and three apartment towers. Some 23 schools and universities have also been damaged, while 24 factories and industrial establishments have been damaged or destroyed. Ten Palestinian protesters were shot and killed in clashes with Israeli security forces in the West Bank on Friday.

Large buildings in Palestine have been collapsed, children are scared for their lives, and people have been trying to escape this war. When the sun rose, residents streamed out of the area in pickup trucks, on donkeys and on foot, taking pillows, blankets, pots and pans and bread. "We were terrified for our children, who were screaming and shaking," said Hedaia Maarouf, who fled with her extended family of 19 people, including 13 children. People have no food to eat and no mattresses to sleep on.

PLEASE STOP ATTACKING PALESTINE. PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR LIVES.

If you know anyone in Palestine, make sure they are safe and please help them! Donating, protesting, and petitions may seem a bit useless to you, but if a protest, donation, or petitions becomes very well known and have lots of attention, world leaders may see it and help PALESTINE!
