"W-What?!" Nicole said shocked.

"I had put myself into a coma the same year you did. Two years ago I woke up and I looked for you... You weren't around and I was relieved." He says.

"W-Why?" She asked.

"Because you would kill me when you found out I killed your parents and you." He says.

"You're insane!" Nicole shouted.

He smirked. "You forgot about me! I was angry, this was the only thing I could do!"

"I hate you!" Nicole yelled.

He smirked again. "That's a lie. You love me. You even told me you do."

"What...?" She says, she was confused and angry and also upset.

"It happened when I had jabbed the knife in your side." He says.

"How could you...?" Nicole coughed up blood.

"You forgot about me. It'd be a lot easier if you died and I forgot about you." Vance says.

"I suffered a bit of amnesia... I'm sorry... But I can remember one thing... I loved you..." Nicole whispered.

Vance's eyes had widened, he then heard her parents and brothers coming. He quickly ran, his tears leaving his eyes.

"Dammit." He whispered.

"You said you loved me." He says.

"Feelings change... I will never love you. I won't even like you now." She says

He chuckled. "I never expected you to." He says. "But now you know to much... So now I have to..." He pulled out a knife.

Nicole's eyes widened. 'He's going to kill me! Is he psychotic?! What happened to the cute and cool Vance from before?! What did I see in him before?!'

"You say you're my best friend. Why would you kill your best friend?" She asked.

"Simple..." He whispered something to her and Nicole's eyes then widened more.

He smirked. "Now that you know say goodbye." He was about to kill her. This was it.

"Hunter!" She shouted, he was the first person that she thought of. Her eyes were closed.

Just then a hand went on the blade of the knife, stopping it from moving.

"You called?" A voice said. Nicole's eyes opened.

"Hunter!" Nicole says happily and surprised.

"Don't you dare touch her again." Hunter says, grabbing the knife and throwing it on the ground. Blood was dripping from his hand.

"Hunter..." She whispered.
